| 10/14/26 | You Don't Have to Feel Like It | How often do you find yourself waiting until you feel like doing something you've already decided matters to you?I'm asking because I do it, too.In fact, I recorded this episode after missing a week of podcasting and finding myself completely uninspired about what to talk about. So we're having this conversation while I'm actually practicing what I'm teaching. We don't have to feel motivated, excited, or inspired to follow through on the things we've decided are important. Sometimes we just need to be willing. In this episode, we're talking about:Why not feeling like it doesn't mean anything has gone wrongHow to acknowledge your feelings without letting them make your decisionsUsing true and helpful thoughts to move through resistanceCreating minimum baselines you can follow through on consistentlyWhy consistency comes before intensityDoing things from a place of love, not self-criticismBuilding trust in yourself through small, repeated actionsI'm also sharing my own very small commitment involving my morning coffee, a glass of water, and ten squats.Your invitation: What's one thing you've already decided matters to you? What's the smallest version of that action you're willing to commit to doing consistently, even when you don't feel like it?Scriptures mentioned: Galatians 6:9, James 1:22, and Colossians 3:23.Podcast resource: Get my free habit tracker through the link in the show notes or by subscribing to my Substack.Life coaching is life-changing, one renewed thought at a time.Connect with Shannashannapyzer.comSubstack: https://substack.com/@coachshannapInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/coachshannap/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/swyacweYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@coachshannapImplement & Steadfast Information: https://shannapyzer.com/businesscoachingFind mentioned podcast resources here:https://coachshannap.myflodesk.com/podresources | 33m 52s | ||||||
| 9/30/26 | What’s Getting in the Way of Your Goals? | You probably already know at least some of what it takes to create the result or change you want. So why aren't you doing it consistently? In this episode, we're talking about some of the things that get in the way of achieving our goals, and sometimes the problem isn't that we need another plan.Maybe you're pursuing a goal you think you should want instead of something you actually want.Maybe you aren't clear about what you're trying to accomplish or what it will take to get there.Maybe you're trying to do too much.Maybe you're waiting to feel motivated.Maybe the way you're thinking about yourself is keeping you from taking action.Or maybe you simply haven't followed through consistently long enough to create evidence that what you're doing is working. We'll talk about each of these and some questions you can ask yourself when you aren't making the progress you want.I also share how these same principles apply when you're building a coaching business and how I can help through IMPLEMENT and Steadfast.Resources mentioned in this episode:• Download the free Goal Setting + Overcoming Obstacles Worksheet in the Podcast Resources.https://coachshannap.myflodesk.com/podresources• Learn more about IMPLEMENT, my high-touch, short-term coaching option for coaches who are ready to put the pieces together and get to work.https://shannapyzer.com/businesscoaching• Learn more about Steadfast, my ongoing coaching community for support, accountability, implementation, and consistency.https://shannapyzer.com/businesscoaching• Join me on Substack for more teaching and resources.Life coaching is life-changing, one renewed thought at a time. | 29m 26s | ||||||
| 9/23/26 | What I’m Loving Right Now: A Reentry Week Favorites Episode | Sometimes you need a plan. And sometimes you just need to wing it.After spending five weeks with my grandson, I’m back home, getting back into the rhythm of work, life, planning, podcasting, and all the things. I had another episode planned for this week, but this felt more fun and more fitting for where I am right now.So today, I’m sharing some of the things I am genuinely loving lately. We’re talking about everything from the ChatGPT-generated lists helping me get my brain and business organized again, to devotionals, my planner, a beautiful coloring book, getting back into my physical Bible, and a few completely random things that are making everyday life a little better.I’m also sharing a few of those little moments that remind me that God sees us, hears us, and is present in the details of our lives. In this episode:How I’m approaching a full reentry week after five weeks with my grandsonHow I used ChatGPT to prioritize everything I wanted to accomplishSome of my favorite things right nowWhy I’m loving physical books, handwritten Scripture, and all things “analog” right nowAnd the reminder that there is a rhythm to our lives, and sometimes we can simply learn to move with itThis one is a little different. No big teaching outline. No perfectly packaged lesson. Just a conversation about what I’m loving, what’s helping me, and what God has been reminding me of lately. And honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what we need.Join my Substack Workshop Here: https://coachshannap.myflodesk.com/bocsept2026Favorites mentioned with my affiiliate links:Color Me Worthy by Bobbi Smith: https://link.amazon/B0hcWeUnHJesus Listens by Sarah Young: https://link.amazon/B0eXEp21LSacred Work by Lisa Joy Thompson: https://link.amazon/B02ZqLK4hMy Self-Care as Stewardship devotional: https://link.amazon/B0aTjo1EsGetting back into my Life on Purpose Planner: https://link.amazon/B07M2E3im | 16m 25s | ||||||
