| 5/31/26 | ![]() Pt 6 The Green Dream | Deception is never overt, lies enter society covertly. There are few lies that have manifested the world over greater than that of Global Warming, previously known as Global Cooling (circa 1970’s), but today referred to simply as Climate Change, “The Green Dream”. The evil source for the change in our weather is surprisingly Carbon Dioxide, a trace gas that makes up less than .04% of all the atmospheric gases (the major ‘gas’ is simply Water Vapour). it is this molecule that is responsible for both Cooling and Warming of the planet according to our politicians and the scientists supported by them. It is the controlled reduction of this gas that will find the world impoverished while the elites who propagate the lie continue to grow in both wealth and power. Vince Wall deals well with this deception. The post Pt 6 The Green Dream appeared first on Hope Baptist Church. | — | ||||||
| 5/30/26 | ![]() Pt 5: Judgement Fallen | Isaiah 59:9–15 9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. 10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men. 11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. 12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; 13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. 15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. When truth is rejected in any society any basis from which to judge matters is taken away. Truth has failed and what we see in the world today is Judgement fallen. The world is groping for a wall like blind men, we stumble at noonday as if in darkness, every where we are seeking after justice and true judgement, but there is none. This is the state of a world that has forgotten God, denied God, denied truth in its entirety. Truth is fallen in the streets and equity simply cannot enter. The world no longer has a love for the truth and all it awaits is its own judgement. The post Pt 5: Judgement Fallen appeared first on Hope Baptist Church. | — | ||||||
| 5/29/26 | ![]() Pt 3: Truth Is Fallen | Truth Is Fallen When Jesus spoke of the signs concerning his return, the predominant sign alluded to seems certain to be that of deception. A deception so convincing that many will believe the Antichrist is Jesus Christ. The world will indeed be looking for a saviour, times will be the most difficult of all history, and deception will be the predominant means by which the antichrist will be accepted. We have abandoned truth, truth is fallen, lies now dominate, some of the greatest of all lies are in this present time of history. We have recently come out of the greatest evident lie of our times, the so called Covid 19 Pandemic. The post Pt 3: Truth Is Fallen appeared first on Hope Baptist Church. | — | ||||||

| 2/22/26 | ![]() Pt20: A Little Leaven | Pt 20 A Little Leaven A Little Leaven We live in a time when any mention of sin is turned away from in modern Churches. When this happens it is inevitable that it will inevitably permeate the entire Church, all it takes is a little leaven, a little sin and it acts like yeast in bread to corrupt the whole. Tragically, when that which is evil (sinful) becomes tolerated in a place where the desire is toward all that is good (holy), it does not take long before it is justified, when sin is justified then all which might condemn it as evil becomes considered at evil. Suddenly, Isiah 5:20 becomes the reality in the Church. Evil is seen as good, good is seen as evil. If this becomes the common state of the Church (and it is), what then becomes of the world? 1 Corinthians 5:1–8 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. There is a principle that Paul introduces to the Corinthian Churches, a principle that has its origin far back into history when God is dealing with his own people. It is a principle that recognises that once sin is tolerated among a people, it becomes accepted; once it is accepted, it becomes normalised; and once it becomes normalised, it becomes unlimitable. The first millennium had witnessed the sin of man develop to a point so rapidly that the only solution was to purge the earth and begin again with one family. Sodom and Gomorrah was another, these Cities of the Plain had so accepted the perversion of sexual relationships that they normalised and even sanctified them before fire and brimstone fell from heaven to destroy them. Those Cities today remain as Cities of Ash. Many people have recorded their visits to the sites and dug balls of sulphur from the ruins thereof. Tour busses ensure the ash is dusted off the feet of tourist before entering the buses. We too, in this life and in this world have now become so putrified with sin that we have sanctified that which God calls “abomination”. Time is drawing to a close for this world. Paul however is dealing with the Church. It is the Church who is meant to set the standard for the world and so it is the Church that is charged to be purged of its leaven, liberated from the sin of a few, to become a new lump and sanctified for the masters use. It is this principle I would like to expound to you this morning and I pray that I can do so employing the logic that stems directly from Scripture. What we are going to note as we consider this doctrine are; Firstly that Sin is Never seen in the scripture as isolated to the individual, it is always likened to “A Little Leaven”; as yeast corrupts both bread and wine, so too sin corrupts the person, the church and the world. Sin is NOT Private. Secondly, that sin is NEVER permissible. It ought never to be tolerated, not in the person, not in the Church and certainly not is society. It will inevitably destroy all when left unchecked. Thirdly, that | — | ||||||
