| 6/25/26 | ![]() Episode 49 : Former US Marine Bryan Roof! | On this edition of Reset and Rise To The Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome the Host of "Coffee Talk With Bryan and Marie", former US Marine Bryan Roof to the show! Here's his bio in his own words :Born and raised in Lancaster, California, I graduated high school in May 1999. Shortly after, in February 2000, I made the pivotal decision to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. I served as a 3051 Supply Marine and deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in January 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, with my unit participating in the initial ground offensive. My time in service was not without personal hardship, including receiving a Red Cross message informing me of my grandmother's passing.Upon my honorable discharge in February 2004, I immediately transitioned into a demanding role within the aerospace industry, joining Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, California. That same year became a period of intense personal ambition and upheaval: I got married, became a father, embarked on a college degree, coached high school football, and even played semi-professional football. In hindsight, it's evident I placed an unsustainable burden upon myself during a critical post-military adjustment phase. Predictably, this frantic pace led to a rapid decline: my marriage faltered, ultimately ending in divorce. This period initiated a profound personal tailspin, forcing me to confront significant mental health challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, and an overwhelming sense of failure. My coping mechanisms at the time were destructive, characterized by excessive partying and drinking, which eventually led me to hit rock bottom. Amidst these struggles, I met my current wife, a truly remarkable woman who was raising three young boys, one of whom is non-verbal and autistic. Our connection was immediate and profound, leading to a quick marriage and the subsequent birth of our shared son, bringing our blended family to six children – five boys and one girl. It was after marrying her that I truly began to confront my mental health, recognizing the immense burden of unaddressed trauma I had carried for years. While the realization came swiftly, actively working through it became a multi-year journey of healing. My path took an unexpected turn in July 2018 when, after finally achieving full transparency about my struggles, the Veterans Administration deemed me "Unemployable." This designation was profoundly challenging, particularly as I had earned a business degree, achieved multiple promotions, and was thriving in my preferred role as a Project Manager, having finally attained substantial financial stability. To experience such a dramatic drop from a six-figure income to a quarter of that was devastating. This forced me to innovate and explore new avenues. I initially pursued various small business ventures, but my lifelong passion for talk radio sparked a new idea: to launch my own podcast. The podcast began simply: armed with a gaming microphone and my phone, I started recording personal reflections on what I considered my "interesting life." The process proved incredibly cathartic, prompting me to expand its scope. I soon began inviting fellow veterans to share their unique stories of service and the often-complex transition back to civilian life. This evolution led to "Heal Out Loud," a platform dedicated to openly discussing the good, the bad, and the ugly realities faced by military personnel and first responders. Last year, we launched a vital segment called "Coffee Talk," designed to delve deeper into issues frequently emerging from our interviews. This initiative connected me with Marie, whose courageous journey through addiction and sexual trauma resonated deeply. Her presence as co-host has been instrumental in creating a more inclusive space, particularly for female service members, encouraging them to share their experiences. Together, we champion the message that it’s okay not to be okay, offering a platform to "heal out loud" and normalize conversations around personal struggles. Our aim is to foster a community where we learn from our pasts, not allowing them to define us, but rather to shape us into stronger, more compassionate individuals. I am now in my fourth season, three and a half years into this fulfilling journey, and I eagerly anticipate sharing more of this mission with your audience.Follow Amanda on Instagram :@BackupBowler83Follow the show on Instagram and Tik Tok :@ResetandRisePodcastSend us an email with your questions and comments :resetandrisepodcast@gmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/reset-and-rise-to-the-unbreakable--6690676/support. | 1h 14m 55s | ||||||

