| 6/21/26 | ![]() Inspiring Change and Connection: Dr. Eric Phillips Discusses Health, Fatherhood, and Community Dynamics | The way we care for ourselves today shapes the life we're able to live tomorrow. In this heartfelt conversation, Dr. Michelle Robin and Bayleigh Soza sit down with Dr. Eric Phillips, chiropractor, business owner, husband, and father, to explore what it means to pursue health with intention. Dr. Eric shares how fatherhood transformed his perspective on wellness, shifting it from personal goals to creating a life where he can remain present, active, and connected for generations to come. Together, they discuss the power of small, consistent habits, the importance of being where your feet are, the role of community in personal growth, and why true health extends beyond the physical body. Through stories of family, resilience, and lifelong learning, this episode offers a powerful reminder that investing in your well-being isn't selfish—it's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and those you love. Key Takeaways: Your health is not just for you—it impacts how you show up for your family, relationships, and community. Small, consistent habits often create greater long-term results than chasing the perfect wellness routine. Being fully present and "where your feet are" helps improve both personal well-being and relationships. Community, mentorship, and meaningful connections provide support, growth, and accountability throughout life. Prioritizing preventive wellness today can help create a stronger, healthier, and more capable future. His work and message center around health not just as a way to avoid pain, but as a foundation for energy, connection, purpose, and longevity. | 6/14/26 | ![]() Breaking Generational Cycles: Brandon McAnderson on Fatherhood, Partnership, and Legacy | Power is often found in presence, not perfection—and Brandon McAnderson brings that truth to life in this deeply reflective conversation. From redefining partnership through awareness and intention, to unpacking the inner stories men carry about identity, masculinity, and self-worth, Brandon shares a grounded perspective on what it means to show up fully in relationships, fatherhood, and community. He challenges the idea of "percentage-based love," inviting listeners instead into wholeness, reciprocity without scorekeeping, and intentional space-making for others to thrive. The conversation expands into a powerful exploration of storytelling—how the narratives we repeat can either reinforce limitation or unlock healing and growth. Brandon speaks candidly about ego protection, generational cycles, and the responsibility of rewriting inherited beliefs so the next generation can experience more freedom, connection, and authenticity. Through lived experience and cultural reflection, he offers a compelling reminder that breaking cycles begins with awareness, and community is often found simply by choosing to show up. Key Takeaways: True partnership is about showing up fully, not exchanging percentages of effort or love. When men detach from external labels, they can reconnect with their deeper sense of self and purpose. Many internal narratives are rooted in ego protection, not truth, and can be rewritten with awareness. Growth happens when we consciously choose to shift patterns passed down through family and culture. Transformation doesn't require perfection—just willingness to show up, participate, and engage. | 6/7/26 | ![]() Dr. Sean Cailteux on Men's Health, Chiropractic, and the Journey to Wellness | What if better health starts with the small choices you make every day? In this conversation, Dr. Michelle Robin and Bayleigh Soza sit down with Dr. Sean Cailteux to explore men's health, prevention, and the power of living with purpose. Drawing from his experiences as a chiropractor, father of five, and wellness advocate, Dr. Sean shares how movement, hydration, nutrition, and self-care create the foundation for lasting health and vitality. The discussion highlights the Four Quadrants of Well-Being and why true wellness goes far beyond being symptom-free. From the importance of proactive care and accountability to building strong community connections, this episode reminds listeners that investing in their health today helps them show up as their best selves for their families, careers, and communities tomorrow. | 5/31/26 | ![]() Heartfelt Wisdom: Jessica Love's Comprehensive Approach to Health and Wellbeing | A broken heart is never just emotional—it can become deeply physical. Nurse practitioner Jessica Love shares her powerful journey from ICU nurse to patient after experiencing stress-induced cardiomyopathy, also known as "broken heart syndrome," during her clinical training. What began as subtle symptoms of fatigue and chest pressure quickly escalated into a life-threatening cardiac event, reshaping everything she thought she knew about stress, health, and healing. Her recovery became a turning point, shifting her focus from treating disease in the ICU to preventing it through whole-person care. In this conversation with Dr. Michelle Robin and Bayleigh Soza, Jessica explores how chronic stress impacts the heart, why women's symptoms are often missed, and how nervous system regulation, awareness, and daily habits can transform long-term heart health. Key Takeaways: Broken heart syndrome can occur unexpectedly when chronic or emotional stress overwhelms the body, even in young and healthy individuals. Stress often shows up physically before it is emotionally recognized, with symptoms like fatigue, shortness of breath, and reduced energy. The heart and nervous system are deeply connected, meaning emotional regulation directly influences cardiovascular health and resilience. Women's heart symptoms are frequently subtle and can be overlooked, making awareness of early warning signs especially important. Daily practices like gratitude, movement, sleep, nutrition, and nervous system regulation can significantly support long-term