| 6/17/26 | ![]() This Human Life – What Matters Most: From Survivor To Advocate | Lyn Smith | Content Warning (CW): This episode discusses themes of sexual assault, which some listeners may find distressing or triggering. On this inaugural episode of the This Human Life podcast your host, Paul D. Lowe, talks Lyn Smith about three simple words that are actually an umbrella for a range of things: What matters most? In this case, Lyn decides to talk about injustice, both personal and global after being the victim of sexual assaults in her teens. KEY TAKEAWAYS The main injustice that affected me stemmed from a couple of nasty childhood experiences. I’m a two-time sexual assault survivor. This was in the 1970s when I was in my teens and I didn’t report it at the time. I only reported it when I was 42 years old. I was going to go to university to become a veterinarian, but that didn’t happen because my education was interrupted, I went totally off the rails in terms of academia and left school without the qualifications. At 19 I joined the police force, and I think that’s because of the injustice I felt at telling no one about it. It was shocking to me to see the stats around the amount of women who were making sexual assault claims that were false. That was very disheartening and a bit of a slap in the face for those of us that have genuinely been through that. I can understand why women don’t report it: A) Are you going to be believed if it genuinely has happened to you. B) You’re going to have to relive it all multiple times in the conversations you have with police officers, medical professionals, as well as in the court room. C) You see such trivial slaps on the wrists given to the perpetrators. It’s horrible to see women still not getting justice today even though women have a louder voice today. BEST MOMENTS ‘I could literally tell, or feel, which women were telling the truth or were trying to pull the wool over our eyes.’‘Worldwide the system is still failing women.’‘Women are murdered every week in intimate relationships behind closed doors on the back of a string of domestic violence reports.’‘It affected my future relationships, it also affects your nervous system, you’re living life at high alert all the time which puts stress on the body and brings health implications both physically and mentally.’ ABOUT THE GUESTS Lyn Smith – (The Queen of HEARTS) – Love, Dating & Relationship Expert Lyn’s personal story is a very inspirational and harrowing one of how she went from having unhealthy and unfulfilling relationships with men (on the back of several serious traumatic sexual assaults in her teens) to now feeling safe, fulfilled, alive, full of passion and having inner peace. She has a proven track record as a Love Solutions - Relationship Expert/ Trainer/ Inspirational Speaker and Best-Selling Author based upon her own vast personal research, experiential learning and training with the world’s leading industry experts. Lyn makes a difference by helping you make a difference; she has a vision of contributing back on a global scale. Hosted by Paul D. Lowe, Life Architect & Storyteller, the podcast offers a calm, thoughtful space where people share insight after life has been lived — not while it is being performed. Through unhurried conversations shaped by love and loss, courage and consequence, reinvention and meaning, guests reflect on the moments that have quietly shaped who they have become. There is no teaching, no persuading, and no expectation placed on the listener. Just lived experience, shared with honesty, humility, and care. More than a podcast, This Human Life is an invitation to pause, to listen more deeply, and to reflect on the lives we are shaping simply by living them. | 2/20/25 | ![]() Celebrating The Business of Building - Paul D. Lowe & Jose Berlanga | On this episode of the SoulScape podcast, our host - Paul D. Lowe, International Celebrant – talks to Jose Berlanga about his construction business and the make-up of a successful entrepreneur. KEY TAKEAWAYS I’ve devoted nearly three decades of my time to building in different sectors, but mostly in residential construction. This industry is so interesting and fun, but most people focus on the fun part and there’s very little material out there about the actual process that occurs behind the scenes of this business, like how to start and build a company in the construction industry. That's why I started writing my book, ‘The Business of Building’. I don’t think of myself as a builder, I’m more of an entrepreneur, someone who enjoys the business part of things, thew deal making, putting things together and building them, as opposed to other technical, more creative, and perhaps more artistic participants in this industry. Not all entrepreneurs are the same: Mission, objectives, the reasoning behind entering the career of entrepreneurship. But there are others that are very similar and necessary to succeed in the world of entrepreneurship: Discipline, consistency, repetition, persistence, having that itch or desire to always move forward, curiosity, being able to handle risk, tolerating a lot of pressure, and being able to handle uncertainty. When I’ve seen better results in my career and on my journey in the different experiences and businesses that I’ve started and built, is when I try to go and think beyond the financial aspects of the business. When I find the why and the mission, the logic and understanding of what I’m doing what I’m doing. BEST MOMENTS ‘This is not an easy industry, it’s so competitive, there are so many things that can go wrong at any given point'. 