He then expresses his desire to visit the church in Rome after he delivers a financial gift from the Macedonian churches to the struggling church in Jerusalem. His ultimate desire is to go to Spain (frontier missions where Christ has not been heard), but wants to have a layover in Rome to be refreshed by their encouragement.