| 9/9/26 | Renew Your Mind: Remember, Believe, Live | We hear “renew your mind” all the time as Christians. But what does that actually look like on a regular Tuesday?Renewing your mind isn't about repeating a mantra you hope you'll eventually believe or replacing every negative thought with something positive. It's intentionally reminding yourself of what God says is true, choosing to believe His Word over the thoughts and beliefs that compete with it, and learning to live in alignment with that truth. In this episode, I'm taking Romans 12:2 from something we know we're supposed to do and bringing it into everyday life. We're talking about a simple practice:Remember. Believe. Live.Remember what God says.Believe what He says, even when another thought is competing for your attention. Then ask what it looks like to actually live from that belief today.I'm also sharing two practical tools I use regularly: my planner and journaling. My planner helps me intentionally remind myself of God's truth and who I want to be because of what He says. Journaling helps me uncover the thoughts and beliefs that may actually be driving my actions without me realizing it.In this episode, we talk about:• Why renewing your mind is different from positive thinking• Why knowing God's Word and living as though you believe it aren't always the same thing• How to recognize beliefs that are competing with what God says• Why your actions and patterns can give you clues about what you're believing• How journaling can help uncover the thoughts underneath your behavior• Why finding a lie isn't an opportunity to shame yourself• How to take thoughts captive and examine them under the authority of Scripture• How I use my Life on Purpose Planner to intentionally remind myself of God's truth• What it looks like to move from knowing the Word to actually living from itYou don't have to believe every thought your brain gives you.Notice it. Get curious about it. Bring it under the authority of God's Word. Remind yourself of what God says and that you believe Him.Then ask:What does living from this truth look like today? This is a practice. We remind ourselves because we're human and we forget.Remember. Believe. Live.Life coaching is life-changing, one renewed thought at a time.💜 Next Steps:Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! | 8/12/26 | From Interested to Invested: Renewing Your Mind | Have you ever known what Scripture says, believed it, and still struggled to live like it was true? For years, I could quote Romans 12:2 and tell you that transformation comes through renewing your mind. But I did not fully understand what renewing my mind looked like in everyday life. I was repeating the verse while also repeating thoughts about myself that contradicted what God said.In this episode, we are continuing the conversation about being interested versus invested by looking at what it means to become invested in transformation. We will talk about:• What it means to renew your mind• Why noticing your thoughts matters• How familiar thoughts can begin to feel like facts• What it looks like to take a thought captive• How to determine whether a thought is both true and helpful• The difference between renewing your mind and forcing positive thinking• How your thoughts influence your emotions, actions, and results• Why transformation requires practice, not perfectionYou do not have to change every thought today. Start by noticing one thought you have been rehearsing and ask yourself: Is this completely true? Is it helpful? Does it agree with God’s Word? What is it producing in my life?Transformation does not happen because we know the right verse. It happens as we learn to live it, one renewed thought at a time.Schedule your Right Fit Call here: https://calendar.app.google/tXBknwvpsQvB1xXx7 | 27m 33s | ||||||
| 8/5/26 | Interested or Invested? Part 2: What Happens After You Decide | Last week we talked about the difference between being interested in something and being truly invested in it.This week, we're taking the next step. What do you actually do once you've decided you're ready to commit? In this episode, I'm sharing what that looked like for me as I made the decision to recommit to my own health and wellness journey after realizing I had slowly shifted from being committed... to simply being interested.I'm walking you through the exact practices I'm putting back into place, why mindset matters just as much as the plan itself, and how to build habits that don't just help you reach a goal, but help you become the woman who naturally lives that way.If you've been stuck starting over, waiting for motivation, or wondering why you can't seem to stay consistent, I think this conversation will encourage you.In this episode we talk about:• What happens after you decide to commit• Why your practices matter more than your intentions• How to create habits you'll actually want to keep• The importance of reminding yourself why it matters• Shifting your mindset from restriction to excitement• Building a life that naturally supports the woman you're becomingYou don't need a perfect plan. You need a decision... and the willingness to practice it one day at a time.Connect with Shannashannapyzer.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/coachshannap/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/spcswyaFind mentioned podcast resources here:https://coachshannap.myflodesk.com/podresourcesGet your copy of the Self-Care As Stewardship Devotional:https://amzn.to/4oG4nQxGet Your 90-Day Live on Purpose Planner:https://amzn.to/3N8frYdSchedule your Right Fit Call: https://calendar.app.google/fKky1WSUhofxu4hB8 | 25m 00s | ||||||
