About this episode

This episode discusses the importance of praying for oneself and provides inspirational verses for personal prayer.

Whether you are a person who prays for others and forgets to pray for yourself, or you are a seasoned pro at asking God for the desires of your heart, this episode has some of my favorite verses for inspirational prayer reference. Sharing them in show notes because I’m no gatekeeper, but give this short episode a listen too to hear how I break them down for clarity and better understanding to be applied to your life. Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Isaiah 48:17 This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands. Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory… I pray these verses are helpful and if so, you pass them and this episode on to others who come to mind. God bless you! Highlights: (01:49) - Why praying for everybody else but yourself is not exactly the goal…