| 2/19/26 | ![]() Trust Pt 3: The Practice Of Trust | The Application of The Words of God The Practice Of Trust 15th Feb, 2026 Why does he not show himself? Why does he hide himself? Why does he not reveals himself in a way that satisfies me? For millennia man has complained that God is not evident to them enough that they may trust him. For a shorter time, we Christians have lived our lives in a similar fashion. The last question is more to the point for many, even for you and I far too ofter; “Why does he not reveal himself in a way that satisfies me?”. Yet all of HEAVEN DECLARES HIM Heaven Declares Him Trustworthy. Psalm 19:1–6 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. All of creation speaks to the glory of God. All that he made he made for a purpose and all works in accord with his purpose. Man, man alone was given a will to choose to love him, to follow him, to trust him with the whole heart and to live in accord with that trust. But man rebelled from the first. All of creation identifies their creator, the heavens declare him. He is testified to by the very firmament of heaven in which the stars reside, a “handiwork” that is beyond our comprehension. The beauty of creation, is astonishing even if we are beholding a POST FALL AND POST FLOOD WORLD. There was a time when man desired to capture the wonder of the Lord in all forms of art, in Music, in Paintings, in statues; in all things creative, man moved to create as the creator, to replicate or at the very least to capture some element of the beauty of God and his “handiwork”. The declaration of heaven was desired by man as he grew more and more to love his creator. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard Just as the reformation began, when man had come to see that Christ was sent to save that which was lost, man began to fall in love with the Lord and rejoiced with heaven in all that was created. He searched the stars “night unto night” and he gained in knowledge”, the heavens declared with a single language to all the world, for “there is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard”. Francis Schaefer, in his classic work, Escape From Reason, testified to the culmination of everything from art to science during those years that coincided with the word of God being set free from the locked language of the latin and placed into the vernacular of the people, testifying to its PRACTICAL EFFECT ON MANKIND through tremendous prosperity in the western nations that embraced the gospel. The perfection of Art was only improved upon by the rapid acceleration of science and knowledge, mathematics and law. The establishment of just laws, from the Magna Carta of King John of England at Runnymede, near Windsor, in the early 13th century (1215) testified that not even the king was above the Law, and so the beginning of JUST Law through the Westminster System began to rule and to govern. Respect for God’s Law set the people of the world FREE and prosperity increased. WHY? Because Heaven Declares Him Trustworthy., and the world began to hear its speech and believe it. The Family was the very nucleus of Civilisation and the world knew it must be protected at all cost for civilisation to survive and thrive. Men were men and took their responsibilities seriously on the large part. Churches thrived as more and | — | ||||||
| 2/18/26 | ![]() Trust Pt 2: Our Foundation | The Foundation, The Word. 8/2/26 John 1:1–14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Last week we gave consideration to the concept of trust and we understood that our refuge and strength, our very present help in trouble. 2 where will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Is God. He is our shelter, our “hiding place” Psalm 119:114 114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. We spoke of TRUST and ALL people need to have a TRUST, that which is absolute, immovable, a “refuge” to turn into when trouble comes. Last week we saw that it truly was God. Psalm 46:1-3 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. Here we see that he was there in the beginning, before all that came into being God was already there. Genesis 1:1 told us; Genesis 1:1 1 In the beginning God …. But John 1:1 tells us something more; John 1:1–14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. While we understood God would be our refuge in the Old Testament, we come to the New Testament and something more tangible is revealed to us that we ought to take heed to. God is “The Word”. Why did God identify himself this way? Why “the Word”? In verse 14 we see something more; 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. We see the Word manifest, even taking on flesh, appearing as a person and witnessed by those who”dwelt” with him. But this is not the only place we have such references; 1 John 5:7 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Such a “witness” in heaven has a threefold manifestation with the second witness identified as “the Word”. We know this to be referring to Jesus Christ. In John 1 “the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us” In 1 John 5 he is witnessed in heaven. In Revelation 19 he returns as Judge; Revelation 19:11–13 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Lets pray. Words Our FOUNDATION John 1:1–14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, | — | ||||||
| 2/18/26 | ![]() Trust Pt 1 | TRUST Psalm 46:title–11 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. TRUST & REFUGE see Ps 57 & 62 Psalm 57:1 1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. Psalm 62:7–8 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. TRUST, relationships built on TRUST are unbreakable and prosperous in every way. Businesses with partners who right trust one another cannot fail. But so much more does this apply to a husband and a wife. Such a relationship thrives. How much more when men and women truly trust in the LORD? 2 Samuel 22:31 31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. Psalm 40:4 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, … Do you want to know the central passage of the Bible? The central verses? There are 31,102 verses, so there is not central verse, but two central verses. They are the 15,551st and 15, 552nd verses in the Bible. Psalm 118:8–9 8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. God is so worthy of our TRUST. Imagine if every decision we make, we make KNOWING it to be in accordance with God’s will? How can I tell and promote that it is God who works the works we cannot work without the words written and inspired by him? 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There are the words that testify of a good matter, they speak of the potential fearfulness of terrors natural; though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Yet it is knowing who the God of Jacob is that causes us to rest, Selah. Now imagine that it is not only nature that stands against you but those who are the cause of the fall of all creation who now stand against you; 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. We live in a world where it is not only the natural elements, but the godlessness of men who stand against the Lord, the rage, the overturn | — | ||||||