| 6/11/26 | ![]() Episode 47 : Thomas Woo | On the next edition of Reset and Rise to the Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome Thomas Woo to the show! Here's his bio in his own words :Career Walmart to contracting railroad to working for one of the big four railroads. Started my own merch company Appalachian syndicate.Life Grew up in the south, moved to wv when my parents got divorced. While working with Walmart I met my wife who was also working there. We have 6 kids, 4 boys and two girls. Just celebrated our 10 year anniversary.SetbacksMy one and only true setback would be devotion to Christ. I grew up going to church, raised Catholic, even went to catholic school from 6th grade to graduation. I’ve always believed in God and practiced religion, I just mostly was going through the motions. I’ve celebrated sin and wasn’t a good Christian the least bit. But in the past couple of years(when I launched Appalachian syndicate) I have found a calling to understand and study the Bible. I’ve become closer to Christ and see myself speaking to him more and more through out the day as if I was speaking to my literal father instead of just a higher being. | 2/22/26 | ![]() Episode 31 : Todd McGill | On this edition of Reset and Rise to the Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome Todd McGill to the show! Here's his bio :I’ve been around bowling my whole life—growing up at Colerain Bowl, watching my dad and twin brother, and picking up the ball myself at 14. I quickly fell in love with the game, competing in youth leagues and even setting records—like being the first youth bowler in Ohio to average over 200. Bowling carried me through adulthood with perfect games, 800 series, and managing lanes—but life threw some challenges my way. Moving away, struggling with alcohol, anxiety, and stepping away from the sport tested me—but I found my way back home, and back to the game I love. I started the Sunday Sweeper at Northwest Lanes, built it into a city-wide event, launched TMT Bowling, and grew a community around the sport. Even when Colerain Bowl closed, new opportunities came with Bowlifi and becoming GM at Gilmore Lanes. Along the way, I was honored with the Sam Levine Memorial Award and inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Bowling Hall of Fame. Today, I still run tournaments, support the bowling community, and—even after health challenges—I’m back practicing, back enjoying the game, and sharing it with the people who make it so special. Bowling has always been, and will always be, my second home.Follow Amanda on Instagram :@BackupBowler83Follow the show on Instagram and Tik Tok :@ResetandRisePodcastSend us an email with your questions and comments :resetandrisepodcast@gmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/reset-and-rise-to-the-unbreakable--6690676/support. | 1h 49m 13s | ||||||
| 2/14/26 | ![]() Episode 30 : Host of the Wild Chaos Podcast Bryan "Bam Bam" Marshall! | On this edition of Reset and Rise to the Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome former Marine and host of the Wild Chaos Podcast, Bryan "Bam Bam" Marshall! Here's his bio : Bam Marshall is a Marine veteran, entrepreneur, husband, and father whose life has been shaped by service, loss of purpose, and the long road of rebuilding after war. At 18 years old, Bam joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served for eight years and completed two combat tours in Iraq. Like many who leave the military, stepping out of that world came with an unexpected cost. The structure, brotherhood, and clear sense of mission were gone, and he found himself deeply lost in purpose.Searching for direction, Bam turned to overseas contracting, spending time working in Afghanistan, still chasing the feeling of meaning he once had in uniform. In 2014, everything shifted. Bam co-founded Wishes For Warriors Corp, a nonprofit dedicated to helping combat-wounded veterans experience life-changing adventures to remind them that life after war is not only possible, but worth fighting for. What started as a mission to help others also became part of Bam’s own healing. For 12 years, he ran the organization, walking alongside wounded veterans, witnessing resilience up close, and learning that recovery is rarely linear. In 2026, he officially retired from the nonprofit, closing one chapter while honoring what it built. Beyond the nonprofit world, Bam has faced business failures, financial pressure, identity loss, and the internal battles that come with carrying responsibility for a family while trying to stay grounded. Rather than numbing or avoiding those struggles, he began rebuilding from the inside out through discipline, faith, fitness, and mindset as daily practices.Today, Bam is the host of The Wild Chaos Podcast, where he has raw, unfiltered conversations with veterans, law enforcement, and everyday people about trauma, growth, and the moments that force us to reset our lives. He also leads BAM Nation, a men’s brotherhood focused on accountability, integrity, and becoming the kind of man your family can rely on when things get hard. Bam’s message is simple but hard-earned: fear doesn’t go away when life gets easier. You overcome it by choosing to show up anyway. No matter how many times you’ve fallen, it’s never too late to reset, rise, and keep moving forward. | 2/6/26 | ![]() Episode 29 : US Army Veteran