About this episode

In this episode, Ashlee discusses small acts of rebellion and personal growth while sharing her experiences with espresso martinis and vlogging.

Hello and welcome back to Nevertheless, Shlee Persisted. This week’s episode is part gratitude list, part brain dump, and full of heart. Let’s chat all things espresso martini, my hair that just keeps growing despite the constant temptation to cut it, and the nostalgic magic of train-car diners. We’re also switching things up by leaning into vlogging. Day by day, I’m easing back into a routine, and it’s definitely a work in progress. One idea that’s been bubbling up lately is something I’m calling small acts of rebellion . It started with a moment on the subway where I realized how much I’ve been shrinking myself — physically, emotionally — and decided it’s time to take up space again. I have a feeling these tiny, intentional moments of defiance can build into something big. So let’s talk about it — and maybe find a few small rebellions to weave into our own lives. P.S. I’ll be shifting to bi-weekly episodes for a bit while I live through all of this — thanks for riding with me As always, you can find me on Instagram @neverthelessshleepersisted xoxo
