About this episode
Marc Megna and guest Joe discuss the importance of relationships in achieving success in sports and life.
Success doesn't happen overnight, contrary to popular desire. Joe and Marc were teammates at the University of Richmond where both of them helped turn a doormat program into a national contender with the program winning its first A10 Championship in 1998. Following his playing days at UR, Joe entered the NFL as the lowest level intern possible in the scouting department for the Baltimore Ravens. But, he saw that as an opportunity. He climbed the ranks with the Ravens, spent time with the Chicago Bears, helped the Philadelphia Eagles win a superbowl, moved on to the New York Jets and is now back with the Philadelphia Eagles. 25 years later he has become one of the most respected and knowledgeable recruiters in the game . And, every step of the way was founded on solid relationships. #nfl #sports #life #leadership #relationship #coaching #football #learning #baltimoreravens #chicagobears #philadelphiaeagles #newyorkjets #youtube #scout #work Click here to learn more about Marc Megna: https://www.justakidfromfallriver.com/
