| 9/9/25 | ![]() The Intersection of Emotion and Physical Pain | In this episode I share my personal journey of navigating pain that has recently developed in my feet & ankles, exploring the distinction between neuroplastic and physiological pain. Through a consultation with Charlie Merrill, I was able to uncovers the emotional connections to the pain and release any worry around whether or not it was physiological, or that I was risking injury through continued movement. Charlie helped me navigate this through an organic dialogue as well as some questions prompts and a physical assessment to rule out physical concerns. This episode is a recap from our consultation that I share in hopes that it might help you navigate pain on your journey. | 10/13/20 | ![]() 7: My TMS Journey with Dani Fagan | Today’s guest is Dani Fagan, from England. Dani not only has a great story to share but she is wonderful way or sharing full of whit, humor, and an occasional curse word or two, but all in good fun. We get into so much juicy good stuff…. go deep into all the stuff she tried that didn’t work, and what led her to what did. We talk about both Dr Sarno, and Nicole Sachs and the influence their work had on her healing. And while this show is for everyone who has ever had weird random unexplainable pain, this is especially for you if you have ever felt pain in your hip. Coming from a fitness background, I am not a stranger to the classic myth that our hips are tight from sitting… I fell for this once upon a time myself, spreading the message “sitting is the new smoking”. Honestly though, IMO, this couldn’t be further from the truth… Yes our lifestyle plays a huge role…but if you are the person who has tight hips or quads and you have tried “everything” spend an hour rolling them out only to have them tighten back up? Then it might be time to redirect your focus…. Dani goes in deep teaching us about how the psoas is known as “the muscle of the soul”. When we are experiencing stress in our life this will cause tension and tightness in our psoas muscle and this directly affects so many other systems in our body… Pelvic pain? Back pain? Digestive issues? Shallow breathing? Fatigue? Get the point? Listen in to get the details from Dani…but you can also find a whole section all about the relationship of the psoas and stress on her very thorough amazing website - which I highly recommend! What a wonderful resource she has created for the healing community. Lastly, check out her IG for her latest info on her new yoga classes tailored for anyone suffering from mindbody syndromes, designed to help reset and restore. | 9/8/20 | ![]() 2: Testimonial: From hopelessness to 100% | Today my guest for my very first interview is Kaelly Farnham. I am excited to share this story with you all in hopes that it resonates with you, and provides inspiration on your self healing journey. Today we talk a lot about something called, DNRS, or Dynamic Neural Retraining System. This is a brain rewiring program, that is designed for you to complete on your own each day, strengthening the inner healer within. Kaelly tells us how she reached a point when her 12th doctor told her there was nothing left he could do for her. At this time she felt like she was living life 25% of what could be possible. She takes us through her story all the way to 100% healing, and tells us how somewhere along the way through this journey, her 100% today became very different from what she would have considered 100% at the time she started DNRS. We talk about why this shifted, and how much her mindset and approach in life and relationships has even evolved through her self healing experience within. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did!!