Jerry DeVaul, Jr ! | On this edition of Reset and Rise to the Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome US Army Veteran Jerry DeVaul. Jr to the show! Here's his bio : Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Trinidad, Jerry Joseph DeVaul Jr. is a proud U.S. Army Veteran, husband, father, adaptive athlete, and advocate for the disability community. After graduating from Trinidad High School in 2003—where he served as captain of both the football and wrestling teams and was crowned homecoming king—Jerry enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 23, 2003. He completed basic and advanced training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, becoming a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic with recovery specialization. His first duty station was Fort Hood, Texas, with Alpha Battery 2/20 Field Artillery, supporting MLRS rocket systems. Shortly after, Jerry volunteered to deploy to Iraq, switching units to 289th Quartermaster Company. He completed two 12-month combat deployments from 2004–2005 and 2006–2007, the second of which was extended due to stop-loss orders. Between deployments, Jerry became a father to his daughter Haleigh. After transferring to Fort Carson with the 984th Military Police Company, he deployed once more from 2009 to 2010. Upon returning, he transitioned to the Army Reserve—but before he could report, his life changed forever. On October 15, 2011, a catastrophic workplace accident resulted in the traumatic amputation of both legs below the knee. Left unattended for over an hour and 45 minutes, Jerry relied on his combat lifesaver training to stabilize himself, using improvised tools like wrenches and ratchet straps for tourniquets. Despite the trauma, he remained calm, directing life-saving efforts until Flight for Life arrived. He was flown to Denver Health—the very hospital where he was born—which became the place that saved his life once again. Refusing to let his injuries define him, Jerry rebuilt his life with relentless determination. He relearned to drive with hand controls and immersed himself in adaptive sports. In 2016, he found sled hockey and quickly rose through the ranks. He joined the Colorado Avalanche sled hockey A-team and was later voted in as Club President. In his first off-season, he helped the organization regain its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Since then, under his leadership, the team has won three national championships, two NHL Sled Classic titles, and Jerry was named a finalist for the Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award, presented by the NHL and Discovery. In addition to sports and advocacy, Jerry pursued his passion for cooking. From 2020 to 2022, he earned his Culinary Degree from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and is currently three-quarters of the way through his Baking and Pastry Arts degree. Whether it’s in the kitchen or on the ice, Jerry brings the same drive and passion to everything he does. Today, he remains focused on earning a spot on the U.S. Men’s National Sled Hockey Team. He loves working out, swimming, hunting, golfing, and fishing. Jerry is married to Regina Louise DeVaul and is the proud father of Haleigh, Jerry III, David, and Maximus. In January 2024, Dan founded Strike Against Suicide, Spare a Life LLC. His service awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and service awards. Dan Griner is married to Rika Griner, and has three children.Ashley T. Scott, an Ohio native, graduated from Maple Heights High School and attended Tiffin University before enlisting in the Navy Reserve in February 2010. She earned her Associates degree in General Studies from Columbia College in 2013, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ashford University in 2017, and a Master of Business Administration/Management, with a concentration in Leadership from Tiffin University in 2021. She has been around bowling since the age of 2 weeks old! But did not take bowling seriously until she was an adult. She did bowl youth league until I went to college, and it wasn’t until 2013 that she started to take bowling on seriously. She not only bowls leagues, but she is so thankful to represent her service as she has been part of the All Navy and Armed Forces bowling team for nearly 12 years. More importantly, she is so honored to be part of the Strike Against Suicide, Spare a Life initiative. Having served in the U.S. Navy now for over 14 years, She’s experienced losing (3) Sailors to suicide, and has dealt with many who have had suicidal ideations. Having dealt with (3) suicides, not one got easier to deal with than the one prior. Her hope is that through bowling, they are able to save lives, one game, one bowling ball, or even one pair of bowling shoes at a time. To be able to create an environment free of judgement allows our service men and women a safe place to let go all of the things that are bothering them go. All of the negative thoughts that tend to take over their lives are forgotten about. They are able to focus on all of the good things in their