'I have never focused on the technical side of the business, I’ve always been on the business side, I like to oversee things'. ‘I believe that some entrepreneurs fear the regret of not attempting more than the risk of failing'. ‘The most important thing in business and entrepreneurship is your focus on making a difference and a contribution'. ABOUT THE GUEST Jose Miguel Berlanga, an entrepreneur from Mexico City with over 35 years of experience, has made a significant mark in Houston's real estate industry, notably through co-founding Tricon Homes. His diverse background, including degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and Philosophy, has fueled his success in various sectors, making him a source of inspiration and mentorship in the business community. He is the author of The Business of Home Building and is working on his second book. ABOUT THE HOST Despite a painful, traumatic childhood, Paul D. | 2/6/25 | ![]() Celebrating My Father's Life with Tom Fuller | On this episode of the SoulScape Celebrations podcast, host Paul – D. Lowe, International Celebrant –talks to Tom Fuller about their and our father’s lives. KEY TAKEAWAYS I was a very lucky child and a lucky man. I feel blessed when I listen to others that didn’t have the upbringing that I did. Not that I’d say it was the best ever, but I’m certainly grateful for my Dad, Anthony (Tony), bringing me up the way he did. I try to do the best I can from what Dad taught me, the Ps and Qs, it doesn’t cost anything to say thank you, be respectful to people. You can also look at some of the things you didn’t agree with and decide not to go down that road. Not everything that comes out of their mouth is 100% correct. When Dad passed, I wanted to give him a really good send off with a celebration of his life, passions and personality. As a customer painter I had a unique opportunity to design and paint his coffin. It was one of the most emotional days of my life, but one of the most rewarding as well. BEST MOMENTS ‘Dad’s love was just as powerful as Mum’s.’ ‘Being a teenager you’re trying to find your feet, but 99% of the time when I look back at it I realise he was right. But that means that 10% of the time I was right.’ ‘You can’t choose your family, I know some people who get on with other people’s families more than their own. There’s no rules.’ ABOUT THE GUEST Tom Fuller’s career started way back in the late 80's when fluorescent colours ruled and mullets were in fashion. Fast forwards a few decades and in 2007, Tom & Steve officially launched Image Design Custom and he hasn't looked back since. ABOUT THE HOST Despite a painful, traumatic childhood, Paul D. | 1/23/25 | ![]() Celebrating Celebrancy (2) – Paul D. Lowe (International Celebrant) & Susan Paul | On this episode of the SoulScape podcast, host Paul D. Lowe - International Celebrant – talks to Susan Paul about her journey into celebrancy and what celebrancy means to her. KEY TAKEAWAYS I felt like my life needed something more, I needed a better direction and a new journey to be on and I wanted to do more for people whether that was for babies being born, people getting married or in death. I want to be able to celebrate that person and tell a story about their life. As a celebrant you need to have the passion and the want to get to know a person. It’s deeper because you want to know what’s going on and about the person. There’s more emotion to it that it just being your 9-5 job. It’s a privilege for you to be invited in and to be given that trust. You can’t plan the perfect celebration to use in any instance, it’s their celebration. It’s what can I do for them? The best privilege is at the end for them to say their day was amazing, then you know you’ve done a good job because they’re happy. BEST MOMENTS ‘Everybody has a story, and everybody deserves to celebrate whatever the milestone is and whatever is going on in their lives'. ‘You have to take everybody in every situation as an individual and tailor it to what they are, what you feel, and what you get from the stories that they tell'. ‘People now are moving away from traditional weddings to choose what they would like, it’s personal now and it’s exciting. You can be who you want to be'. ABOUT THE GUEST Susan Paul is an Independent professional wedding and funeral Celebrant whose training was completed at the highly respected and recognized Academy of Professional Celebrants. She says: "Life is a journey filled with moments of joy, connection, reflection and farewell. As a celebrant, I consider it a privilege and an honour to guide individuals and families through these significant chapters in life, crafting