| 6/24/25 | ![]() The Power of Visualization: Imagine It, Live It, Become It | Welcome to today’s episode where we are exploring a practice that’s been used by mystics and Olympic athletes alike. For sure, it’s a practice your higher self already understands, even if your mind has forgotten. I’m talking about the power of visualization. What Is Visualization and Why It MattersVisualization is more than just daydreaming. Yes, it uses the power of your imagination but combined with the conscious creation of mental images with the purpose of linking your inner desires to your outer reality. It’s intentional. It’s focused. And when done correctly, it can literally rewire your brain and reshape your life.Saint Germain, in his book Saint Germain on Alchemy, said this:“All that the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind of man can achieve through the God flame within.” The God flame is the Divine Spark in your heart that gives you life. And notice he said, “conceive and believe.” Doubt alone can sabotage the outcome.Visualization is how we bring that “God flame” into focus. It’s the spiritual sketchpad for the life you want to manifest. When you visualize clearly—whether it's a healthy body, a thriving relationship, a successful business, or a deeper spiritual connection—you begin to tune in to that possibility. You raise your frequency to meet it. You don’t just think about it—you feel it. And that’s where the magic happens. What Science Is Now ConfirmingNeuroscience now tells us that the brain doesn’t know the difference between something vividly imagined and something actually experienced. When you visualize yourself succeeding—say, giving a public talk or running a marathon—your brain activates the same neurochemical sequences it would if you were doing it in real life. You trigger your motor cortex, your planning centers, your emotional response systems—all from within. They say that this process helps build new neural pathways and rewires your beliefs. You literally create a “new normal” in your nervous system. Visualization also activates your Reticular Activating System, which is like a filter in your brain that starts scanning the world for opportunities that match what you are visualizing and focusing on. Think the law of attraction meets neuroplasticity. The Athlete’s Secret WeaponLet’s bring this down to earth with a real-world example.Michael Phelps, the Olympic swimmer, is a master of visualization. His coach revealed that for years before major races, Phelps would mentally rehearse every detail of his performance—the strokes, the turns, the crowd noise, even the water getting in his goggles. And during the 2008 Olympics, something extraordinary happened. In one of his races, his goggles did fill with water. But Phelps didn’t panic. He had already “swum that race blind” in his mind so many times, he executed it flawlessly—by memory. He won gold. Why? Because visualization was his training. The inner image shaped the outer reality. And many other athletes have said the same thing about rehearsing in their minds before a game or a competition.A Spiritual Perspective on Playful PowerRemember how, as children, we could imagine anything? A cardboard box became a spaceship. A blanket became a cape. That was our divine creative power at work—before it got filtered by fear, logic, and “reality.”Visualization brings that divine play back into your life. It reconnects you to your spiritual innocence and your creative authority.Saint Germain also taught that visualization isn’t just wishful thinking—it’s a command to the ethers. When combined with emotion, it creates form.So don’t just think it. Feel it. See it. Be it. You step into that reality, seeing and experiencing the outcome. How to Start TodaySo if you have never consciously visualized something you wanted to create, accomplish or draw to you, here are some pointers to begin:* Pick one goal. Be specific. Specificity is very important. Let’s say, “I want to confidently deliver my next presentation.”* Then close your eyes and imagine yourself walking up, breathing calmly, smiling, and delivering your talk smoothly. In fact, deliver that talk in your mind.* Then add feeling. Feel the joy, the confidence, the energy of your audience. Feel and hear them laughing when you say something funny or amusing. See them intently listening to your every word.* Repeat daily. Let it become so real in your mind that your body starts believing it's already happened.* Let go of the ‘how.’ Stay open to the divine orchestration of events that will align with your vision. This is your creation.Visualization is a spiritual art as well as a neurological science. It’s how we speak to our subconscious. It’s how we co-create with God.Saint Germain reminds us: “The flame of God never fails. And all that is imagined through the sacred mind of God, and claimed in righteousness, must come to pass.”So, if you're ready to step into your next chapter—don’t just work harder. As they say, work smarter.See it. Feel it. Live it—before it even happens.Because once your soul sees it… it’s only a matter of time before your world does too. Thanks for tuning in today. If this episode sparked something in you, share it with a friend—and remember: your imagination is not just fantasy. It’s the blueprint of your destiny.Until next time—stay awake, stay wise, and never stop creating from the God flame within. This is a public episode. | 6/10/25 | ![]() Push My Buttons and I’ll Show You My Shadow! | Hello and welcome to today’s episode where we skip the fluff, challenge the narratives, and dive deep into the soul work that actually transforms your life.Today we’re going to talk about something you won’t find on most meditation apps or spiritual influencer reels—emotional buttons. I think you know what I’m talking about… those triggers that, when pushed, bypass your logic and throw you into an instant emotional reaction.Someone cuts you off in traffic. Your partner interrupts you mid-sentence. You walk into a cluttered room after a long day—and boom. You're suddenly angry, annoyed, or just shut down. It happens fast, almost like a reflex. But here’s the spiritual truth: No one is pushing your buttons. You’re reacting to your own unhealed stuff. So, let’s talk about how to disconnect these buttons—not repress your emotions, but actually understand, rewire, and ultimately reclaim your power.Know Thy Triggers (Because They Know You)We all have emotional buttons—but they’re not universal. Yours may be triggered by a late text message, while someone else couldn’t care less. That’s the first clue: These reactions are personal. They're built from your own experiences and internal beliefs. The first step is simple but not easy: Observe yourself.Start paying attention. When you get angry, anxious, or offended, hit the pause button. Ask yourself:* What just happened?* Who was involved?* What was said?* What emotion came up?And—here’s the kicker—does this feel familiar? Because chances are, it’s not the first time this button’s been pushed. You’re not crazy or broken for reacting. But you are responsible if you want to change.Getting Real with Yourself (And Maybe a Few Trusted Friends)Self-awareness isn’t always a solo project. Sometimes we need mirrors—people we trust to tell us the truth.Ask a few close friends or family members: “What do you think sets me off emotionally?” You might be shocked. What you think is a “normal reaction” might look like an overreaction to others. But don’t take it personally—use it. It’s feedback and that’s valuable. Then, take what you’ve learned and make a list. Write out your emotional triggers. Don’t judge them, just name them. You can’t heal what you won’t face. This alone can be a revealing exercise. The Hidden Cost of Being TriggeredThe truth is, your emotional buttons are hurting you. They’re not just an inconvenience. They’re blocking your peace, your growth, your success, and even your spiritual evolution. Think about it:* Are your buttons damaging your relationships?* Making you look unprofessional?* Sabotaging your confidence?Every time you react instead of respond, you give away your power. Reacting and responding may seem similar, but they come from very different places within you.Reacting is often immediate, emotional, and unconscious—it's a knee-jerk impulse driven by old wounds, habits, or ego defenses. It usually happens without thought and often leads to regret or escalation.Responding, on the other hand, is intentional. It’s a conscious choice made after pausing, observing, and considering the situation. Responding comes from awareness rather than reactivity—from the higher self rather than the wounded self. In essence, reacting is being controlled by the moment; responding is taking control of the moment.Uncover the Origin StoryNow here’s where it gets deeper: Where did these buttons come from?Childhood? A past betrayal? A controlling parent? A traumatic event?Dig into the why. For example, if being ignored sends you into a rage, ask yourself: When in my past did I feel invisible? That question alone can lead to profound healing. This is shadow work. And it’s sacred.Rewrite the ScriptNow that you have identified your triggers, it’s time to ask:What would a healthy, empowered response look like? Not the spiritual bypass version. Not the fake smile. But the real you—responding with awareness, not reaction.Play out scenarios in your mind. “Next time I feel disrespected, I’m gonna pause, breathe, and speak my truth calmly.”It is possible to interrupt your emotional reactions. Mentally speak to yourself by name, “Nancy, stop, I’m handling this.” Then take a step back, evaluate and respond. And remember, silence is a response if that is what is the best response is in a particular situation. It won’t be perfect at first. But every time you pause instead of explode, you weaken the old wiring.Practice, Fail, RepeatSpiritual mastery doesn’t mean you never get triggered. It means you notice it faster and recover quicker. You’re building new emotional