Cassidy stands at the intersection of science and mystery. He grew up in Southern Ohio where he learned the values, traditions, and language of his native culture. His ancestors left North Carolina prior to the Trail of Tears and settled in Kentucky before eventually moving into Southern Ohio. She first came to recognition as the bad seed teen Lolita “Kimberly Harris” in the ABC Daytime drama RYAN's HOPE, winning the plum role only two weeks after arriving in NYC to attend classes at The National Shakespeare Company Conservatory. Strong female leading roles, notably MAC-10-toting cheerleader “Samantha Belmont” in the zombie apocalypse classic NIGHT OF THE COMET, the sweet Killbot-slaying “Alison Parks” in CHOPPING MALL, “Jamie” in the underground slasher THE ZERO BOYS, teen psychotic-killer “Jolene” in SLAYGROUND, and several other well-received films quickly earned Kelli her seat at the table as a final girl in the family of the horror genre. She also guest-starred in a variety of prime-time ABC, NBC, and CBS shows, including the ever-popular MURDER, SHE WROTE. Kelli has said that her most fulfilling role to date is the schizophrenic femme fatale “Merrie/Meredith” in Showtime's noir thriller FACE DOWN (written and directed by NIGHT OF THE COMET's Thom Eberhardt), playing opposite Joe Mantegna, J.K. | 10/24/25 | ![]() Tina Djuretic EP60 The Jay Michael Show | Tina Djuretic is a Canadian author living in Vancouver. She was raised by strict, religious parents who isolated her from the rest of the world. What followed were three toxic relationships that nearly destroyed her. After her last breakup she sought help in the form of a channeller, who sent her on a path of healing. While writing her memoir she found forgiveness - for herself and her abusers. This taught her a lot about generational trauma, gaslighting, narcissists, and putting up healthy boundaries. It's Tina's goal to share her story with anyone who find themselves in a similar situation, and to educate people on the subject of toxic relationships, healing, spirituality, and not just surviving...but CREATING. Her book, Lost In The Overwhelm is a practical, hands on workbook, full of lessons and journalling prompts, meant to assist you in healing your childhood trauma. She had a lot of healing to do herself, and at the time, she had no idea where to start, so she asked for help. She asked for answers, and the Universe provided. Now she would like to pay it forward and share those lessons with you, because we ALL deserve healing. We ALL deserve peace. We ALL deserve to feel whole. Mikell describes learning to navigate the indie publishing world, from formating the files to get them ready for publication, to getting feedback from alpha and beta readers and her editor, to sending the advance ready copies, to releasing the book for publication. Another part of being an indie author is marketing her books. Besides friends and family, she has a street team that helps her with promoting her book on social media and getting her book in the hands of more readers. Her debut novel, Baby It's You, was published earlier this year, and centers on Jane, Olive and Hunter. The second book in the series, Can't Hurry Love, will be released in December 2025. Can't Hurry Love showcases Ivy, Olive's best friend, Lee and Donovan. The series takes place in the small fictional town of Clairesville in Tennessee. These are interconnected stand-alone books. Some characters from book one pop up in book two. Mikell explains that her plan is to have a five-book series based in Clairesville. She is currently working on book three. Formed by married duo Frank and River Rabbitte, the four-piece band has been compared to Amy Winehouse and The Black Keys and described as a "heavily distorted roadhouse raunch". Their high-energy live shows have been featured at festivals like SXSW and Summerfest, and they have toured extensively across the US. Frank and River (Toussaint) Rabbitte, along with two other members, form a four-piece band with a musical style said to be a blend of garage rock, blues, and soul, often described as "bluesy, smoky, sexy, and raw". Likened to a combination of Amy Winehouse, The Black Keys, and Janis Joplin, their music has been called "heavily distorted roadhouse raunch". The band is known for its high-energy, "sweat-soaked" performances at festivals such as SXSW and Summerfest, as well as regional touring. Named one of Do312's Chicago Bands You Should Be Listening To, they are celebrated for bringing a "danger, romance, and the raw, electric thrill of rock 'n' roll" back to the genre. Lauded by Rolling Stone for their “late-night decadence and velvet tones,” this femme fatale fronted powerhouse blends garage rock, blues, and soul with an unapologetic edge. What started as a covert side project between married duo Frank and River (Toussaint) Rabbitte has evolved into a four-piece tour de force, crafting music that lives on the edge of chaos and melody, delivering a sonic gut punch with every note. | 10/3/25 | ![]() Stephanie Tomlinson EP57 The Jay Michael Show | Stephanie Tomlinson says, Being a published writer has always been one of my dreams. When I was younger, I loved books because they offered an escape from reality—an adventure, or mystery, and of course, romance. I promised myself that one day there would be a book out there with my name on the cover. One that made readers feel the way I did. I'm so proud to have made that dream a reality. My ideal Heaven is at home with my son and incredible husband (and best friend) of 24 years on our hobby farm, complete with dogs, chickens, an orchard, and a greenhouse. She is a unique artist with a gift for translating human experience into sound. In the words of multi-platinum songwriter, Andrea Stolpe, “[Lauren has] the ability to make the most difficult experiences relatable”. Originally from Nashville, now living in New York, songwriting was Minear's first love in life. She spent her childhood immersed in music, memorizing lyrics to Eric Clapton, Brooks & Dunn, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, and Garth Brooks songs on long family drives to visit her grandparents in New Orleans. She wrote her first song at the age of fourteen, and recorded an EP (unreleased) with George Marinelli, longtime guitarist for Bonnie Raitt. She was mentored by some of Nashville's leading songwriters, and even sat in the studio with Steve Earle during his Jerusalem sessions. Needless to say, music is in Minear's blood. Since her debut in 2022, in addition to building a worldwide fanbase, Minear has shared the stage with legendary singer-songwriter Pete Yorn and rising star, Cassandra Lewis. She has performed in legendary venues, including The Bitter End (NYC), and The Basement (Nashville). Her gift for songwriting has been recognized by international songwriting competitions, and Ben Folds himself, who handpicked her for his exclusive songwriting retreat. She has released a charity single benefitting gun violence prevention efforts in the United States, and she has collaborated with many of New York's finest musicians.