ceremonies or eulogies that honour personal stories/journeys, making them unique with authenticity and care. My personal journey into celebrancy stems from some life experiences and losses I have had and just not having that ‘right’ person to share these times with. I have a deep passion for connecting with people and celebrating diversity of human experiences, whether this may be uniting two hearts in marriage or commemorating a loved one’s life with dignity, my focus is on creating meaningful heartfelt ceremonies that reflect the stories and essence of those involved." http://www.susanpaulcelebrant.co.uk ABOUT THE HOST Despite a painful, traumatic childhood, Paul D. | 1/9/25 | ![]() Celebrating Celebrancy (1) – Paul D. Lowe (International Celebrant) & Becky Young | The SoulScape Celebrations podcast – hosted by Paul D. Lowe, International Celebrant – is a heartfelt space where inspiring stories unfold, capturing the essence of life, love, and legacy. Drawing from his own journey from pain to peace, Paul shares the stories of remarkable individuals, encouraging listeners to embrace their own paths and create marvellous memories, and lasting legacies. More than just a podcast, SoulScape Celebrations offers inspiration and encouragement, inviting listeners to embrace their own journeys, celebrate personal milestones, and contribute to a life-enhancing legacy. Join us in crafting one story, one milestone, one celebration at a time. Each episode is an invitation to reflect, and to cherish moments that matter. Together, let’s celebrate the beauty of lives well-lived. On this inaugural episode of SoulScape Paul talks to Becky Young about what celebrancy means to her. KEY TAKEAWAYS Celebrancy is as simple as celebration. A celebration of somebody’s life that has passed on, somebody’s life that is just beginning, or a couple’s life that is just beginning in marriage. A celebrant is there to simply celebrate these occasions. Nowadays there’s so much social pressure; we always have to be doing the best we can, working hard, making sure we’ve got pensions and savings for a rainy day. It’s almost like a competition and I’ve been guilty of it myself. We’re so busy trying to achieve these social norms that we forget about the little things. I don’t want to be spending my life for my days off or for my holidays, I want to enjoy every day. I know that’s not always going to be possible, things happen and it’s not always going to be sunsets, rainbows and unicorns, but try to make the best of every day. That’s why I’m going into a life of celebrancy, to celebrate my life and other people’s lives. Life, death, love, these are all things we’re automatically programmed to do, they’re things we should be celebrating but our minds are so bogged down with day-to-day tasks (work, money, bills) that the stress of that takes over. We start thinking with the mind more than the heart and we miss out on so much by doing that. Life is a journey and it’s to be enjoyed as much as we possibly can. BEST MOMENTS ‘Celebrants should do it with passion, beautiful words, poetry. It’s definitely a skill, an art'. ‘Some people have the mindset of living in the moment, but it’s a difficult skill to get back even though it’s a skill we all have. I’ve learned this through having a life coach'. ‘All these pressures (financial, work) are sucking the happiness and joy out of celebrations for the majority of us'. ‘We forget that life is a gift and it’s short'. ABOUT THE GUEST Becky Young is a celebrant with her own company, Forever Young Ceremonies. She has been a prison officer and Dundee’s first female train driver, and is a trained Insite to Wellbeing Facilitator, as well as having a profound passion for writing and poetry. She says: “My love for words allows me to weave stories that resonate on a personal level, capturing the essence of human experiences. Whether crafting personalized verses for special occasions or penning heartfelt reflections, my writing is a powerful extension of my character - friendly, funny, professional, and deeply relatable.” Becky@ForeverYoungCeremonies.com ABOUT THE HOST Despite a painful, traumatic childhood, Paul D. | 11/7/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (11) - Paul D. Lowe & Keith Amoss | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Keith Amoss about the things he didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS Are you comfortable in not knowing? There’s something about us as humans where we’re not that comfortable with it, we like to have things mapped out, simple things like what we’re eating tonight, where we’re going on holiday, what time work starts in the morning, who you’re speaking to on Zoom that day. As you get older, personally speaking, you get a little bit more worried about it in some areas and less in others. Ignorance over the years has come to mean someone who is despised. But it’s also a choice, a deliberate act. You can choose to get involved in what’s going on in the US election, for example, form an opinion, change your mind, look again, or if you think it’s too demanding for your soul you can choose to think whatever happens over there happens and I have no influence. What is impossible to know when you’re 18 is how you body is going to be and how you are going to be physically. When you’re older we can all look back and think I wish I’d taken a bit more care or done some things differently. BEST MOMENTS ‘A deliberate choice not to want to know more about a thing, I think that’s reasonable'. ‘Do we get to a stage in our autumn years of deliberately deny ourselves, or not thinking about important things about our future health, how we’ll live and be looked after. Do we think it won’t happen to us?’ ‘Living in the moment is so powerful. It’s not an easy concept to get at first but once you get it you get it'. | 10/31/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (10) - Paul D. Lowe & Sergei Turkov | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Sergei Turkov about the things he didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS There’s a hidden history in every object that tells its true story. For example, why is the pencil you’re holding yellow? Most people don’t know why, but in the 19th century graphite came from China and American pencil makers painted them yellow to symbolise this. We should be curious and learn why things are the way they are. Research shows that giving to others activates the parts of the brain that makes you happy and more productive. It is what helps us to move forwards. A certain level of income doesn’t give you a significant boost of happiness, the biggest thing that helps us to move forward is relationship, then gratitude, flow, and helping others. We have to find and move with the right people who fill the gaps that we lack otherwise it’s challenging and complicated to move forward and evaluate which gaps we have in our flow. BEST MOMENTS ‘The qwerty keyboard is laid out like it is to avoid jamming in typewriters and to stop the operators from typing too quickly.’ ‘Helping others is one of the keys to making you happy.’ ‘Be kind to other people, it brings you much more back. Try to think more deeply about what makes you happy and try top concentrate on those things because your life will be much easier and brighter.’ VALUABLE RESOURCES Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (UK) Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (USA) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (UK) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (USA) Speaking From Our Hearts Books: Volumes 1-3 (Available on Amazon) World Game-Changers Group ABOUT THE GUEST Sergei Turkov is a former professional basketball player turned seasoned entrepreneur and professional in the Management, Logistics, and VC industries. | 10/23/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (9) - Paul D. Lowe & T M Hoy | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast, Paul talks to T M Hoy about the things he didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS Looking back on my life it’s been a history of mostly bad mistakes. The thing I’d like to talk about is that I wish I’d paid attention to just how right my mother was when she would criticise and guide me away from the easy way. Growing up, it was a fault of mine, I looked for the way out, the get-rich scheme, the way to jump the queue and get ahead without all the hard work. My mother constantly repeated – and she was right – that all of that was pissing away effort, time and money and that instead, the easy way is not the easy way and that it doesn’t work by and large, and that if you put the effort into doing something positive and work on it, in the end, it will be much quicker. Ultimately that paid off and I have changed my life quite a bit realising my mother’s wisdom. Choose something important to you, that you really like, want and need to do and pour your effort into that and master the toolsets that you need to acquire to achieve that. That’s where you need to focus your energy and your time, not on the easy way or route that people are promising results instantly, that’s bullshit. We’re fed the idea that wealth is the key to success and achievement. From one perspective, it can be. There are some people who highly value the opinion of others; they’re stuck in that materialistic paradigm. I learned that the world’s opinion matters very little in your personal life. The materialistic game that so many of us are taught to play is a rigged game that does not lead to happiness. When Marc says: “What is happiness? Where does it come from, and how do you get it?” you should know it’s a question he’s had the time to consider... a lot of time to consider. In 1995 Marc returned from an overnight business trip to his home in Thailand to find a panicked house guest and a dead person on the floor between them. His choices: go immediately to the police and turn his friend in for the murder he’d committed or help his friend cover up the murder and pray it was never discovered. Marc made the wrong decision and spent 5 years in Thailand’s most notorious prison with death and decay surrounding him, his well-being in constant peril, and happiness an elusive emotion of the past – one he’d surely never experienced again. But he did. From the depths of despair, bit by bit, he created his happiness – lasting happiness – and it saw him through the most difficult, painful period of his entire life. And now he’s ready to share the things he learned. LASTING HAPPINESS is a field guide for the rest of us as we go through life trying to find our happiness. | 10/16/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (8) - Paul D. Lowe & Paul Kelly | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast, Paul talks to Paul Kelly about the things he didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS One of the things I didn’t realise is how difficult life can be if you don’t keep things simple. When you’re young and free and you explore and try new things you can encounter difficulties you were unaware of because you don’t understand the great, wide world. Not everyone’s as nice as you are and the world can be a very cruel place if you don’t have that greater awareness. Having a greater awareness of you and where you’re at in any situation is what people need to learn. Who you’re with isn’t important a lot of the time, as long as you feel good and safe about yourself. People come and go, you need to focus on yourself and how you feel. When the internet first started everyone thought it was great, we could research things. But as it’s developed, with social media, the influence of money has grown and dominated every part of our society. School kids think they can be professional footballers and they’ll never have to work again or be influencers making millions on social media. BEST MOMENTS ‘From school, where things are very certain, you go out and look for variety in life and sometimes you don’t know the dangers that are hidden.’ ‘It’s very easy, as a young person, to get attracted to a particular crowd of people because they all support the same football team. These might look like nice people but they might be sheep in wolves clothing.’ ‘The power of using video conversations to heal people has recently struck a chord with me, it’s a very powerful tool because you go back and see how those conversations have evolved over time.’ VALUABLE RESOURCES Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (UK) Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (USA) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (UK) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (USA) Speaking From Our Hearts Books: Volumes 1-3 (Available on Amazon) World Game-Changers Group ABOUT THE GUEST Paul Kelly’s young parents divorced before he started primary school, resulting in him and his mother going to live with his loving grandparents. On his return to England, Paul was attacked after a night out and hospitalised, suffering temporary blindness, a double fractured skull and memory loss. After ten days in a coma, he awoke and started to try and rebuild his life; however, he encountered severe depression, suicidal thoughts, paranoia, and heavy drinking binges. | 10/9/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (7) - Paul D. Lowe & Sharon Griffiths | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Sharon Griffiths about the things she didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS I didn’t know how many people would still be with me or would have left me in this world, and I didn’t know how I’d feel about each one. I also didn’t know what I’d be doing now, or that my husband would say this on a regular basis: You’ve got an amazing talent, Sharon – pointing out the obvious! The mind is full of stuff we don’t know about, and suddenly up pops a thought. As a child, I rarely found adults to answer my questions, so I became very curious, and I’d have discussions with myself to get clarity on what I wanted to do and achieve. I didn’t know that was normal and that other people did it. If you have a challenge, it’s obvious that by stepping into that challenge/problem/issue, that’s where the solution is. You cannot think yourself out of where you’ve acted yourself into. By stepping into the challenge, you’ve acted yourself there. The only way to get out of it is not the way that took you there, it’s a different way of thinking. BEST MOMENTS ‘What may appear chaotic, confusing or something I may not know about, I either point out the obvious to myself or I ignore it because it’s not relevant to me.’ ‘If people talk to me about their problems, I used to get myself in trouble because I’d point out the obvious, and I learned to keep quiet because it wasn’t for me to do that to people..’ ‘I would often self-sabotage, I wasn’t aware that I was doing it but it was obvious from the outside and I was often told I was my own worst enemy.’ VALUABLE RESOURCES Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (UK) Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (USA) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (UK) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (USA) Speaking From Our Hearts Books: Volumes 1-3 (Available on Amazon) World Game-Changers Group ABOUT THE GUEST Sharon Griffiths lives in Essex, England with her husband and their three cats, and they have two daughters in their early twenties. She trained as a teacher and in September 1985, began her teaching career, initially with children in the 11-16 secondary sector; also teaching the complementary therapies of reflexology and massage to aspiring practitioners and people who wanted to learn these subjects. From 2001 to 2015, Sharon then focused on developing her complementary therapy practice and progressed to management roles in a large English local authority, developing thousands of learning and community programmes in the post-16 sector; working with hundreds of colleagues, tutors, trainers, sector specialists and community partners to enable tens of thousands of people to learn and develop a wide range of skills and interests. In 2017, Sharon and her husband began to follow another plan that of investing in property, to ultimately create greater choice in their lives, live their highest values, do what they love to do and always say at any point from then onwards… “No regrets and we did it our way” Email ABOUT THE HOST Paul has made a remarkable transformation from existing for many years in dark, desperate despair; to now living a really healthy, happy & fulfilling life. | 10/2/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (6) - Paul D. Lowe & Aimee Mosco | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Aimee Mosco about the things she didn’t know that she now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS I don’t think we’re meant to look back. This is contradictory to our experience as humans because every single thing that happens in our lives is for learning, so if you take that away the learning also goes with it. I take to heart having no regrets. Of course, there are things in life that you wish didn’t happen, that were painful, but if you’re honest with yourself and think about those things, you can identify the growth that came as a result. I’ve had some tangles with nature, I was nearly bitten by a rattlesnake, I was stung by a baby scorpion in my bathroom, and I was bitten 5 times by a black widow spider in a single attack in my bed, where we’re most vulnerable. After a lot of physical problems this I started to school myself on energy medicine, I learned there was a really strong message in that connection with that spider. In my ego mind I think it would have been great if that didn’t happen, but what would my life be like right now if I didn’t go down the path of studying energy medicine? What would I be missing if I didn’t have that experience? Spiders symbolize creation, transformation, balance, and harmony offering powerful healing qualities for mind body, and spirit. This happened just before a time when I had a great awakening, I think back to that spider energy medicine, and it was very appropriate for the time. It signaled a rebirth for me. BEST MOMENTS ‘I feel like I’m on a daily quest to learn new things, it’s always at the forefront of my consciousness. I’m always asking why, what, and how'. ‘All animals have something to say to us, there can be a really strong message in a connection with them'. ‘I didn’t know where I was going at the time but, looking back in hindsight, that particular year was a big year in my life and it had me looking at my demons'. | 9/25/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (5) - Paul D. Lowe & Richard Gerver | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Richard Gerver about the things he didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS We spend so much of our lives thinking that if we don’t know something it’s a weakness or a failure. I’d turn the entire thing around as a response and say: Things I didn’t know were that the things that I didn’t know, and I was confident about not knowing them, were my strength and my superpower. You learn nothing new by getting something right. You only ever learn something new from the point of a mistake or the realisation you don’t know something or can’t do something. That is the moment in your life where the magic happens and you’re going to evolve, develop and become something better than you were before you encountered that moment of ignorance. I used to take criticism of my writings or talks personally. But a wise person said to me: “Those are the people you’re impacting the most because you’re pushing them outside of their comfort zone, so don’t take offense by the people that respond badly, realise that you’ve started to catalyse change and development within them.” That was incredibly powerful, potent and important to me. In a time that’s becoming increasingly polarised and a world in which we see our differences as chasms between us, if only we could come together and realise and respect those differences and find out how we could harness those differences to make something magical, the world would be a lot better place. BEST MOMENTS ‘It’s being open to realising that you don’t know something or can’t do something and then having the confidence to step through the pathway of that ignorance.’ ‘I grew up too often believing that if I didn’t know something it was a sign of weakness rather than a moment of accelerated growth.’ ‘Every single human being is exceptional no matter their personal traits, academic level, how they view the world or life.’ ‘Real, deep collaboration can’t come from a gathering of like-minded people in an echo chamber, it can only come when you have a group of people that view the world differently and try to find a way to converge on a commonality of understanding.’ VALUABLE RESOURCES Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (UK) Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (USA) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (UK) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (USA) Speaking From Our Hearts Books: Volumes 1-3 (Available on Amazon) World Game-Changers Group ABOUT THE GUEST Richard Gerver has been described as one of the most inspirational leaders of his generation. | 9/19/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (4) - Paul D. Lowe & Lyn Smith | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Lyn Smith about the things she didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS I didn’t know, until I’d done a lot of work on myself, that things happen for you and no to you, and that you are in control of the things that you receive in your life, and that you don’t have to be the ‘victim’ of life, you can be the creator of your life. A person who has a happy life is a person who’s predominantly living from a place of love, abundance, trust and faith rather than the opposite, living from a place of lack, worry, fear and doubt. If you’re living from that place you’ll experience life very differently even if you experience the same things. People aren’t even aware that they’re sometimes living in a space of fear, doubt and worry because we’ve been subjected and conditioned to be in those negative experiences and emotions through the media, governments, our communities, peer pressure, bad parenting. When you become aware of that it’s very empowering to work on changing it. Self-love is quite hard for most of us because of our conditioning. Thes easiest way to start that process is to think of yourself as a little boy or girl, remember what they looked like, and then see them when you look in the mirror because it’s easier to love, comfort and give wise words of wisdom to them rather than your own reflection. Eventually you get to loving the reflection of you as you are today in that process. BEST MOMENTS ‘Always do your best to focus on coming from a place of love, abundance, trust and faith.’‘Everything is a self-fulfilling prophesy, whether positive or negative, and we attract what we focus on.’‘It’s important to be aware of your thoughts and focus on how you can change negative thoughts into positive ones before you go down a rabbit hole.’ VALUABLE RESOURCES Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (UK) Paul’s Story: Emerging From The Forest (USA) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (UK) Mastering The Game Of Life Book (USA) Speaking From Our Hearts Books: Volumes 1-3 (Available on Amazon) World Game-Changers Group ABOUT THE GUEST Lyn Smith is a world-renowned & respected Relationship Transformation Expert and author of the #1 best-selling book, 'The Cupid's Bow Technique'. | 9/11/24 | ![]() Things I Didn't Know (3) - Paul D. Lowe & Paul (PK) Kelly | On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul talks to Paul (PK) Kelly about the things he didn’t know that he now knows and thinks the world should know. KEY TAKEAWAYS Perception is a brilliant word: You might thing you’re doing a brilliant job, but someone might say you’re doing it all wrong. One of you might be right, one of you might be wrong, but it’s all about what people think. Our thoughts can be very powerful, and they can cause us to overthink and that’s when people can become stressed. It’s very difficult at times to park our thoughts and say: “Is that thought valid?” Being able to validate your thoughts is what it’s all about and discount the thoughts that don’t serve us. The power of detaching your emotions from a situation, good or bad, is a very difficult power to learn. But, if you can, you can see the positives in negatives or you don’t get too carried away with the positive. The ability to remain neutral is a fantastic thing. You need to let go. If someone’s done you wrong and you’re carrying around that black cloud above your head and thinking negative things about them, you should actually just go about your own business. Forget that bad experience, just let it go. It doesn’t serve you, it’s like carrying poison around with you and sipping it every day, it’s making you worse not better. BEST MOMENTS ‘There’s so many little things that you don’t really know, as you grow older you realise how little you do actually know'. ‘Being able to let go of those negative thoughts and move on to the next positive one is mastering the game of life'. ‘You’ve got to be able to forgive, not forget, but you have to be able to let go of that negative thought because it doesn’t serve us'. ‘With age comes experience of good and bad and how you can deal with things better'.