| 7/29/26 | The Difference Between Being Interested vs. Invested | Have you ever wondered why you know exactly what to do... but you just aren't doing it?Maybe you've told yourself you're committed to getting healthier, growing your faith, improving your marriage, building your business, or finally following through on that goal. But what if the issue isn't that you lack discipline? What if you're simply interested... not invested? In this episode, we're exploring one powerful distinction that has completely changed the way I coach myself and others. When we confuse interest with commitment, we often end up beating ourselves up for not making progress. But once we honestly acknowledge where we are, we can stop living in shame and start making intentional decisions. In this episode you'll learn:The difference between being interested and being investedWhy awareness is the beginning of lasting changeHow to stop beating yourself up for inconsistent habitsWhat your calendar, routines, and habits reveal about what you're truly invested inHow to decide if a goal is worth the investmentWhy your habits are simply evidence of what you've chosen to invest inThe question isn't whether you're disciplined enough. The question is:Are you interested... or are you invested? If this episode encourages you, I'd love to hear from you. Leave a review, share it with a friend, or schedule a Right Fit Call if you'd like support becoming the woman God is calling you to be.Schedule your Right Fit Call: https://calendar.app.google/fKky1WSUhofxu4hB8 | 20m 38s | ||||||
| 7/22/26 | Your Habits Are Always Taking You Somewhere: Where Are Yours Leading? | Your habits are always moving you in a direction. The question is whether they're moving you toward the woman you want to become. In this episode, I share a personal realization that came while reflecting on my own habits. As I poured more energy into building my coaching business, I slowly stopped paying attention to some of the habits that had helped me lose over 80 pounds and steward my health well. It reminded me that intentional habits don't maintain themselves. They require our attention. We'll talk about the difference between habits that help us achieve a goal and habits that shape the person we're becoming. I'll also share a simple exercise to help you identify the habits that support the life God is calling you to live.In this episode, you'll learn:• Why habits are either built intentionally or by default• The difference between goal-based and identity-based habits• How to recognize when old patterns are creeping back in• Simple ways to make healthy habits easier to maintain• How to start where you're at and build consistency from love, not perfectionLinks mentioned:Get My Habit Tracker: https://coachshannap.myflodesk.com/podresourcesAll other mentions links, here:https://shannapyzer.com/all-the-links | 20m 50s | ||||||
| 7/15/26 | Stop Chasing Productivity. Start Creating. | In this episode, I explore how constantly striving for productivity can leave us drained, discouraged, and feeling like we are never enough. Instead, I invite you to consider a different perspective. Because you were created in the image of a Creator.Whether you're making dinner, coaching clients, raising children, tending a garden, building a business, or simply creating peace in your home, your life is filled with opportunities to create instead of merely produce.Sometimes changing one thought changes the entire emotional experience of your day.In this episode you'll learn:• Why productivity isn't the only measure of a meaningful life• How your thoughts create the emotional energy you bring into your work• The difference between doing something because you "have to" versus because you get to create• Why creativity isn't reserved for artists• Practical ways to shift ordinary daily tasks into meaningful acts of creation• How this simple mindset shift can reduce stress and increase joy💜 Next Steps:Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! | 7/9/26 | Adaptability Is the Secret to Consistency | Life doesn't always cooperate with our carefully planned schedules.Sometimes family needs us. Sometimes unexpected opportunities come along. Sometimes our priorities shift for a season. The question isn't whether life will interrupt your plans. The question is what you'll do next.In this episode, we're talking about a powerful lesson from James Clear that completely reframed the way I think about consistency:Consistency isn't about being rigid. It's about being adaptable. You'll learn why flexibility isn't weakness, how minimum baselines help you keep moving forward, and why liking your reasons matters more than keeping a perfect streak alive. If you've ever felt like you "blew it" because you missed one day, this episode is for you.Key Takeaways• Consistency isn't perfection. It's continuing to move forward.