| 4/25/26 | Improving Your Progesterone to Oestrogen Ratio with Three Simple Steps | This week on the podcast I want to do a mini episode on improving your progesterone to oestrogen ratio in the luteal phase. And the reason being is that I track a lot of my client’s hormones with Mira, which is an at home hormone tracker, and I frequently see higher oestrogen levels and lower progesterone levels in the luteal phase.References:1) https://academic.oup.com/jcem/article-abstract/77/5/1215/26499612) https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4700980/3) https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminE-HealthProfessional/https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vitamins-and-minerals/vitamin-e/4) https://www.fertstert.org/article/s0015-0282(0300657-5/5) https://rbej.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12958-023-01126-1, https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/15/12/2773, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1155/2021/5529741, https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3484190/Oxidative stress episodes:https://www.theendobellycoach.com/podcast/what-is-oxidative-stress?https://www.theendobellycoach.com/podcast/endo-early-perimenopause-menopause?https://www.theendobellycoach.com/podcast/lower-oxidative-stress-strategiesAffiliate PartnershipsmBIOTA -mBIOTA Elemental is the next generation of the elemental diet and is developed with leading gastroenterologists and food scientists. | 4/4/26 | The Link Between Pelvic Congestion Syndrome and Endometriosis with Dr Alexis Cutchins | Today’s episode is with Dr Alexis Cutchins and we’re talking all about pelvic congestion syndrome (or pelvic venous disease as it’s also known as) and its connection to endometriosis, POTS, MCAS and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders.Dr Cutchins is a board certified cardiologist with a passion for caring for patients with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders. After 13 years as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the division of Cardiology at Emory University she became founder and CEO of Cutchins Cardiovascular Medicine in New York City. She has been recognized globally for her clinical excellence in the care and management of patients with complex chronic illness, specifically, POTS, Dysautonomia and Long COVID. So today Dr Cutchins is being our advocate and sharing the symptoms, how to get diagnosed and what tests to ask for, and the treatment options available to us.If you have daily chronic pelvic pain, or leg pain, or you suspect or know you have POTS, HSD or hEDS or MCAS, this is worth a listen.Affiliate PartnershipsmBIOTA- mBIOTA Elemental is the next generation of the elemental diet and is developed with leading gastroenterologists and food scientists. | 3/14/26 | The Latest Research on the Elemental Diet for SIBO with mBiota CEO Nicola Wodlinger | Today I am talking to Nicola Wodlinger, CEO of mBIOTA, the founders of the mBIOTA Elemental diet, which is a treatment I use with many of my SIBO clients but is also a treatment for other gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS and Crohn’s. The elemental diet is notoriously bad tasting, so the founders of mBIOTA set out to create an elemental diet that was both clinically effective for treating SIBO whilst also being palatable enough for patients to actually finish the treatment, which has been a challenge historically. They are also investing into research and have found some incredible effects of mBIOTA for SIBO and even candida. So today, Nicola and I are discussing what the elemental diet is and why it’s used for SIBO treatment, the effectiveness of the elemental diet and what their research has found (which is fascinating, btw), challenges of the elemental diet and how to overcome them, and how to transition off the formula, which is a point of confusion for many SIBO-ers.So, if you struggle with SIBO, IBS or you have endo belly and you’re wondering what could be behind it, I really recommend tuning into this conversation!Oh and also, I just had to share this, mBIOTA is an entirely female led and staffed company, which I thought was pretty cool and many of you would appreciate! | 2/6/26 | How to Give Your Diet an Anti-Inflammatory Glow Up Without the Overwhelm | Today’s episode is a nice short, and practical episode as I know we’ve been very science heavy lately!I was having a conversation with a client this week, who would like to make some changes to her diet not just for endo, but due to some other health issues which would benefit from leaning towards more of an anti-inflammatory, Mediterranean style of eating. And often, we assume in this day and