reflexes and that takes time.Be patient with yourself. Your nervous system has to rewire. Your soul is learning to lead. And every time you choose consciousness over chaos, you gain ground. This isn’t self-help stuff. This is warrior-level soul work.Learning your emotional buttons—and choosing not to be ruled by them—isn’t just good psychology. It’s good spirituality. It’s what Christ meant when he said, “Be in the world, but not of it.” It’s what every true spiritual master teaches: Know thyself. Master thyself. Be thyself. So, the next time someone presses your buttons, remember—they’re not the enemy. They’re just showing you where you're still enslaved.Take the opportunity to grow. Thanks for tuning in today. If this episode hit home for you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. And as always—stay positive, grateful and true to your soul. This is a public episode. | 6/3/25 | ![]() Spiritual Intelligence: Awakening the Power They Don’t Want You to Remember | Hello, everyone, and welcome to today’s episode where we are talking about a kind of intelligence that doesn’t get tested on any standardized exam—yet it’s the most important intelligence you’ll ever develop—spiritual intelligence. To sum it up in one statement, spiritual intelligence is your level of awareness of who you are, of the divine power that resides within you, and how to use that power for constructive change. This isn’t about head knowledge. This is about soul power. And here’s the hard truth: the world we’re living in today—chaotic, distracted, shallow—is designed to keep you from developing this intelligence. Because once you do, you stop being easy to control. So, what is spiritual intelligence really?Let’s define it clearly.Spiritual intelligence is not religion. It’s not being “nice.” It’s not about knowing every verse in the Bible or quoting every Eastern sage. It’s the living, breathing awareness that you are a co-creator with God—and that your thoughts, emotions, choices, and prayers have real consequences, both in the energetic and physical world. It’s waking up to the truth that you are not a victim. You’re not stuck. You’re not small. You’re not powerless. You are a son or daughter of God.Spiritual intelligence means taking radical responsibility for every area of your life—your health, your finances, your relationships, your happiness, your purpose. It’s not about blaming others or getting stuck in resentment over your past. You don’t get to blame your parents, your ex, your boss, your genetics, or the government for the rest of your life.Yes, life can be hard. Yes, injustice exists. But the most dangerous lie is that we are powerless against it.YOU ARE PART OF THE ANSWERThere’s a powerful near-death experience testimony floating around on YouTube—maybe you've seen it. It’s called “I Saw How Prayer Actually Changes Reality .”One moment in that video that was especially relevant to what we are talking about today is when the woman, Alice Carter, said she was told by the angel who was communicating with her—who she called Gabriel—showed her what she described as “a kind of a DNA structure made of light.”Gabriel explained that this structure was the pattern of all possible answers to any given prayer. He said prayer doesn’t change God’s mind, but it does change what’s possible within the framework of Free Will and Divine Law when humans pray. Remember, we’ve been given free will in this dimension and karma impacts Divine Law.Gabriel also said that people praying are not convincing God to act differently. Rather, they’re participating in the process of creation itself. Alice said, “I watched as prayers actually altered these light structures opening new possibilities and closing others. It was like watching a cosmic chess game where each prayer moved pieces in ways that affected countless other moves.”Think about that. You pray for healing, and God may send you to be the one who brings comfort. You pray for peace, and you may be the one who is called to forgive. You pray for change—and you may be the one God uses to carry it out. That’s what it means to be a co-creator. That’s spiritual intelligence in action. It’s about partnering with God to bring divine solutions into physical form—through your own hands, heart, voice, and will.WHAT SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE IS NOTNow let’s be clear—spiritual intelligence is not about running out and joining a protest just because everyone else is doing it. This is not about performative activism. It’s not about getting “loud for a cause” that you barely understand because it makes you feel relevant. True spiritual action comes from deep discernment and understanding, not emotional reaction. It’s guided by the inner voice of Spirit, not the mob. It’s about divine justice—not cancel culture, not virtue signaling. In fact, some of the loudest voices today are fighting for "justice" without the faintest clue of divine law or karma. That’s not spiritual intelligence—that’s spiritual immaturity with a megaphone.Spiritual intelligence is inner government. It’s self-mastery. And when you govern yourself, you can more effectively help heal the world around you.USING YOUR POWER FOR CONSTRUCTIVE CHANGESo, what do you do with this intelligence? You use it.You bless where you used to curse. You speak truth where you used to stay silent. You bring light where you used to project fear. You take up your spiritual tools—the violet flame, meditation, affirmations, decrees, prayer—and you go to work. And when you pray, don’t stop at the prayer.Ask: What can I do to be part of the answer? That’s spiritual adulthood. That’s what the world needs now—not more slogans, not more blame, not more noise, not more hate or violence. But spiritually intelligent people who are awake, aligned, and know how to constructively use the power of the Divine within them. So, I leave you with this question:Are you living like a spiritual adult—or are you still finding excuses or blaming others?Because here’s the deal: Spiritual intelligence isn’t just a nice idea. It’s your opportunity to serve and fulfill your reason for being by projecting light into dark situations, by sending healing energy to those who are in need, and by using the violet flame to transmute negativity. It’s your key to personal freedom. And it’s the only way we’re going to shift this world from chaos to clarity, from breakdown to breakthrough.Remember, the power within you is greater than any power outside of you.Be part of the solution.I’ll see you next week. | 5/27/25 | ![]() Coping with Spirit—5 Reasons You Need Spiritual Strategies for Life’s Challenges | Hello and welcome back to Spirituality for the Politically Incorrect—the podcast where we blend the raw realities of everyday life with the timeless wisdom of the soul.If you're feeling like the world is spinning faster than ever, you're not alone. We’re living in a time of extreme uncertainty—economically, politically, emotionally, spiritually. And the truth is, life isn't always fair. But what if I told you that you were never meant to face these challenges alone?Today we’re talking about coping strategies—but not just the kind you'll find in psychology textbooks. We're going deeper. We're talking about spiritual coping strategies—tools that allow you to not only survive but spiritually transcend the chaos around you.So let’s get into it. First,1. The Human Experience… with Divine HelpIt’s true—disappointment, fear, and confusion have always been part of the human experience. Whether it was ancient humans facing wild animals or modern folks dealing with inflation, divorce, or health issues, suffering isn't new.But neither is divine assistance. When life hits hard, you have the right to call to Archangel Michael, the defender of faith and protector of light. Simply saying, “Archangel Michael, help me now!” is more powerful than you realize. His legions of blue-flame angels are standing by—not to remove the test, but to empower you to meet it with strength and courage. You are not alone in your battles, and you never have been.2. Problem-Solving… with the I AM PresencePsychologists say that there are two ways to cope: productively or dysfunctionally. You can face the issue—or spiral into brooding, denial, or blame. Sound familiar? We see a lot of that these days. But here's the twist: when you remember who you are as a divine being, you can tap into the I AM Presence within, that inner spark of God who knows the solution before the problem even arises.Instead of brooding, go within. Firmly tell yourself to “Stop!” Then quiet yourself, meditate, breathe deeply and say:“Beloved I AM Presence, show me the way.”Suddenly, you’re not reacting from fear—you’re responding from clarity. That’s divine problem-solving.3. Balance… and the Power of GratitudeLoss and grief are part of life. Relationships end, careers shift, loved ones pass. The emotional stages are real—denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally acceptance. But here’s a spiritual secret: Gratitude shifts grief.Even in sorrow, you can say, “Thank you for the time I had. Thank you for the love I experienced. Thank you for the growth this pain is teaching me. Thank you for life.”Gratitude is not denial—it’s divine reframing. It raises your vibration so you are able to handle the situation in a higher state of mind. And it creates balance, giving you permission to both feel and heal.4. Moving Forward… by Transcending Victim ConsciousnessWithout coping strategies, we stay stuck—replaying the same problems, blaming the world, waiting for someone else to rescue us.But victimhood is a trap. And it’s one you don’t have to stay in.The spiritual path invites you to reclaim your power and say: “I AM empowered. I AM a co-creator.”Now, does this mean that you deny negative feelings or grief? Absolutely not. Allow yourself to feel the emotions but don’t identify with them. Emotions are energy-in-motion.Acknowledge them and let them pass through you. The stages of grief can be moved through naturally if you do not cling to the negatives and realize that those emotions are not your reality—they’re just energies passing through you. You’ve fallen? Get up. Dust off your soul. Call on the angels. Decree your victory. Ask your Higher Self to blaze the violet flame through your limitations, transmute the pain and move forward.Every trial is a training ground for your ascension.5. Resilience… and the Alchemy of the SoulResilience isn’t just a mental trait—it’s spiritual muscle. And you build it every time you turn to God instead of fear. Every time you choose prayer over panic. Every time you pick up your spiritual sword instead of laying down in despair.Want to build resilience?