🎃 HOODCAST AF EPISODE 314: THE HALLOWEEN SPECIAL! 👻Fallen promised he would do it, and now the time has come! This Halloween, Hoodcast AF attempts to reach beyond the grave and contact the one, the only, the legendary Cobra Dad on the other side! Will they make contact with their dearly departed friend, or will this whole thing turn into another spectacular Hoodcast disaster? Thankfully, they’ve got some help from the world of the supernatural: Sylvia Browne! Well, she’s dead, too, but that doesn’t stop her from getting involved. Somehow, her soul ends up inhabiting a ventriloquist dummy, and she does such a terrible job communicating with the other side that she eventually just comes back to life to smoke cigarettes, or as she affectionately calls them, ciggies! You can’t make this stuff up!But that’s not all! Hoodcast AF has officially acquired a house band! The Crypt Door has supplied us with a collection of original Halloween songs, packed with spooky sounds, creepy vibes, and plenty of Hoodcast references. These musical maniacs only do Halloween songs, making them the perfect addition to this year’s festivities. Their tunes will be haunting the episode throughout, so keep your ears open!Meanwhile, Chizzle has been making the rounds on the toy show and convention circuit, and he’s got some thoughts about the whole experience. What should you expect from vendors when you’re out hunting for collectibles? What should vendors expect from their customers? What’s reasonable, what’s ridiculous, and who’s asking for too damn much? From the buyer’s perspective to the vendor’s side of the table, Chizzle breaks down the expectations, frustrations, and complaints that come with doing business in the collectible community. We’ve also got the latest collectible news, with plenty of cool stuff from Mezco, Marvel Legends, and more! And because no Hoodcast Halloween would be complete without a little questionable musical entertainment, Fallen debuts a song dedicated to Cobra Dad’s dearly departed dog, Jimbo! If you remember the emotional roller coaster of Cobra’s updates and Jimbo’s passing from our previous compilation episode, you already know the backstory. Now, Jimbo gets his own song, and let’s just say it’s about as heartfelt, ridiculous, and hilarious as you’d expect from this crew. Can Hoodcast AF reach Cobra Dad from beyond the grave? Will Sylvia Browne’s possessed dummy finally deliver a message from the other side? Or will this entire supernatural investigation go straight to hell?Tune in for Hoodcast AF Episode 314, where the spirits are restless, the ciggies are burning, the collectibles are piling up, and the chaos is absolutely supernatural!Happy Halloween, Hoodlums! 🎃💀

Hoodcast AF Bonus Episode: The Ballad of JimboSome stories from the Hoodcast AF universe are funny, some are chaotic, and some hit a little closer to home. The Ballad of Jimbo is a collection of clips documenting the final days of Jimbo, Cobra Dad’s beloved dog, as the Hoodcast crew followed along, shared updates, and eventually said goodbye.Hosted by Jonathan Fallon, this bonus episode kicks off with footage from the livestream where everything unfolded, setting the stage for a series of clips from across the Hoodcast AF archives. Just to be clear, this was a companion livestream and video event, not the actual audio podcast episode. The first stop takes us to the A Worthy Addiction YouTube show, featuring Toy Addict 17, Worthy Collector, Pot Dog, Cobra Dad, and Mike TV — or Mike V-Town, or whatever name he’s going by this week. And because nothing in this community is ever completely normal, Worthy Collector’s microphone happens to be hot while he’s apparently taking a bathroom break in his toy room. We’re still not entirely sure what was happening there. From there, we dig into clips from other episodes, including some truly bizarre phone calls from BC Zach, also known as Zachary Evergreen, who apparently has just as many aliases as the rest of this bunch. Zach makes some unforgettable calls, including one where he calls in as Jimbo himself — Cobra’s dearly departed dog — leaving us to hear Cobra’s reaction to this unusual, and admittedly pretty strange, tribute. It’s a hodgepodge of livestream moments, archived conversations, questionable phone calls, and the kind of unpredictable nonsense that only this crew can deliver. But underneath all the chaos is a record of a difficult time for Cobra Dad and the people who were there to share it with him.The Ballad of Jimbo is a look back at Jimbo’s story, the people who came together around it, and the strange, funny, heartfelt moments that became part of Hoodcast AF history. A tribute to Cobra’s four-legged friend, assembled from the clips that captured it all — Hoodcast style.

Hoodcast AF Episode 313: A $41 Toothbrush!Hoodcast AF welcomes a new face to the show as Big Clay, owner and proprietor of Big Clay’s Place, joins the boys for the first time! Big Clay is a fellow toy vendor, vintage toy hunter, and collector with plenty of stories and insight to share with The Fallen and Chizzle. From the hunt for vintage treasures to the wild world of toy shows and buying and selling collectibles, there’s plenty to dig into when another toy hustler joins the conversation.Speaking of toy shows, The Fallen has a bone to pick with the San Jose Super Toy Show. Between $20 parking, another $20 just to get through the door, and somehow barely making the early-bird cutoff (which would’ve saved him five whole dollars), the math wasn’t exactly mathing. And what did he walk away with after all that? A ONE-DOLLAR QUEEN AMIDALA TOOTHBRUSH! But hey, when you factor in the $40 admission and parking, that might just be a $41 toothbrush. Now that’s collecting! The boys keep the show rolling with the latest news, including a whole lot of NECA reveals and previews of what’s coming at New York Comic Con. We’ve got a new guest, toy-show war stories, collector complaints, and the usual Hoodcast AF nonsense.Tune in to Episode 313 for another banger! Hoodcast AF: Where the toys are expensive, the parking is ridiculous, and the toothbrushes are priceless!

Hoodcast AF Episode 310 — “Apology Tour”It’s another episode of Hoodcast AF, and this time Chisel and The Fallen have plenty to apologize for… probably.Chisel kicks things off with some toy show drama, breaking down the latest vendor beef, convention nonsense, and the kind of collectible-community chaos that only happens when you put a bunch of toy dealers in the same building. Then the boys get into Transformers, including Target’s infamous Apology Tour and all the toys, figures, and questionable decisions that come along with it. They take a look at the Super7 clamshell figures, talk about what works and what doesn’t, and then get into the big boy himself—the massive Optimus that both Fallen and Chisel picked up.Of course, Fallen can’t just leave Optimus alone. He’s already planning a repaint and has even printed up some custom blasters to give the big bot a little more firepower. And that’s just the beginning. There’s plenty of collectible news, toy talk, convention stories, opinions nobody asked for, acquisitions, arguments, tangents, and all the other bullshit that makes Hoodcast AF what it is.Episode 310: Apology Tour.Come for the Transformers. Stay for the chaos.

The Hoodcast gets even more unhinged this week as Tommy Toys returns to the show—and he’s not coming alone. He brings along Tron Trizzle, a hardcore Transformers collector, certified big-robot guy, and apparently just as maney as the rest of us.Chizzle and The Fallen are in full deal-making mode, talking toys, collecting, buying, selling, and all the bullshit that comes with it. Deals are made, shit gets talked, and before long the entire show goes completely off the rails. And trust us… you’re gonna want to WATCH this one. There’s some shit happening on this episode that you simply can’t appreciate through audio alone. If you’ve been sleeping on the Hoodcast YouTube feed, now is the time to wake the hell up.Tommy. Tron. Chizzle. Fallen.“Maney and Meffers” is Hoodcast AF at its absolute hoodest. You’ve been warned.