lives, and create memories with their fellow service members knowing that they have more in common with one another than they would think. It’s a beautiful thing to celebrate all of the reasons that we want to live, versus focusing on even just one reason why we don’t. If we can do that through bowling and save even just one life, we are doing our jobs. Together we can. Together we will. | 1/16/26 | ![]() Episode 26 : "Bad Coach Rex" Rex Enriquez! | On this edition of Reset and Rise to the Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome "Bad Coach Rex" Rex Enriquez to the show! Here's his bio : Rex is a 7th generation Texan, military combat veteran, nonprofit founder, podcast host, and tactical business coach who has built a career around one mission: helping people own who they are and turn it into impact. He spent his early years serving in the U.S. Air Force as an Intelligence Operator, working across diverse teams and geographic regions. In that role, he learned how to lead, train, and operate alongside some of the most elite forces this country produces-including Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, Air Force Special Operations, CIA, FBI, and foreign military partners-ensuring terrorist networks were dismantled and threats were eliminated. Those years forged his discipline, adaptability, and his belief that self mastery isn’t optional; it’s the baseline for anyone who wants to lead, create, or make an impact. After retiring from the military, Rex continued serving by giving his talents to nonprofit organizations in Florida. As an educator, instructor, and coach, he helped people find their purpose, develop marketable skills, and build the confidence needed to step into the workforce. That season cemented his commitment to community empowerment and real world support. When he returned home to Texas, Rex founded MF Coaching, a nonprofit built to move veterans forward in their lives through a proven self development framework he created. As the creator of MF Coaching, Rex brings a direct, cut through the BS approach to helping Veteran entrepreneurs, creators, and leaders build brands rooted in clarity, confidence, and identity. His coaching centers on a simple ethos: master yourself first. Because if you can’t control your mindset, your habits, and your identity, you’ll never control your business, your brand, or your life.Rex also uses podcasting as a broadcast extension of his coaching. Through conversations with high profile entrepreneurs, creators, and military community leaders, he turns each episode into a coaching session in disguise-challenging assumptions, exposing limiting beliefs, and showing listeners what it looks like to lead from who they truly are. His newest show, Identity, dives deep into the stories and defining moments that shape how people show up in the world. Known for his no nonsense style and tactical clarity, Rex helps people cut through the noise, communicate with purpose, and build lives and businesses that feel aligned-not performative. Whether he’s coaching, creating, or serving through his nonprofit, Rex’s work always comes back to the same core belief: identity and self mastery are the foundation of everything.Follow Amanda on Instagram :@BackupBowler83Follow the show on Instagram and Tik Tok :@ResetandRisePodcastSend us an email with your questions and comments :resetandrisepodcast@gmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/reset-and-rise-to-the-unbreakable--6690676/support. | 1h 39m 25s | ||||||
| 1/11/26 | ![]() Episode 25 : Entrepreneur Jordon Basurto! | On this edition of Reset and Rise to the Unbreakable With Amanda Moore, we welcome Jordon Basurto to the show! Here's his bio :Jordon Basurto is an entrepreneur, creative, and skydiving instructor whose path has been anything but linear. Raised in San Diego before moving to Idaho in his early teens, Jordon experienced loss at a young age when an immediate family member passed away from cancer. That moment reshaped his direction, pushing him to take ownership of his life early—earning his GED and moving to Lake Tahoe at 17 to chase snowboarding at a professional level. For years, snowboarding was everything. Winters in Tahoe, summers at Mt. Hood, competing professionally and living fully inside that world. In his early twenties, Jordon made a pivot—returning to San Diego to study fashion and co-found a denim brand. While the product was strong, the experience exposed a gap that would later define his career: marketing and business strategy. That curiosity led him into sales and distribution, where—starting with almost no money—he helped build one of the larger distribution networks in North America. During that time, he became a stage trainer, speaking in front of audiences of 5,000+ people. The experience sharpened his ability to lead, communicate, and build teams at scale. From there, Jordon transitioned into online marketing, app development, and creative work behind the camera, eventually opening and running a studio. But everything changed when he discovered skydiving. What began as curiosity quickly became a calling.
