In 2008, nurse Colin Norris was convicted of murdering four elderly patients and attempting to murder another at two hospitals in Leeds. Prosecutors said Norris deliberately injected vulnerable women with insulin, causing sudden and unexplained episodes of severe hypoglycaemia.