* Start your day with a simple I AM affirmation and repeat it until your vibration raises:“I AM the Resurrection and the Life of my courage, my peace, my purpose.”* Make time for silence.* Decree light into every challenge.* Stay connected to spiritual community.* And remember: you are stronger than you think—because God lives in you. And the power within you is greater than any power outside of you.Coping strategies are more than survival tools—they’re spiritual practices. They help you navigate this imperfect world with inner strength, divine insight, and a heart that refuses to give up.So, next time life throws you a curveball, remember this:You're not powerless. You're not alone. And you are not a victim. You are a spiritual warrior, backed by archangels and many angels, filled with the light of your I AM Presence and Christ within, and capable of transcending any difficulty with grace.Thank you for joining me today. If this episode resonated with you, share it, leave a review, and come back next week as we keep pushing through the nonsense—together—with truth, fire, and love.Until next time, stay grounded… and draw down Spirit into your life. | 5/20/25 | ![]() Let Failure Refine You, Not Define You | Hi, welcome back to my podcast—the place where truth cuts through the fluff, and we dive deep into the spiritual meaning behind what others might call everyday life.Today, we’re talking about something that everyone experiences but few are willing to admit or talk about openly: failure.Yes—failure. And not just the falling down part, but the fear that creeps in and tries to paralyze you before you even begin. Now before you hit pause or skip to the next episode, stay with me. Because what we’re really talking about here isn’t just failure—it’s transformation. It's about how you can stop letting failure define you, and start letting it refine you.So, let’s break this down. Psychologists, business leaders, spiritual teachers—they all agree on one thing: fear of failure is one of the biggest roadblocks to personal growth, success, and spiritual fulfillment.Preparing for the Fear of FailureSo, let’s begin with preparation—because every battle starts in the mind. The first step to overcoming fear of failure is redefining what failure actually is.What if failure wasn’t the enemy? What if it was a teacher?A spiritual initiation?A signpost that you're actually moving forward instead of staying stuck? In business, leaders have started calling failures “learning moments.” And spiritually, we can see them as, let’s say, karmic steppingstones—tools that chisel away the ego and bring out the soul’s brilliance.Like Michaelangelo said: "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free."Shifting your mindset is critical in getting past a fear of failure. Here are a few mindset shifts that can help:First, redefine failure. It's not the opposite of success. It’s part of success. Think about this every time you flip on a light switch. It was not until 1879, a full 72 years after the first breakthrough experiment, that Edison, after about 2000 failed attempts, produced what we now call a “light bulb.” So, failure simply means, try a different approach.Second, find the “gold” in past failures. Every failed relationship, every lost opportunity—it taught you something you could not have learned otherwise. And this is challenging. It’s challenging you to forgive yourself for making a so-called mistake and focus on the positive outcome, which is, “What you are taking away from the experience?”Next, Stop seeing failure as a threat: Instead, see it as a challenge. Your soul doesn't evolve without challenges. A challenge is something that puts you to the test. Then, set “approach” goals, not “avoidance” goals: Now what I mean by this is, don’t set goals like “I hope I don’t mess this up.” Rather, set goals like “I’m going to learn something new today.” Feel the difference? It’s important what you say and what your words mean and convey to the Universe.Preparing this way shifts your frequency and perspective. You go from fear to curiosity. From contraction to expansion.Confronting the FearNow let’s talk about confronting fear in the moment—because preparation’s great, but at some point, you have to walk through the fire. You have to face the dragon and realize…it’s just a shadow. The first step is to develop that habit of letting the fear pass. Feel it—but don’t bond with it. Don’t become it. Think of emotions as visitors, not roommates. Let them pass through. If your plan isn’t working, don’t freeze. Adjust the plan. The only real failure is staying stuck. Changing goals in the middle of the journey doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you’re wise enough to adapt. And don’t forget the power of confidence. Real confidence isn’t arrogance. It’s remembering what you’ve already become. Think back to a time you thought you wouldn’t make it—but you did.Confidence is a spiritual resource. And the more you call it up, the stronger it gets. Listen to your intuition. Listen to that still small voice and connect with your Higher Self for confidence and direction.Recovering from FailureOf course, even with all the right tools and mindset, failure can still happen. That’s part of life on Earth. The question isn’t “Will I fail?” It’s “What will I do after I fail?”Here are three essential steps:Treat yourself kindly. I don’t mean to let yourself off the hook completely—but don’t beat yourself up either. You wouldn't berate your best friend for trying their best and falling short. Extend that same grace to yourself.Accept your mistakes. Own them. Not as a badge of shame, but as a stepping stone. This is how we learn. This is how we evolve. And learn from it all. Every single mistake holds a message. Look for it. Ask your Higher Self: What am I being shown here? What truth am I now ready to face?Spiritually, failure can be a form of purification. It dissolves pride, it forces our humility, and it invites grace. It's how we come to know what’s really important—and who we really are.If you're afraid of failing right now, let me offer you a new perspective:Maybe the fear is there because your soul needs to grow.Maybe the thing you're afraid of doing is the very thing that will open you up and birth a whole new level of who you are.So, redefine failure. Confront it with courage. And if you fall, fall forward. Rise again. Stronger. Wiser. More connected to the divine spark within you. Thanks for joining me today and if this episode spoke to you, share it with someone who's in the midst of a challenge. And remember—every so-called failure is just part of your path to greatness.Until next time, stay grounded, stay real, and stay spiritually awake—even when it’s politically incorrect to do so. | 5/13/25 | ![]() The Goal that Changed My Life—and the Teacher Who Didn't Get It | Hello and welcome to today’s episode. I’m so glad you’re here with me today, because we’re diving into something that affects every one of us—whether we think we’re “goal-setters” or not. And that is: the difference between setting short-term, achievable goals… and setting major, Soul-level goals that define the trajectory of our lives. Two Pivotal ExperiencesLet me begin by taking you back to two moments that shaped my perspective throughout my life. The first one was when I was attending grade school and when the teacher gave the class an assignment to write out and turn in three wishes if I could have anything at all—no limits.Well, I thought very long and hard to come up with the three things that were most important to me. And this one assignment turned out to actually “set the sail for my life.”I turned in my answers:1) All men know God2) Everyone has perfect health3) There is peace on earthFor me, this pretty much described what I later called “living in a Golden Age on earth.” When the teacher read some of the answers students turned in, I was shocked to hear the mundane answers about wanting a new bicycle or certain clothes, etc., etc. I thought, “surely they didn’t understand the question.”Then later, when I was in my twenties, full of spiritual passion and attending a personal development seminar. At one point, the leader posed this question: “What is the single most important goal you want to achieve in this life?”Well, I took that question seriously too, just as I had the earlier assignment. I thought long and hard about what mattered most. And when it was my turn to answer, I said—without hesitation—“Total spiritual enlightenment.”I’ll never forget the leader’s response. He paused, then said something like,"Well, maybe you should set a goal that’s a little more achievable."At the time, that response stunned me because I felt it was more achievable than three wishes I had in grade school! In my mind, at least I had more control over this goal than one that involved the whole world. But over the years, I’ve come to realize that I wasn’t wrong in either case—I just had a different lens. You see, we live in a world that celebrates immediate results, quick wins, 30-day transformations. And yes, those things have their place. But what about the long game? What about the deep soul goals that aren’t achieved in a month—or even in a decade—maybe not even in a lifetime? That moment in the seminar taught me something. There’s a difference between setting goals that are realistic and time-bound—and