• Adaptability allows your habits to survive real life.• Missing one day doesn't erase your identity or your progress.• Minimum baselines help you stay connected to your goals during busy seasons.• Every decision is a choice. Learn to like your reasons instead of criticizing them afterward.• Priorities will change from season to season, and that's okay.• You don't have to choose between loving your family well and pursuing your goals. Sometimes the timeline changes, but the commitment remains.• Self-leadership includes extending yourself grace without making excuses.Closing EncouragementLife isn't asking you to become someone who never has interruptions. It's inviting you to become someone who knows how to adapt without quitting. You don't have to be perfect to become consistent.Keep showing up.Keep adjusting.Keep renewing your mind.Small, faithful steps still move you forward.Call to ActionIf this episode encouraged you, would you share it with a friend who tends to be hard on herself whenever life doesn't go according to plan? And if you're ready for support in creating consistent rhythms that actually fit your life, check the links below to learn more about coaching, upcoming workshops, and all the resources I mentioned in today's episode. Here is the James Clear post I reference in the episode: https://www.instagram.com/p/Dag6xR7jte4/💜 Next Steps:Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! | 6/24/26 | Clarity Creates Consistency | If you've ever found yourself saying, "I just need to be more consistent," this episode is for you.Consistency matters. It changes lives. Small actions repeated over time create incredible results. But what if the thing standing in the way of your consistency isn't a lack of discipline? What if it's a lack of clarity? In this episode, we're talking about the connection between clarity and consistency. When you're clear about what you want, why it matters, and what actions will move you forward, consistency becomes much easier. Whether you're working on your health, your relationships, your faith, or building a coaching practice, clarity may be the missing piece.Episode SummaryMany women assume they have a consistency problem when what they really have is a clarity problem. When we're unclear about what we want, we become overwhelmed. We hesitate. We overthink. We second guess ourselves. Then we label ourselves inconsistent. In this episode, I walk through how clarity creates focus, reduces overwhelm, and makes consistent action easier. You'll learn how to get clear on what you want, identify the actions that actually matter, and build momentum through small consistent steps.Whether you're working on weight loss, improving relationships, growing your faith, or cultivating a coaching practice, this episode will help you take a practical look at what may be keeping you stuck.Key Takeaways• Consistency is essential, but clarity often comes first.• Confusion creates overwhelm and overwhelm leads to inaction.• You cannot intentionally move toward something you haven't clearly identified.• Getting clear on what you want allows you to identify the actions that matter most.• Clarity helps eliminate distractions and focus your energy.• Consistency creates evidence that you can trust yourself.• Evidence builds confidence.• Confidence builds momentum.• Consistency should come before intensity.• Small, consistent actions create transformation over time.EncouragementYou do not have to have everything figured out before you begin.Start by getting clear about what you want. Then take the next right step. Not perfectly. Not dramatically.Just consistently.God often works through the ordinary, faithful steps we take over and over again.Call to ActionIf you're a coach who wants more clarity around your message, offer, and path to clients, join me for The Business of Coaching Workshop on July 13th.https://shannapyzer.com/bocworkshopAnd if you're struggling to create consistent change in any area of your life, schedule a Right Fit Call. | 6/17/26 | The Lie That Entrepreneurship Means You Have to Work All the Time | A Conversation with Lisa Herbstreit | This conversation is part of our Identity Series focused on uncovering the hidden lies that shape our lives and learning how to replace them with truth.Lisa shares her journey from corporate accounting into the world of coaching, the fears that kept her from pursuing entrepreneurship, and how God gently led her toward a new possibility. We talk about fear, courage, renewing the mind, evidence gathering, stewardship, calling, and learning to trust God with the next step instead of demanding certainty before moving. In This Episode You'll Learn:• How hidden beliefs can quietly direct your decisions for years• Why your brain naturally gathers evidence for whatever you already believe• The difference between fear-based decision making and faith-filled action• How God often confirms the direction He is leading you through unexpected opportunities• Why courage is rarely the absence of fear• How entrepreneurship can support your life instead of consuming it• What it looks like to steward your gifts instead of hiding behind excuses• How renewing your mind helps you recognize and challenge limiting beliefsA Final EncouragementYou do not have to keep