About this episode

This episode discusses the concept of safe rooms, their importance, and the investment involved in creating them.

A safe, also known as a panic room, is a safe place in a house or building designed to keep a family safe during a terrorist attack, wildlife, robbery or other threat. A secure room is a great investment for any homeowner, but you can usually find a room with a higher level of security in the homes of the rich. People with a lot of money don't have much budget. So they can easily spend thousands of dollars making their safes the best place to be in an emergency. A safe room for most of us is a place where family members can run, hide, or seek help in an emergency.