setting directional goals, goals that point your compass toward your highest self. You may never “check them off” in the traditional sense, but they guide everything you do.Let’s call these two kinds of goals:One, Short-term targets – Goals that produce tangible, measurable outcomes. “Lose 10 pounds,” “Buy a house,” “Finish the book.”And Number 2, Soul goals – Aspirational, defining, and often lifelong. “Awaken my full spiritual potential.” “Live in alignment with divine purpose.” “Be a vessel for God’s light on Earth,” or “Total spiritual enlightenment.”Soul goals don’t expire. They evolve with you.And here’s the irony: those “unrealistic” goals? They often become the fuel that helps you achieve the smaller, practical goals too. When you’re living with a big vision, the daily grind becomes sacred.Spiritual PerspectiveNow, let’s take it even deeper. From a spiritual perspective, every soul comes into this life with a divine blueprint—a purpose that spans many lifetimes. So, when you feel a calling to set a massive, even otherworldly goal like enlightenment, don’t dismiss it. Honor it. It may not be fully achieved in this one life, but it can define the quality of this life. The ascended masters didn’t achieve their status by playing small. They lived big visions, and they lived them daily, moment by moment. And let me say this clearly: If your goal is “total spiritual enlightenment,” then you’re already on the path. Because it’s not about arriving at some mountaintop moment—it’s about who you become as you walk the path.Practical GuidanceSo, here’s a little exercise for you:List 3 short-term goals that are measurable and time-specific. These keep your momentum going. And then, write down your soul-level goal—the one that sets your heart on fire, even if it feels “unrealistic.” Let it be big. Let it be bold. Let it be yours. Take your time and give it some quality time. Then ask yourself: How can I align my short-term actions with my long-term soul direction? When your short-term goals serve your soul goals, you’re not just accomplishing things—you’re evolving. So, here’s my encouragement to you today:Don’t let the world’s addiction to “achievable” goals rob you of your birthright to dream big.Let your soul speak. Let your Higher Self set the tone.Yes, set goals that pay the bills and build the life you want—but never forget to also set goals that build the you your soul came here to become.Remember, Soul goals don’t expire. They evolve with you. For instance, my life goal has evolved to ascending to permanent reunion with God at the end of this life, becoming an ascended master no longer needing to reincarnate on the earth and to be of much greater service to God and the world from the higher realms. Thanks for joining me today. And if this episode sparked something in you, I’d love to hear about your soul goals you’re setting. Reach out, share your vision, and keep walking that sacred path.Until next time—dream bigger than what’s “achievable.” Because with God, with faith, and with your soul leading the way—all things are possible. | 5/6/25 | ![]() If Today Were Your Last: What Wisdom Would You Leave Behind? | Hello and welcome to today’s episode, and today, I’m inviting you to a quiet moment of reflection. I want to ask you an important question--something that most of us don’t consider often enough:If you knew this was your last chance to speak… what wisdom would you want to leave behind? Please don’t think this is morbid—on the contrary, it’s clarifying. There’s something powerful that happens when we think from the end and work backward. Our lives suddenly come into sharp focus. The petty things fall away and what matters remains. One of my favorite quotes is from Mark Twain. He said:“The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.”That’s what we’re going to explore today: the “why.”Searching for PurposeAll around the world, people are searching. Quietly, sometimes desperately. They’re scrolling through social media, reading books, attending workshops, even going on pilgrimages—all in the hope of answering one haunting question:“Why am I here?”We crave meaning. We want to know that our life matters. That we’re not just here to work, pay bills, and die. That somewhere in the mix of our talents, our heartbreaks, our longings, and our quirks—there’s a purpose. A calling. A passion we were born to fulfill. But so many people feel lost. Or worse—they feel numb. Like they’re just going through the motions. If that’s you, I want to say something directly to your heart:You are not lost. You are becoming. From a spiritual perspective, our ultimate purpose is to fulfill our reason for being and permanently reunite with God. But what about this life? What are you meant to fulfill? Accomplish? Contribute? Master?Meditation is certainly a tool for connecting to the Divine within and receiving wisdom, guidance and purpose. But purpose isn’t always a lightning bolt—it’s can be a quiet unfolding. A sacred breadcrumb trail. Sometimes it whispers before it roars. If This Were My Last Chance…So, if this were my last opportunity to speak into your life, here’s the wisdom I’d want to leave behind:1. You came here for a reason. There is something your soul came to express that no one else can. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else's. Your uniqueness is your purpose.2. Don’t wait for the world to validate your calling. If it burns in your heart, that’s validation enough. Start where you are. Use what you have. Let it be imperfect.3. And Love more freely. If you think you’re being too loving, too forgiving, too open—you’re probably just beginning to scratch the surface of your soul’s power.4. Your presence is healing.Don’t underestimate what your smile, your listening ear, your compassion, your courage can do. You may never see the full impact—but trust me, it’s real.5. Time is precious—but it’s not the enemy. You’re not behind. You haven’t missed your moment. The divine plan unfolds in a perfect timing. Stay present, stay faithful. And if you do feel you need to catch up, then take the time to become quiet, meditate, spend time in nature and let God speak to you.Discovering the WhyLet’s circle back to Mark Twain.“The day you were born…”“And the day you find out why.”If you haven’t yet found your “why,” don’t despair. It might not come all at once. It might come in layers. You might wake up one day and realize that the way you’ve loved your family, the way you’ve encouraged your friends, the way you’ve kept going when everything inside wanted to give up—that was your purpose all along.Purpose isn’t always a career. Sometimes, it’s a vibration. A presence. A quiet service that no one applauds but Heaven sees clearly. So, let me turn the question to you:If you knew this was your last chance to leave your wisdom—what would you say?Think about it. Maybe even write it down. What would you want your children, your friends, or even a stranger to remember? What truth would you want to echo beyond your final breath?Whatever it is… start living it now. Speak it. Embody it. Become the message.Because here’s the secret: When you live as if your words might be your last, you tend to say what really matters. Thanks for sharing this sacred moment with me. Until next time, may you live on purpose, love without limits, and trust the journey—because you’re here for a reason. This is a public episode. | 4/29/25 | ![]() Unplugged and Unburdened: Why Less Is Truly More | Hello and welcome to today’s episode where we are going to explore a transformative movement that's capturing hearts worldwide: the shift towards minimalist living, digital detoxing, and the allure of tiny homes. As our lives become increasingly digital and fast-paced, many are seeking solace in simplicity, nature, and intentional living. So, let’s explore this quiet but powerful revolution that’s taking root all around the world: the return to less.Less noise.Less clutter.Less digital overwhelm. And why it’s becoming more than just a trend, but a profound lifestyle change embraced by everyday individuals and celebrities alike.Let’s be honest — most of us are carrying way too much. Our homes are filled with stuff we don’t use. Our minds are crammed with content we don’t need. And our hearts are often too crowded to even realize what we truly desire.Tech was supposed to simplify our lives — but somewhere along the way, it became the noise we can’t escape. Social media updates, endless emails, ads, notifications... it’s like trying to have a peaceful inner life while standing in the middle of Times Square.Did you know that studies show the average person now checks their phone over 100 times a day? Our attention spans have dropped to less than that of a goldfish. And anxiety, depression, and burnout are skyrocketing. Is it any wonder that more and more people are saying: Enough. Enough with the noise. Enough with the clutter. Enough already!Could reclaiming simplicity be the key to reclaiming your peace, your creativity, and your soul? The Rise of Minimalist Living and Tiny HomesIn recent years, there's been a significant uptick in people downsizing their lives—both physically and digitally. Tiny homes, often ranging from just 100 to 400 square feet, have become symbols of freedom, sustainability, and financial independence. They're not just about living in a smaller space but about embracing a lifestyle that values experiences over possessions. This minimalist approach extends beyond housing. There’s digital detoxing—reducing screen time and unplugging from constant connectivity. This is becoming essential for mental well-being. Together, these shifts represent a collective yearning for a more grounded, intentional way of life. And you just might be surprised by how much less you actually need in your life.Celebrities Embrace the Simple LifeThis movement isn't limited to the general public. Several celebrities have made headlines recently for stepping away from the limelight to embrace simpler, rural lifestyles. For example:Amanda Seyfried, known