living from a story simply because you've believed it for a long time.A lie repeated often enough can feel true, but that doesn't make it true.Start paying attention to the stories running underneath your decisions. Ask yourself if they are actually true. Then begin gathering evidence for what God says instead. One renewed thought at a time can change everything. If this episode encouraged you, share it with a friend who may be feeling stuck behind a story that no longer serves her.And if you're ready for deeper support in renewing your mind and becoming the woman God created you to be, I'd love to work with you through coaching, Steadfast, or one of my upcoming programs.Connect with Lisa:https://www.instagram.com/lherbstreit/https://www.instagram.com/tlcoaching26/💜 Next Steps:Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! | 6/3/26 | Who Are You Becoming? The Stories We Tell Ourselves | Everyone has a story. A story about childhood, relationships, successes, disappointments, and painful experiences. But what if the most important part of your story isn't what happened to you? What if it's the meaning you've attached to what happened? In this episode, we're talking about identity, healing, and the powerful truth that your wounds are not your identity. God is in the business of redemption, and your past does not get the final word.Episode SummaryMany of us are carrying identity statements we never intentionally chose."I'm not enough.""I always quit.""I'm unlovable.""I can't change."These beliefs often grow out of real experiences, real pain, and real circumstances. But over time, they can become the lens through which we see ourselves and our future. In this episode, Shanna explores the difference between what happened to us and who we are. You'll learn how identity is formed, how stories become self-fulfilling, and how God invites us into transformation through the renewing of our minds.Key Takeaways• Events happen. Then we assign meaning to them.• Painful experiences are real, but they do not define your identity.• Victim may describe an experience, but it was never meant to become a permanent identity.• The stories we tell ourselves influence our thoughts, emotions, actions, and results.• Identity drives behavior.• God specializes in redemption, not erasure.• Your past may explain parts of your story, but it does not determine your future.• One of the most powerful questions you can ask is: "Who am I becoming?"You are more than the worst thing that happened to you. Your story matters. Your healing matters. But your wounds do not get the final word. God does.If this episode resonated with you, grab your journal and work through the reflection questions. Then share this episode with a friend who needs the reminder that transformation is possible.Journal Questions:What story do I tell most often about my life? What labels have I accepted about myself?Which of those labels came from painful experiences?Do those labels align with what God says about me?Who do I believe God is helping me become? | 21m 49s | ||||||

| 3/25/26 | Motivation is Unreliable- 3 Things That Will Help You Take Consistent Action | One of the biggest lies we believe is this: if I really wanted it, I would just do it.But that is not how the brain works. Most of the things that move your life forward require effort, discomfort, and doing things you do not feel like doing in the moment. Your brain is wired to seek pleasure, avoid pain, and conserve energy. That means resistance is normal. In this final March episode on taking action, I share three practical strategies that will help you follow through consistently even when motivation is nowhere to be found. In this episode, Shanna explains why waiting for motivation keeps many women stuck and how understanding the brain’s motivational triad removes shame around resistance. She then teaches three powerful strategies that make it easier to take action consistently: focusing on how you will feel after completing a task, reconnecting with your deeper reasons for doing it, and celebrating progress along the way. These simple shifts help retrain the brain and build trust with yourself through repeated follow through.Key TakeawaysYour brain is wired to seek pleasure, avoid pain, and conserve energy. Resistance is normal. If you think the reason you are not taking action is lack of motivation, you are solving the wrong problem.Focusing on how you will feel after completing the task can help override resistance.Every time you follow through on what you said you would do, you build trust with yourself.Having a written list of reasons why your goal matters helps anchor you when motivation fades.Repeated consistent action is what creates results and moves you toward the life you want.Celebrating small wins releases dopamine and trains your brain to repeat the behavior.Consistent action becomes an act of stewardship as we care for the life God has entrusted to us.Closing EncouragementYou do not change your life through one big burst of motivation. You change your life through thousands of small decisions and actions taken consistently over time.Start where you are. Commit to what you are willing to do consistently. And take those actions from a place of love.If you are ready to experience deeper transformation with personal coaching support, schedule a Right Fit Call through the link in the show notes.
