Ketiov, the deeply personal project of Voitek Taranczuk (half of Catz ’n Dogz), indulges his boundary-breaking instincts, crossing genres with innovative rhythmic play and a deep history in house, disco, and techno. Their combined vision results in an EP that is both a nostalgic nod and a decisive step forward. The journey begins with the "México Tour (Original Mix)", a cut purpose-built to scorch the dancefloor. It’s an energizing track powered by an electrifying bassline, distorted vocals, and a solid drum foundation accompanied by relentless, frenzied cowbells. The EP then takes a twisted detour via a remix from Duro’s co-head, Theus Mago. Known for his genre-bending and geographically diverse sound, Radial Gaze brings his unique vision to the EP. He’s previously left his mark on esteemed labels like TAU, Feines Tier, and Hard Fist. Mexican label Duro Label is preparing for a new sonic journey with the return of one of its most cherished figures, Madrid's Álvaro Cabana. His new EP, "Indian Prototype", is an exploration of rhythms rooted in the wisdom of groove and the most influential sounds of the nineties and two thousands, without yielding an ounce to nostalgia. Álvaro Cabana, an active figure in the Madrid electronic scene since the late '90s and owner of the Rotten City label (home to artists like Red Axes, Curses, Eden Burns, and DC Salas), delivers an EP that stands as a testament to his fidelity to his roots and his constant evolution. The journey kicks off with "Proto", a track imbued with an early progressive essence. Deep basslines intertwine with expansive melodies and solid rhythms, creating psychedelic atmospheres that invite you into an introspective, mysterious, and energetic dance. Following this is "Tipo", a subtle nod to Underworld. Here, acidic and resonant synthesizers take over the dancefloor, propelled by drums and rhythms designed to unleash euphoria.