for her roles in Mean Girls and Mamma Mia!, relocated from Los Angeles to a farm in upstate New York. She describes the move as essential for her mental health, providing privacy, peace, and a more balanced life. Her farm is home to horses, goats, chickens, and other animals, offering her children hands-on experiences with nature and responsibility .Tom Green, the comedian known for his offbeat humor and MTV antics of the Y2K era, has left behind his Hollywood lifestyle after 20 years to embrace a quieter, rural existence on a 150-acre farm in Ontario, Canada. The 53-year-old now lives among chickens, a donkey, and a 1,500-pound mule named Fanny, finding solace in the simplicity of farm life and the proximity to his family.Another example: Adrianne Curry, winner of America's Next Top Model Season 1, left Hollywood to pursue a "normal rural" life in Whitefish, Montana. She now runs her own lifestyle blog from her remote location, embracing a quieter, more grounded existence. These stories highlight a shared desire among individuals, regardless of fame, to reconnect with nature, prioritize mental health, and live more intentionally.I have a story also. Seventeen years ago, my husband and I decided to set up a home in Ecuador where we spend much of our time during the year. It’s definitely minimalist living in beautiful nature and peaceful living. And yet we find after all these years of traveling back and forth, we have accumulated way too much in our Ecuador home. So, we too are feeling the need to reduce the amount of “things” we have accumulated. The Broader Impact and How to Begin Your JourneyThe appeal of minimalist living and digital detoxing lies in the freedom and clarity they offer. By reducing physical and digital clutter, individuals often find increased creativity, improved mental health, and a deeper connection to their surroundings. Now, you certainly don’t have to live in a tiny home, but if you're inspired to embark on this journey, here are a few ways you can begin:* First, Start Small: Begin by decluttering a single room or reducing screen time during meals.* Embrace Nature: Spend time outdoors, even if it's just a daily walk in a local park.* Consider Downsizing: Reflect on your living space and whether a smaller, more efficient home could meet your needs.* Set Digital Boundaries: Set specific times to check emails or social media, allowing for uninterrupted work and personal time.Remember, the goal isn't perfection, but progress towards a life that aligns with your values and brings you peace. So, I want to leave you with this thought today:You don’t have to do it perfectly. You don’t have to become a full-time monk in the mountains. You just have to start.Maybe it’s decluttering one drawer. Maybe it’s turning your phone off an hour earlier tonight.Maybe it’s just asking: What do I really want more of in my life? And then making a decision to make space for that.Thank you for joining me today. As we've seen, the movement towards minimalist living and digital detoxing is more than a trend. It's a response to the complexities of modern life, offering a path to greater fulfillment and balance. If this episode sparked something inside you, I’d love to hear about it!Share it with a friend who's craving more simplicity too, and leave a review, or send me a message about how you’re creating more space for your soul in this busy world.Until next time, stay grounded, stay spacious, and stay true to what matters most. | 4/15/25 | ![]() The War on Gender and the Soul's Identity | Hello and welcome to Spirituality for the Politically Incorrect. If this is your first visit, welcome. Today we're tackling a topic that's as controversial as it is essential: The War on Gender and the Soul's Identity. This isn’t about politics. This isn’t about condemnation. This is about uncovering spiritual truth in a world spinning in confusion. This is about the soul, about divine purpose, and reclaiming the sacredness of how we are created. The Spiritual Nature of GenderLet’s begin with the foundation: Gender is not merely a physical characteristic — it is a divine archetype. Masculine and feminine are cosmic principles. We are created in the image of God — male and female — and that is not a limitation, but a divine blessing. The soul is androgynous in essence but takes embodiment as either male or female for the purpose of spiritual evolution. Each embodiment offers the opportunity to master the expression of either the masculine or feminine aspect of God.In the East, we hear of Shiva and Shakti — divine masculine and feminine forces working in harmony. Similarly, in the West, we see this in the archetypes of Father/Mother God, Alpha and Omega. The balance of these forces is sacred. When distorted, we lose harmony both within and without. The War on Gender — What’s Really Going On?There is a battle being waged — not just on our bodies or our identities — but on our very souls. The confusion and chaos around gender today is not simply cultural or political. It is a spiritual warfare designed to separate us from our divine design.By distorting gender, dark forces seek to fracture the soul’s sense of purpose and embodiment. If we are confused about who we are at a most basic level, how can we fulfill our mission on earth? What we’re witnessing is not progress — it’s fragmentation. And when we normalize the rejection of divine order, we invite spiritual imbalance.Children and teens are especially vulnerable to the powerful influence of trends and social conditioning. In their formative years, they are still discovering who they are — emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. When the culture promotes gender transition as not only acceptable but celebrated, many young people may interpret confusion, discomfort, or a natural phase of self-exploration as a sign they were “born in the wrong body.” Without the maturity to grasp the lifelong consequences — physical, emotional, and spiritual — they can make irreversible decisions in an effort to belong or feel validated. The soul incarnates with intentionality, and when young people are encouraged to alter their embodiment in such a way, they may be diverted from their soul’s path. You are born into a male or female body based on your evolutionary path and the energies you need to master in a particular lifetime. In other words, there is a reason why you are born a certain gender. And while you may not feel comfortable in that particular body, it nevertheless is the body you chose—or your karma dictated—because there are lessons to be learned and energies you must master. What is currently being framed as freedom is often a distraction from deeper healing and self-discovery.Yes, it’s important to acknowledge that a small percentage of individuals are born with both male and female physical characteristics — a condition known as intersex. These cases are rare and represent unique biological circumstances. However, the existence of intersex individuals should not be used as a blanket justification to promote gender changes across the general population. To do so confuses compassion with ideology and risks leading many away from their divine purpose rather than toward it.Compassion Without CompromiseWe must hold compassion for those experiencing gender dysphoria or questioning their identity. Many carry soul trauma, unresolved karma, or past-life wounds that express through this confusion. But compassion must not be confused with agreement. As Jesus the Christ said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Real freedom comes from alignment with divine truth — not from appeasing social trends. It’s possible to love someone deeply and still stand for the spiritual law. The soul must be affirmed in its wholeness, not its fragmentation.Reclaiming Soul IdentitySo how do we reclaim the soul’s true identity?* Spend time in silence. Meditate and ask your Higher Self: Who am I beyond the noise?* Call for the balancing of the masculine and feminine within: “Beloved I AM Presence, anchor the divine masculine and divine feminine rays in perfect balance within me.”* Work on your own psychology to increase your sense of adequacy and refrain from self-criticism.* Study the teachings of the ascended masters who have many tools to help you. Mother Mary said, “In accepting the body you are given, you embrace the will of God and the specific initiations of this life.”Your embodiment is not an accident. Your gender is not random. It is a sacred tool of your soul. This isn’t just a conversation about gender. It’s a wake-up call to remember who you really are — a son or daughter of God created in divine intelligence, on a mission to master love in form.I invite you to sit with this message, not just in your mind, but in your heart. What part of your soul is ready to come home to truth? Thanks for joining me. Until next time — stay strong, stay grounded, and stay aligned with your divine identity. This is a public episode. | 4/8/25 | ![]() Sanctuaries at Home: The Rise of Wellness Spaces and Spiritual Connection | Hello and welcome back to Spirituality for the Politically Incorrect where we explore the journey of spiritual evolution, inner truth, and living with conscious purpose. Today we’re diving into a quiet revolution happening in homes across the world: the rise of wellness spaces. No, I’m not talking about “safe spaces,” but wellness spaces—sanctuaries for self-care, spiritual renewal, and soul alignment. What Do I Mean By Wellness Spaces?Well, you’ve probably seen them on Pinterest or Instagram—nooks with crystals, meditation cushions, diffusers glowing with calming oils, or entire rooms designed for yoga, breathwork, or prayer. But this is about more than just aesthetics. This popular trend signals a cultural shift. People are reclaiming their space—not just physically, but energetically. Our homes are no longer just places to sleep or eat, but sacred grounds where we recalibrate, reconnect, and remember who we really are.Why Now? The Cultural & Spiritual ContextYou might ask, “Why is this happening now?” Well, it’s certainly not new. You yourself may already have a space set aside in your home for meditation or prayer. But this is a popular topic trending right now. There’s growing disillusionment with traditional institutions—religious and otherwise. We see at the same time that there's an expanding hunger for inner peace and spiritual connection. Now, many do find this in a church, temple or synagogue setting where you have a shared experience with those of like mind. But, let’s face it, there are many people who will never go to a church or place of worship yet still are spiritual. We are definitely in the age of personalization, where people are awakening to spirituality as an inward journey whether you share the experience with others or whether you create a specific sacred space in your home.In many ways, these home sanctuaries are modern altars—a space to return to yourself and, by extension, to the Divine. You could say this trend is part of a larger homecoming—back to the soul. The Psychology of Sacred SpaceStudies show our environments directly influence our mood, focus, and well-being. Creating a designated space for spiritual practice or stillness—however small—tells your subconscious, “This matters.” It becomes a ritual of honoring your inner life.So How Do You Create a Sacred Space in Your Home?