Trevor is best known for his work as the Xenomorph in "Alien: Romulus", The Monstrosity in "Smile 2", a Wookie in The Mandalorian, and most recently the Chip (in demon form) in the 2025 Slamdance hit, "Portal to Hell"! I've become more and more familiar with Trevor's work and was thrilled to have him on the live WonderCon show. I talked with Trevor about growing up in Texas and his early ambitions of being a paleontologist, what dinosaur he would want to play in Jurassic Park, his fascination with being a voice actor, how he got into creature acting, our mutual love for Doug Jones, getting cast as the Xenomorph, the crazy costume for The Monstrosity, playing demon Richard Kind in Portal to Hell, your Q&A, and more! On today's episode I have the founder and presenter of SHORTS and the Oscar nominated ShortsTV program, Carter Pilcher! SHORTS is celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year, and prior to SHORTS presenting the Oscar nominated short film screenings, there was no way for the general public to view the nominated short films. Since the series was launched, it has become a massive hit, selling out theaters across the country before the nominees are even announced. On top of celebrating 20 years of SHORTS, I also had Carter on the show to talk about an issue at hand as two of the nominated filmmakers are currently not allowed to travel to the US for the ceremony due to the fact that they are from Iran. Hossein Molayemi and Shirin Sohani, the filmmakers behind "In the Shadow of the Cypress" have struggled to obtain Visas from the State Department. I talked with Carter about how SHORTS came about, the demand around the world for the program, the impact short films have on the viewing communities, and how all of us can try and help make it possible for Hossein and Shirin from "In the Shadow of the Cypress" to attend the Oscars and celebrate their incredible achievement. On today's episode we are coming to you LIVE from Los Angeles Comic-Con! For this episode I brought some of my Demonetize Productions team: Director and Co-Writer Alex Watson, Actress and Co-Writer Janine Hogan, and Producer Terrence Kiriokos. We were two days from our first prep week on the film and this was a great way to really get things going. This episode was recorded back in October, but since we immediately went right into production on Demonetize it's just seeing the light of day now. On the episode we talked about how the film came about, what inspired Alex and Janine while writing the film, how Terrence approaches our budget, ghost hunting and location scouting, finding our crew, and so much more. Thank you to Los Angeles Comic Con for having us and allowing us to do the show. I was thrilled I was able to bring Alex, Janine, and Terrence to the convention and to be able to talk about making Demonetize. On today's episode of the podcast, I have 5x Emmy winner and Grammy winner, Rob Kutner! Rob has been on the show a number of times as we writer for CONAN, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, for his comic books "Shrinkage" and "Snot Goblins", and today he joins me to talk about the new animated show he's the head writer of called, "God's Gang". Since Rob's departure from CONAN, he dove head on into animation. While "God's Gang" does center around religion's co-existing and working together, even if you are a non-religious person like me, it is still a very enjoyable show for all.
