It's hard to believe that we're moving into the 5th year of TCR! All the way back in our first ever episode we had an infective case that was very topical at the time - covid - And so to kick things off for Season 5, we're looking at another highly infective case of viral haemorrhagic fever. Professor Seamus Morris | Leah sat down with Professor Seamus Morris, Consultant Orthopaedic and Spinal Trauma surgeon at the National Spinal Injuries Unit as a follow up to our case. They go through all things cervical spinal collars, MRIs, ASIA scores and discuss the development of the trauma system for Ireland. Prof Morris is a specialist in spinal trauma surgery and after finishing his orthopaedic specialty training in RCSI, travelled to London and New York for fellowships.