* Well, you could simply convert a corner of your room with just a place to sit comfortably, a candle, and a journal. Or you can use a closet, an attic or any space that is vacant or could be made vacant.* You can use scent to anchor your practices, such as incense or essential oils.* You can place meaningful items—pictures, a spiritual text, a quote that realigns you, or a list of affirmations and decrees you wish to speak.* You can have a source for meditative music if that helps you get into the meditative state. The Modern Temple WithinRemember, this current trend is to remind us that the sacred is already here—it’s within you. And your physical space can either support or distract from that truth. You don’t need to seek out a monastery or go to the mountaintop to meet God. The kingdom of God is within you and your “temple” might just be in the corner of your living room. How Do You Make Your Entire Home a Sanctuary? So let’s talk about how you can make your entire home a sanctuary. You can transform your entire home, including the boundaries of your property, into a sacred sanctuary by consciously invoking divine protection and radiating the energy of your Higher Self—your I AM Presence, the God within you. Each day, take a moment to stand in your space, or anywhere in your home, and call forth the pure spiritual energy, the dazzling white light of the I AM Presence, to fill every room. Visualize it cleansing and charging the atmosphere, infusing your home with light, love, and the protective presence of the angels. Follow this with visualizing each space with the violet transmuting flame of joy filling every room. You can affirm something like: “I AM the living light of God in this home. Only that which is of Divine Love, Peace, and Harmony may enter or remain.” You can also bless those who come into your space by declaring, “I AM the pure radiance of Divine Love surrounding and uplifting all who enter here.”This spiritual “garment” of light not only protects your home but offers comfort and healing to your guests—wrapping them in a sustaining energy that remains with them even after they leave. When practiced consistently, your home becomes more than just a refuge—it becomes a living temple of spiritual power and peace. So, as you look around your home, ask yourself:“What would it look like to create a space that reflects the peace I’m seeking?”It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be intentional. Thanks for tuning in today. If you’ve created a wellness space of your own, or you’re inspired to start, I’d love to hear about it. Leave a comment on the episode page, and as always—keep the flame lit and stay true to your journey. Blessings. This is a public episode. | 4/1/25 | ![]() When the World Mocks Prayer—We Keep Praying | Hello everyone and welcome to today’s episode where we dive deeply into an important topic: The Power of Prayer. In our nation today, the role of prayer in society has become a point of growing controversy. While many see prayer as a vital expression of compassion, hope, and spiritual responsibility, others dismiss or even ridicule it—especially in the aftermath of public tragedies. When leaders or individuals say, “Our thoughts and prayers are with you,” some respond with sarcasm or outrage, claiming that prayer is a passive or empty gesture. But for those who understand its power, prayer is not a substitute for action—it is the first and most essential action. It connects us to divine wisdom and strength, guides our next steps, and invites the intervention of a loving God in the darkest of circumstances.Making light of prayer may reflect a culture that has lost touch with the sacred, but for those of us who know the power of prayer, we understand that it is a lifeline of healing, power and real change.Awhile back I came across a video on Youtube from "The Rosary Series” entitled “The Power of One Hail Mary." This is a remarkable story that illustrates the profound impact a single prayer can have. It recounts the story of John, a jogger who, upon seeing an ambulance outside a home, offered a simple Hail Mary for the unknown individual inside.Days later, while jogging in the same neighborhood, a woman approached him, expressing gratitude for saving her life, which he immediately said that she had the wrong person because he didn’t even know her. However, she explained that during a critical moment when her life was on the line, she had a vision of Jesus who showed her John's face and told her that because of his simple prayer, which John said he would recite whenever he came upon an ambulance or accident, spared her life. This was a transformative experience, not only for the woman whose life was spared, but for John also. This remarkable event is a real-life demonstration of the significance of intercessory prayer, and the unexpected ways divine intervention can manifest through our sincere petitions. Whether you’ve been praying your whole life or are just beginning to explore what it means, today’s episode will give you fresh insight, encouragement, and practical ways to deepen your connection with God through prayer. And praying is not limited to any one religion or belief system. God is available to all of us.So let’s begin with Paul’s instruction to the early Church in Ephesians 6:18:“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” (KJV)Here, Paul is reminding us that prayer comes in many forms—and each has its unique purpose and power. So let’s look at several distinct types of prayer that can enrich your spiritual life:1. You Can Talk to GodThis, of course, is the most personal and conversational kind of prayer. It’s a heart-to-heart with God—sharing your needs, your joys, your struggles, and your gratitude. Like talking to a close friend who knows you deeply.2. You can Offer Praise and ThanksgivingIn these moments, you come before God simply to praise Him—to thank Him for who He is and what He has done. Praise opens the gates of heaven. Gratitude shifts your heart and invites God’s presence into your life. Now you may think you have nothing to be grateful for, but consider that you are alive and are reading this article, no matter what challenges you may be facing. If you can’t think of anything, simply be thankful for the healing sunshine or the cleansing rain, or a member of your family or a friend, or your pet. There is always something you can be grateful for, even if it is just for life itself. Because as long as you are alive, You can change. 3. You Can Request God’s PowerThis is when you bring specific needs to God—whether it’s healing, or need for abundance, guidance, or help in crisis. You are asking for His divine intervention and trust in His perfect timing.4. You Can Seek His WillSometimes prayer is not about asking, but listening. You come with an open heart, asking, “Lord, what is Your will for my life?” You pray for discernment and surrender, trusting He’ll lead you step-by-step.5. Then there is Intercessory PrayerThis is a call for immediate intercession—praying fervently for someone else, often with deep emotional investment. You stand in the gap for another soul in need. In my previous example of jogger John, he stood in the gap for another soul in need, even though he did not know the person he was praying for.6. Then there is Spiritual WarfareThis is bold, authoritative prayer using the name of Jesus to resist evil and break spiritual strongholds. It's not aggressive but resolute. As Jesus said, “Resist the devil and he will flee.” (James 4:7)But even here, we must remember the example of the archangel Michael, who said, “The Lord rebuke you,” when contending with Satan. (See Zechariah 3:2) Authority in spiritual warfare comes from the Lord, the Christ within Jesus, the Christ within you, and the Mighty I AM Presence who is your Source, not from your own human strength.7. Decrees: A Divine Method of PrayerNow, let’s talk about something many believers overlook—decrees as a powerful form of prayer.Job 22:28 says:“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (KJV)Decreeing is a bold declaration of God’s Word and will, spoken with faith and spiritual authority. It is different from asking. It is commanding, in God’s name, what already belongs to us as children of God into manifestation. When you decree, you're aligning with heaven’s purposes and establishing them on earth. Think of it as a prophetic proclamation. Jesus said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, ‘Be removed,’ and it shall be done.”From The Afterlife Youtube channel, Alice Carter, a respiratory therapist, powerfully recounts her near-death experience where she was clinically dead for 7 minutes and 42 seconds. When she left her body, she traveled to the heavenly realms and was instructed by a being named Gabriel, who we would know as Archangel Gabriel. It is a fascinating account and she received deep instruction regarding prayer and its effectiveness. One of the things Gabriel explained to her was that prayer “is not just asking for things. It's participating in the fundamental creative force of the universe. When humans pray, they're not merely sending requests to Heaven. They're actually engaging with the quantum fabric of reality." So what can you decree?