Road to the Cross: The Lonely Road to the Cross Speaker: Pastor Jonathan Moe Scripture: Mark 2: 1-12 Big Idea: Jesus walked the loneliest road to the cross so we would never walk alone. 1. The Reality of Isolation (v.1–2) - Truth #1: Isolation is often the (barrier) before the miracle. 2. The Power of Community (v.3–4) - Truth #2: If you isolate, you stagnate. If you connect, you move. 3. The Importance of Forgiveness (v.5–10) - Key truth #3: “Forgiveness is the greater miracle—because it costs more.” 4. The Cost of the Cross (v.8–12) - Truth #4: Jesus walked alone…so we don’t have to. He takes our sin...so we can receive His righteousness. Because He was forsaken....we are never abandoned.