heart health and prevention. | 2/15/26 | ![]() Bridging the Gap Between Gut and Brain: A Comprehensive Guide to Wellbeing with Dr. Georgia Nab | A thoughtful and educational conversation with Dr. Nab explores tremors, brain health, and the powerful connection between the gut and the nervous system. The discussion reframes symptoms as meaningful signals rather than issues to ignore, unpacking different types of tremors and potential root causes such as nutrient deficiencies, toxins, stress, and gut imbalances. With a functional medicine lens, the episode highlights the importance of early awareness, foundational lifestyle habits, and proactive brain care—showing how small, informed changes can support long-term neurological health and overall vitality. Key Takeaways: Symptoms like tremors are signals from the body, inviting us to look deeper rather than accept them as inevitable. Brain health is closely tied to gut integrity, nutrient status, and the body's ability to manage toxins. Foundational habits—movement, hydration, and whole foods—play a critical role in protecting cognitive health. Stress and nervous system overload can amplify underlying imbalances over time. Proactive testing and early awareness help put the odds in favor of long-term brain resilience and vitality. | 2/8/26 | ![]() Soulful Lessons from Ginger Rothhaas on Navigating the Human Experience | February invites reflection on self-love and compassion, making it the perfect time for a heartfelt conversation with author, speaker, and personal development coach Ginger Rothhaas. In this episode, the discussion explores why being human is hard — and how it can become gentler through self-compassion, awareness, and intentional practices. Drawing from her book Being Human: 150 Practices to Make It Easier and her work through Compassion Fix, Ginger shares how neuroscience, psychology, and spirituality intersect to help us navigate self-criticism, overwhelm, and disconnection. From the power of the Compassionate Pause to learning when it's time to make a personal "U-turn," this conversation offers grounded wisdom, hope, and practical tools for living with more ease, alignment, and kindness toward ourselves and others. Key Takeaways: Self-compassion is a learned skill that helps interrupt self-criticism and create emotional safety. Pausing to reflect on what's "mine to do" can shift overwhelm into clarity and empowerment. The way we talk to ourselves shapes our sense of worth, resilience, and hope. Compassion for self and others grows when we recognize our shared humanity. Small, intentional practices can realign us with our purpose and make being human feel lighter. About Ginger Rothhaas: Ginger is an author, speaker, and personal-development coach who helps people with the hard parts of being human. She works with clients in the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and theology to help them quiet racing minds, practice self-compassion, improve relationships, and trust their decisions. She founded Compassion Fix in 2017 by herself in Brookside and moved to a larger space in Leawood as she has built a team of 10 therapists and coaches who help children, teens, and adults navigate life. Ginger began her career as a change-management business consultant in a large firm. She also was an adjunct professor at Xavier University. And then at age 40 decided to go to seminary. She studied world religions and theology for four years, achieving a Masters in Theology and Divinity. Following that she became a coach, wrote a book, and founded Compassion Fix. Most importantly she is mom to Chase and Lauren, a college sophomore and a college freshman, one in Manhattan Kansas and one in Manhattan New York. She loves spending time in the flint hills of Kansas and swimming in the ocean as often as possible. Dr. Georgia Nabs explore why cholesterol is so misunderstood, the real story behind statins, and how inflammation, blood sugar, liver health, and lifestyle choices all intersect to shape heart health. Blending science, compassion, and lived experience, the conversation invites listeners to move beyond fear-based medicine and into empowered, informed, and proactive wellness—where education becomes the foundation for lasting health and vitality. Filled with practical tips, personal stories from her home remodel and gardening adventures, and guidance on Feng Shui and Chinese astrology, this conversation inspires action and transformation in everyday life. Key Takeaways: Feng Shui aligns your environment with your inner energy, promoting clarity, focus, and balance. Decluttering and intentional placement of objects can create immediate shifts in energy and perspective. The Year of the Snake is a time for reflection, shedding old patterns, and preparing for a major reset. Setting intentions in your space—through objects, layouts, or symbolic items—amplifies your goals. The upcoming Fire Horse year brings high energy, action, and leadership opportunities; preparation and mindful planning are key. About Shannon Bailey: Shannon Bailey, Founder of Fierce Feng Shui, has been telling people where to put it for over thirty years. Specializing in applying Western Feng Shui principles to homes, businesses and outdoor landscaping, Shannon has even done websites and virtual environments. She draws wisdom and inspiration from Western and Chinese Astrology, the I Ching, myth and symbolism across many cultures. After starting her career in the Midwest, she moved to the Bay Area for a decade and has now returned to Kansas City to play with flowers, dig in the garden, remodel old homes with her husband and tell him where to put it. Shannon, her husband, and 7 kitties (4 kitties moved in from outside) all reside in a 1908 Kansas City shirtwaist that was purchased pre-gutted, but had an amazing porch. The remodel has been slow, dusty, expensive, and exhilarating. The cats haven't been much help. Shannon is available for teaching classes and workshops, private consultations and Chinese Astrology.
