Sue Breaks Down WNBA Rookie Standouts PLUS Maria Sharapova On Being Pretty Tough

About this episode

Sue Bird discusses WNBA rookies and interviews Maria Sharapova about her post-retirement life and new podcast.

Sue dives into the WNBA preseason with a close look at the rookies’ first WNBA games. What are Raven Johnson, Flau’jae Johnson, Olivia Miles, Lauren Betts and others bringing to their new teams? WNBA vets Natasha Cloud and Tina Charles are still unsigned. Could they both be victims of the hard salary cap? Or is Tash being black-balled for her outspoken activism? And Sue talks to Maria Sharapova about her new podcast, Pretty Tough, adapting to a new identity post-retirement, and her newfound friendship with former tennis rival, Serena Wiliams.
