Click on the audio icon to listen to this interview by our Pakistan-based correspondent Masood Mallhi. - ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮੇ ਮਹਮੂਦ ਆਵਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਾਹਪੁਰੀ ਲਹਿਜ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਅੱਜ UK ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਆਵਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ, ਸਗੋਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਲਹਿੰਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਮਸੂਦ ਮਲ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਸੁਣੋ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ, ਲਿਖਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਸੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਭਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
