Hey folks! Today on the feed we’re featuring The Sprouting. It’s an actual play podcast from our friends at Blighthouse Studios. The Sprouting is an eldritch horror set in an apocalyptic future where plants have taken over, magical bargains twist the fabric of reality and each survivor struggles to trust their own senses as they try to see their goals through to their ends. The cast uses the rules of Call of Cthulhu, with Pulp Cthulhu influences, to heighten the drama of our story and leave the fate of the story at the whims of the dice. In additional to original scoring, the show also features immersive ambience for the scenes. We get to hear the plants rushing towards our new companions.
