Welcome back, friend. I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you're here on this Sunday morning in April. You know what I'm thinking about right now? That feeling when your mind is like a browser with forty tabs open, and someone asks you a simple question, and you just... freeze. That's what Sundays can do, right? They're supposed to be restful, but for so many of us, they're the day our minds finally have room to spiral through everything we didn't handle all week. So today, we're going to practice something I call the Anchor and Release technique, specifically designed to corral those runaway thoughts and bring you back to what actually matters right now. Let's start by finding a comfortable seat wherever you are. Whether that's your couch, your kitchen chair, or even just standing in your kitchen with your coffee, you belong exactly where you are. Take a moment to notice three things you can feel right now. Maybe it's the fabric beneath you, the temperature of the air, or your feet on the ground. Just notice them without judgment.
