This topic came from a social situation where Christian was concerned with re connecting with family after being away for so long. He butted heads and challenged everyone no matter their status in the world. He yelled at people in the street, spat in the face of nobles, challenged philosophers and mocked kings. He did not care what others thought of him, he had no shame and this mind set if what has given us the ideas of cynicism today. But is this the whole story? Were his words cherry picked to create a specific image of him to the masses so he will be more acceptable? Weight cutting and combat sports go hand in hand. To some it is just a badge of honor we wear to prove that we belong in those sports. VR has given us the ability to experience almost first hand certain situations that would have been lost to us in the past. Hey there Mogpies! In the last couple of years we have really began to see how information can be used as a life saving tool, but also as a dangerous weapon. There is more fear now than ever revolving around what information we share and with whom. There is such a fear of someone stealing our ideas or our words being taken out of context. But with how connected the entire world is, why are we not sharing our knowledge with everyone to see what new and exciting thing we can come up with in a fraction of the time it used to take. Look at how fast the vaccine was made for COVID and that is through sharing our finding with one another. But there are those that are holding back this progress, and it is mostly the publishing companies. They want to hold onto all knowledge and block it with a large pay wall.
