Good morning, I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you're here. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means? Mid-week, we're often running on fumes, grabbing food between tasks, barely tasting a thing. Today, we're going to slow that down together. This is Mindful Eating, Daily Guides to Conscious Nutrition, and I want to help you reconnect with one of life's simplest pleasures: actually enjoying what you eat. Let's start by finding a comfortable seat somewhere quiet, if you can. Close your eyes if that feels right, or soften your gaze downward. Just notice where you are right now, in this moment. There's nothing to fix or change. You're exactly where you need to be. Now, let's ground ourselves with three deep breaths. Breathe in through your nose for a count of four, hold it for a moment, and release slowly through your mouth. Again. In for four, hold, and out. One more time. Feel that? That's you telling your nervous system you're safe. That you have time. Here's what I want you to do today.
