The Telecaster was the first solid-body electric guitar with a sound that worked and was readily adopted by musicians. It was heavy and a bit clunky so some changes were made including cutting away some of the body as well as adding a third pickup. The Stratocaster was born. This week Randy introduces us to the pop world’s most iconic guitar as well as some of the people who made it famous.