* God’s promises for healing, provision, protection* Breakthroughs in your life or someone else’s* The binding of evil and the loosing of heaven’s will on earthYou can decree things like this: “The peace of God rules in my heart.” “Healing flows through my body.” “The doors of opportunity open for God’s purpose to unfold in my life.”Please note, that all of these statements are set in the present tense, declaring that they are so.You can also use the decrees that Jesus himself spoke, declaring the power of God in you:“I AM the Resurrection and the Life.”“I AM the Light of the World.”Always remember, when you say I AM, even when you are in normal conversation, you are calling upon God within you to create whatever you follow those two words with. So our words are important and they are powerful. Decreeing must always be grounded in the Will of God and spoken with a heart in tune with His Spirit. It is an expression of your spiritual inheritance. So Why Is Prayer So Important?Because prayer is your lifeline to God. It’s how you grow closer to Him and how He moves through you.“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16)It’s powerful. It changes things. Through prayer, you invite God to intervene in your life, in your family and community, and even the world. There is no limit.“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” (Jeremiah 33:3)Prayer brings salvations, miracles, wisdom, and boldness. It awakens hearts and transforms situations.Let me leave you with this thought: Prayer is not a religious obligation—it’s a spiritual lifeline. It brings heaven into your heart and into your world. | 3/25/25 | ![]() The Art of Not Taking It Personally: How to Stay Centered Around Difficult People | Introduction:Hello, dear listeners, and welcome back to another episode of Spirituality for the Politically Incorrect. In today’s world, many people are experiencing immense challenges. Whether it’s global changes, social unrest, or personal hardships, the shifting energies of our time can bring out the best—and sometimes the worst—in people. As emotions run high and tensions increase, you may find yourself encountering more rudeness, impatience, or outright nastiness than ever before. But how should you respond? Should you retaliate? Ignore?Or is there another way to handle these situations—one that allows you to maintain your dignity while also fostering greater understanding? Today, we’ll explore the practical ways to deal with difficult people while keeping your composure and grace intact. So, let’s get right into It.No one really enjoys dealing with rude or spiteful people. Our immediate instinct is often to avoid them altogether. However, that’s not always possible—especially if the difficult person is a coworker, your boss, a family member, or a customer. Since avoidance isn’t always an option, how can you respond in a way that preserves your inner peace and self-respect?Responding vs. ReactingWell, let’s begin with a clear understanding of the difference between responding vs. reacting.Responding and reacting to a negative encounter may seem similar, but they are very different. Reacting is often immediate, emotional, and impulsive driven by defensiveness, frustration, anger, or hurt, and it usually escalates the situation rather than resolving it.Responding, on the other hand, involves a conscious choice. It requires pausing, assessing the situation objectively, and choosing words or actions that align with dignity and self-control. A response is thoughtful and intentional, aiming for resolution rather than striking back. By choosing to respond rather than react, you maintain your inner peace and prevent unnecessary conflict.Spiritual PerspectiveNow, from a spiritual perspective, responding comes from a place of “centeredness,” of having a certain level of mastery over your emotions. Think of the concept of “pushing your buttons,” These “buttons” are usually triggering areas in our psychology or past experiences where we feel we have to defend ourselves.Probably the greatest teaching I have heard on mastering our emotions is from the master Saint Germain. He says that we should never be surprised, disappointed or hurt. Now, I know, that sounds like a tall order. And there are people who say, “I’m human. I have emotions. I don’t want to deny them.”But controlling your emotions is not the same as denying or “stuffing” them. Rather, it is, again, being centered in your Higher Self, the spiritual part of you that isn’t surprised, disappointed or hurt. Now it doesn’t mean that you feel nothing. Rather it means that when one of these emotions arise, you do not embrace it. You don’t wallow in your disappointment or hurt or surprise. You acknowledge the hurt or disappointment or surprise but remain, or move back into, your centeredness. Now, has the majority of humanity mastered this? No, but if you are on a spiritual path, you definitely want to strive to stay at one with your Higher Self—God within you.So, let’s break it down like this, with a step-by-step analysis of what you can do when someone is being difficult, nasty or verbally attacking you in some way.Know that it’s Okay to Ask What’s WrongConsider that sometimes, a person’s rudeness isn’t personal. They may be overwhelmed, stressed, or dealing with private struggles. By calmly and compassionately asking if they’re okay, you might shift the energy of the situation. It reminds me of a story I heard a man tell of how he was riding a transit in one of the cities and another man who was with three children was in the same car with him. The children were acting out, being loud and obnoxious, running around clearly bothering others, and the father seemed unphased. He just sat there and didn’t do anything to curtail their behavior. The man telling the story was thinking what a poor father this man was—not disciplining his children when they were clearly disturbing others. So, he had had enough and he confronted the father—in a gentle but direct way—and the father immediately apologized. He said that the children had just lost their mother in the hospital, and they were having a really hard time coping with it. And of course, that meant the father had just lost his wife. So, we never really know what someone might be facing to cause negative or rude reactions.Of course, this doesn’t mean excusing bad behavior. But showing genuine concern can sometimes help the person become aware of their own actions and spare you from judging a situation that may not be as it appears. In other words, genuinely asking in order to help is an example of responding rather than reacting.Stay Objective and ask yourself, “Is the Nastiness Worth a Response?”Before reacting, take a step back. Ask yourself: Is what they’re saying or doing actually worth engaging with? Many times, rudeness is not even about you—it’s a reflection of another’s inner turmoil. Responding in kind only escalates the negativity. Instead, by viewing the situation objectively, you can decide whether it even deserves your energy.Be Careful not to add Fuel to the FireReacting with anger or aggression will only intensify the conflict. If someone is dramatic or intentionally rude, the best thing you can do is remain calm and refuse to be dragged into their emotional storm. Maintaining your dignity is far more powerful than engaging in unnecessary conflict.Rather, Address the Issue with a Calm ConversationIf rudeness persists, it’s okay to address it. Calmly ask the person if they realize how their words or actions are affecting you. Sometimes, they may not even be aware. If they care, they will likely adjust their behavior. If they don’t, that tells you everything you need to know about how close you want to be with them in the future.Lead with Kindness (Even When It’s Hard)This may sound counterintuitive, but kindness can be incredibly disarming. When faced with someone’s negativity, responding with patience and understanding can sometimes soften their approach. While this doesn’t work in every situation, and you shouldn’t tolerate continued mistreatment, being a role model for dignity can sometimes inspire change in the other person. Remember, you can’t change anyone else, but you can change yourself. Your reactions can inspire change in others. If Necessary, Avoid ToxicitySometimes, the best response is no response. If a person continually treats you with disrespect and shows no willingness to change, it may be best to step away.Remember, your energy and peace of mind are precious. Protecting yourself from negativity isn’t avoidance—it’s self-care.Don’t Gossip About the SituationNow it can be tempting to vent about a rude person to others, but this often does more harm than good. Gossip can escalate tensions and reflect poorly on you. Instead, if the situation needs addressing, go directly to the appropriate people—whether that’s an HR department, a manager, or a trusted mentor or counselor. However, if someone’s behavior crosses the line into bullying or harassment, speaking up to the right authorities is crucial.Life definitely presents us with many opportunities to practice patience, wisdom, and grace. Responding to rudeness with dignity doesn’t mean being weak—it means choosing strength through composure. Every difficult encounter is a chance to reinforce the kind of person you want to be.So, the next time you face rudeness, take a deep breath, stay objective, and remember: your response defines you, not them.Thank you for being with me today. | 