MASS 002 is here! After following the infamous Alien Recordings imprint for many years, we had the honour of hosting Andy Panayi and Alec Stone aka A² in 2019. Passion poured out of the pair and it soon became clear how their prolific label has remained relevant for over 20 years. After Andy's tragic passing in 2020, we are honoured to present these precious cuts recorded in the late 90s and early 2000s. Andy and Alec's A² project features alongside Andy and Rob Collman's Stopouts project. The upmost gratitude and respect goes out to Alec, Rob and all the Alien Recordings family for allowing us to publish this memory. RIP Andy ❤️

Domi is a refreshing light in the Parisian underground. Long time Leeds legend @joshplews steps up for the next MASS Mix! His marathon sets both solo and together with Konnie under their Gas House Kids alias have been pivotal in shaping the Yorkshire sound. Plews’ infectious energy is central to the city’s scene, working closely with the infamous Back to Basics collective, his unique and considered selections define a true DJ’s 'DJ'.

Step inside the sound of @alienrecordings maestros A², recorded live at MASS, Temple of Boom in Leeds, UK. Last September, we were informed of the awful news of Andy Panayi passing. Following a short battle with cancer, the gentleman, innovator and role model of this movement left us with the countless memories and stacks of timeless music. It is with great pleasure and the word of Alec, we present this special mix of these two UK legends in full flow, spinning records in their natural habitat of the dance.
