Hello, Friend of God! This month, we’re launching a powerful new theme—Praying God-Size Prayers. Throughout September, we’ll be diving into the bold, extraordinary prayers found in Scripture—prayers that dared to ask for the impossible and received God’s miraculous answers. We’ll rotate our focus between the prayers of Jesus, the apostles in Acts, and heroes of faith from the Old Testament. Our guiding verse is James 4:2: “You have not because you ask not.” Let’s refuse to settle for small or safe requests. Together, we’ll be inspired to ask for things only God can accomplish, believing that when we pray God-size prayers, we make room for God-size answers.Let us pray,Gracious, happy God, as we enter this new month, we come to you with expectant hearts. Restore what has been lost, repay what’s been stolen, and refresh our spirits with your goodness. Teach us to pray with faith, specificity, and courage, knowing that every prayer counts and that your power knows no limits. May our prayers shape our destiny and bring glory to your name. Amen.

The story of Saul, who became the Apostle Paul, stands as a profound testament to this reality. As detailed in Acts 9, Saul’s encounter with the risen Christ transformed him from a fierce persecutor of Christians into one of the church's most influential figures. As we wrap up these 21 days, let us pray for the prodigals, for the reach of God’s love knows no bounds. Whether it’s our neighbors, colleagues, famous people that we just know through the screen, or even family members, we believe that the power of God can bring about life-altering change. This miraculous event teaches us that when we praise you through our pain, we can experience profound liberation and joy. If you are feeling weighed down or confined by life’s challenges, take heart! We anticipate the miracles and empowerment the Holy Spirit brings to every situation we face. We reflect on the miraculous of Pentecost, where the Holy Spirit descended with the sound of a rushing wind and tongues of fire.In that moment, the atmosphere shifted as believers were filled with the Spirit and began to speak in languages they had never known. This marked the birth of a new era, showcasing God’s power to empower his people for the mission ahead. Remember that the Holy Spirit is still at work in our lives today. Thrown into a blazing furnace for their unwavering faith, they emerged unharmed—the Son of God walked alongside them in the fire and brought them out unscathed. Perhaps you find yourself facing intense trials or experiencing pressure not to trust God and his goodness. Friend, take heart—God is right there with you in the fire, and He will bring you out stronger, without a scratch. I proclaim that God is with you in every fiery trial—He is your Deliverer! Even when hope seemed lost, Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave, unbound him, and restored him to life.Maybe you’re facing a situation that feels hopeless or “dead”—a relationship, a dream, or a part of your own heart. Remember, Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. He brings hope where there was none and restores what was lost.Friend, I proclaim resurrection life and hope over you. Their fear turned to awe at His power.Miraculous Calm Maybe you feel like you’re in the middle of a storm—tossed by anxiety, uncertainty, or difficulties you can’t control. Let this miracle remind you: no storm is bigger than Jesus. When He is in your boat, you are never alone.