age of wellness, that changes need to be elaborate, restrictive or include lots of supplements, but often, we really need to get started first with the foundations.Affiliate PartnershipsDITTO - DITTO is a clinically studied PMS and PMDD supplement with 10 ingredients that target both the mental and physical challenges that come along with the menstrual cycle, developed by a PhD Nutrition Scientist. | 2/1/26 | POTS and Dysautonomia 101 | Welcome to our continued series exploring the trifecta of POTS, MCAS and h-EDS/hypermobility, and today we are basically doing a little POTS 101.POTS is a condition caused by a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is the part of our nervous system which governs involuntary actions of the body that essentially keep us alive and we don’t have to think about in order for them to happen, such as breathing, heart beat, blood pressure regulation, blood sugar regulation, digestion and so on.POTS is a type of dysautonomia (which is a spectrum of conditions and symptoms caused by this dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system) which causes a rapid increase in heart rate when going from sitting to standing. This change in heart rate is caused by pooling of blood in the lower body, which isn’t getting up to the heart and the brain like it normally should, resulting in the heart working harder to get the the blood moving. This reduced blood flow causes dizziness, breathlessness, feeling faint or fainting, palpitations and chest pain, and the change in heart rate can be measured.Affiliate PartnershipsDITTO - DITTO is a clinically studied PMS and PMDD supplement with 10 ingredients that target both the mental and physical challenges that come along with the menstrual cycle, developed by a PhD Nutrition Scientist. | 12/13/25 | Postural Tachycardia Syndrome Diagnostic Pathway and Criteria | I recently did a couple of Instagram carousels about postural tachycardia syndrome or dysautonomia signs and symptoms I see in clients - and the response was absolutely overwhelming, unlike anything I have experienced before (and I’ve had my Instagram for about 12 or so years!). The post has been viewed over 120,000 times and has been saved around 500 times now. | 11/22/25 | Evidence-Based Nutrients for PMS, PMDD, Endo Pain and ADHD, and the Gap Between Nutrition Research and Medicine with Alice van der Schoot of Ditto | Alice van der Schoot is a PhD nutrition scientist with a background in neuroscience. Her work brings together both fields to explore how nutrition can impact underlying mechanisms of PMS, PMDD, and period pain to reduce symptoms - from neurotransmitter function, to pain processing and inflammation. Recognising that valuable research often remains hidden in academic journals, Alice founded DITTO to address the disconnect between scientific evidence and meaningful solutions in menstrual health. DITTO has a clinically studied supplement formulated specifically for PMS, PMDD, and period pain, with key nutrients that may also support individuals with endometriosis. DITTO's social channels are also a platform for science communication - breaking down important research to make it accessible to those who need it most, and if you haven’t checked out her Instagram to see her coverage on research, I highly recommend you do!ReferencesDITTO linksWebsiteInstagram @ditto.daily20% discount code: ENDOBELLYAffiliate PartnershipsDITTO - DITTO is a clinically studied PMS and PMDD supplement with 10 ingredients that target both the mental and physical challenges that come along with the menstrual cycle, developed by a PhD Nutrition Scientist. | 10/25/25 | Easy Interstitial Cystitis Trigger Food Swaps to Bring Joy and Flavour Back to Meals | This episode was inspired by a recent Substack of mine. I have a section in my Substack called ‘What I’m eating lately’ and it’s just a section where I share healthy meal ideas that support us with endo and our many chronic illnesses. I shared how I had started using whole seeds instead of spices for my interstitial cystitis, and I got a really positive response from others who had struggled with bland meals since their IC developed. So, for those of you who aren’t aware, interstitial cystitis is also called Bladder Pain Syndrome, and is a condition that causes bladder pressure, frequent urination, poor bladder emptying, bladder pain and more, without a clear cause. It’s a co-condition of endometriosis, and it can be extremely debilitating to live with. I have multiple episodes on the condition, so if you want to deep dive into it, go on a scroll through my podcast feed, and I’ve linked a few below.Show Notes: This episode is sponsored by Mira, your at-home hormone testing device.
