# NORTHERN AND CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST Good evening, this is your Northern and Central California Surf Forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, April 29th and 30th, 2026. Let's start with Sonoma and Marin County coastal areas. Wednesday is shaping up to be a solid day for the northwest facing beaches with four to seven foot surf expected. If you prefer smaller waves, the southwest facing breaks will see two to four footers. Conditions stay partly cloudy throughout the day with highs ranging from 53 to 71 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate out of the northwest, starting at 13 miles per hour and bumping up to 16 by afternoon. The tides will provide a low of point one feet early in the morning around 4:54 AM, followed by a high of 4.4 feet at mid-morning. Expect another low at 1.4 feet in the afternoon before the tide peaks again at 5.7 feet late evening. Thursday brings even better conditions for northwest facing beaches with five to eight foot surf. South facing breaks will stay in the two to four foot range. Winds ease slightly to a steady 14 miles per hour from the northwest, and it remains partly cloudy with highs between 54 and 72 degrees.