3/18/25 | ![]() Forgiveness Is Not Weakness—It’s Your Greatest Strength | Hello and welcome to Spirituality for the Politically Incorrect. In today’s episode, we’re diving deep into the transformative power of forgiveness—what it truly is and, just as importantly, what it is not. Many people struggle with the concept of forgiveness, seeing it as unfair or even dangerous. But what if I were to say that forgiveness is the key to your own spiritual and emotional liberation? Would you believe it?Well, let’s begin with what forgiveness Is Not: There are many misconceptions about forgiveness, and before we can truly understand its power, we must clear away these misunderstandings:First, forgiveness is not about excusing or justifying another person’s actions. Many people resist forgiveness because they feel it lets the offender off the hook. But in truth, forgiveness does not absolve them of responsibility. Even if the person accepts responsibility and apologizes, your pain remains unless you choose to release it. Forgiveness is about you—your peace, your healing, and your future.Neither does forgiveness mean staying in a toxic or harmful relationship. Some people fear that forgiving means they must continue interacting with someone who has hurt them. You are not obligated to remain in a relationship with someone who is abusive, or manipulative, or emotionally toxic. You can forgive, release the burden of anger, and still set healthy boundaries.Forgiveness does not mean trusting someone who has repeatedly betrayed you. Some individuals, whether due to addiction or personality disorders, are incapable of consistently honoring trust. Recognizing this truth does not mean condoning their behavior, but it does mean protecting yourself. Forgiveness allows you to release resentment, but wisdom helps you maintain healthy boundaries. And most importantly, forgiveness is not weakness—it is power. Holding onto anger is easy; it takes true strength to forgive. When you choose to forgive, you reclaim your energy from the past and reinvest it in the present. Now let’s look at what forgiveness truly Is: “For giving.” Giving it up. From a spiritual perspective, forgiveness is a sacred alchemy that allows you to transmute past wounds into light. It is your conscious decision to let go of resentment, not because the other person deserves it, but because you deserve peace.A marvelous spiritual tool is the Violet Flame—a spiritual “fire,” a frequency of energy that dissolves negative karma and frees the soul from the chains of past hurts. When you forgive, you align yourself with divine grace and accelerate your spiritual evolution. So how do you practice forgiveness?Well, begin by acknowledging what “is.” Acknowledge the pain. Pretending it doesn’t hurt only suppresses emotions. Be honest with your feelings. But then, understand that forgiveness is for you. It’s not about them—it’s about freeing yourself.Affirm your release. A simple yet powerful affirmation: I choose to release all resentment. I am free, and I set others free.Use the Violet Flame. Visualize a purifying light dissolving the negativity and the energetic imprint of the event. Surround yourself and all those involved in the situation with the violet light. Use the mantra: I AM the violet flame, victorious and free. One with God I AM for all eternity.Set boundaries. Forgiveness does not mean allowing continued harm. Choose relationships that nurture your soul.As we close, take a moment to reflect and even write down your responses.* What is your greatest fear about forgiving someone who hurt you deeply? Choose one situation to focus on and dig deep and be honest with your feelings.* What would it feel like to let go of that burden? This is an important step. If you seriously imagine not feeling those feelings, you will begin to see that you can experience freedom and you do not have to be a victim of your own emotions. As already mentioned, acknowledge the hurt, process it and be willing to let it go. Simple, but not always easy. But that’s where your decision to do so comes in with the help of spiritual practices such as the violet flame.* So the final question is, are you ready to take that step forward?Remember, forgiveness is a journey, not a one-time event. But each step brings greater peace and light into your life.If today’s episode spoke to you, share it with someone who may need it. And remember—true freedom lies in your power to forgive. Thanks for joining me today. Until next time, walk in grace, light, and the healing power of love. This is a public episode. | 3/11/25 | ![]() Change Your Life in 30 Days – A Practical Plan | Hello again and welcome back to the podcast. If you've been following along, you know we've been diving deep into the theme of change—why it’s necessary, how to make it happen, and what gets in the way. And remember, the importance of the power of decision from my last podcast.Today, though, I want to shift gears a bit and give you something super practical: a step-by-step plan to make a real change in just 30 days.Yes, it’s totally possible, and I’m going to show you how!Why 30 Days?Think about it—we’ve all done little 30-day challenges before, whether it was trying a new diet, committing to an exercise routine, or even just giving up TV for a while. Even if we don’t stick with it forever, the results are usually worth it. So, imagine if we took that same principle and applied it to multiple areas of our lives all at once. That’s where the magic happens.Today, I’m going to walk you through a plan that will help you create new habits, eliminate distractions, and truly transform different areas of your life—all in just 30 days. Here it is:Step 1: Choose Your 30-Day ChallengesLet’s break it down into different categories. I recommend picking one challenge from each category, but feel free to customize this to fit your life. And remember, you might want to start small in some areas while maybe going bigger in other areas. Don’t overwhelm yourself and end up quitting midway because it is too hard or complicated to do all at once. Here are the categories:1. Adjust Your Finances – Maybe you need to cut back on spending, or start tracking every dollar, or set a savings goal. Whatever you choose to do, commit to it for 30 days.As an example, if you have debt that you have been trying to eliminate but somehow it just doesn’t seem to go away, try tracking every dollar. Yes, I know this sounds like way too much work and no fun at all. But this is exactly what I did when nothing else worked for me. I used Dave Ramsey’s free app Every Dollar. Once you get the system set up so that it works for you, you establish a rhythm and it goes pretty smoothly.2. Boost Your Physical Health – Whether it’s exercising daily, drinking more water, or committing to a clean-eating plan, pick one health-related habit to focus on.3. Eliminate a Time-Waster – We all have them! Maybe it’s binge-watching Netflix, scrolling endlessly on social media, or playing video games. Identify your biggest time-waster and replace it with something better.4. Add a Positive Activity – Now that you’ve freed up some time, add something enriching. Maybe you want to read for 30 minutes a day, or start journaling, or learn a new skill.5. Commit to Something That Excites You – Maybe it’s getting outdoors more, or decluttering your home, or sticking to a bedtime routine. Choose something that would make your life better and give it a try.Step 2: Set Yourself Up for SuccessNow that you’ve got your challenges, let’s talk about how to actually stick with them. Because let’s be honest—change isn’t always easy. Here are some key tips:1. Get Enough Sleep – No matter what else you’re changing, if you’re running on fumes, everything will feel harder. Aim for 7-8 hours a night.2. Make It Daily – The best way to build a habit is through daily repetition. If you try to do something only three times a week, it’s much harder to make it stick.3. Prepare Ahead of Time – Set yourself up for success by removing obstacles. If you’re committing to eating healthier, stock your fridge with good food and get rid of the junk. If you’re working out daily, lay out your clothes the night before. Whatever you have chosen to do, identify and remove any obstacles you foresee could get in the way.4. Find Support – Tell a friend or family member who will encourage you. But be careful who you share your goals with because people sometimes unintentionally sabotage others just by being negative or dismissive. If you do choose to have support, be sure it is positive support.Step 3: Expect Resistance & Push ThroughHere’s where the first step of making a decision as discussed in the last episode comes in.Here’s the thing—when you start changing multiple aspects of your life, it’s going to feel uncomfortable at times. If you’re giving up TV and junk food, you might realize those things were coping mechanisms for stress. Without them, you’ll need to face challenges head-on rather than distract yourself. But that’s actually a good thing! It means you’re growing. The key is to push through those moments of resistance and remember why you started.Step 4: Track Your Progress & Celebrate Wins* Keep a simple journal or checklist to track your daily progress. It can be very helpful to have a list of your commitments and check them off each day once you have accomplished them.* Celebrate small wins—acknowledge when you complete a full week or hit a milestone.* If you slip up, don’t quit! Just get back on track the next day.So, are you ready to take on this 30-day challenge? Imagine how different your life could be a month from now if you commit to just a few positive changes. You don’t have to do everything perfectly—just stay consistent and keep moving forward. You got this!I’d love to hear what challenges you choose and how it’s going for you. Reach out and share your progress! Until next time, keep striving, keep growing, and keep believing in yourself. Thanks for tuning in, and I’ll catch you in the next episode! This is a public episode.
