Of course, we have the typical culprits such as processed food, saturated fat, and sugar getting the brunt of the attention. But, depending on where you look, you can find things like grains, red meat, and dairy receiving similar treatment. Furthermore, there are even some circles that recommend avoiding fruits and vegetables. You may be thinking, if all of these foods are bad, what am I supposed to eat? You see, right there is the problem. Foods shouldn't be classified as good or bad. Food is food. Everything we eat is simply broken down into calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Of course, some foods should make up more of our diet than others, but any food can be part of a quality nutrition protocol. Understanding flexible dieting is really the difference between principles and methods. A flexible diet is not really a diet.
