In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the idea of renewing one’s wedding vows. John was recently at a wedding a month or two ago and he was taken by the wedding vows the bride and groom were articulating. John was thinking about how he and Ginger are going to Europe in a few weeks. And so they decided to renew their vows at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. John goes on to explain that creating the wedding vows was done aided by AI and Claude.The first step was articulating the life we want together today. Which is way different than the life John and Ginger envisioned when they got married 15 years ago. And then once the vision of the future marriage was created, the second step was to create the vows. John talks about how this whole process has been a great process. And during this conversation Kelly brings up the use of AI regarding all sorts of things. Not just business. John goes on to mention that in his new book he has a chapter on how the gap between the 2% in the 98% is widening. Because the 2% will actually use AI and the 98% dabble with it. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the personality profile known as the disc profile. Essentially what this is is it determines which of four personality types you are. Based on whether you do things fast or do them slow. And whether you are people oriented or task oriented. And one of the key things that comes from understanding this is you realize that approximately 70% of people are different than you. 70% of people are processing the very same information you are processing and coming up with different conclusions.Once you really grasp this, it makes your life much easier. They are not disagreeing with you in order to be obstinate. They’re just processing the same information differently than you are. But also here’s the key thing to appreciate. In most cases when people process information differently than you do, one person is right and one person is wrong. And the person that is right is one that has the opinion that is closest to what is actually true. What has been proven to be true in reality. So when people process information differently than you and it is contrary to what is proven to be true, they are processing information erroneously to their detriment. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John shared some startling facts about health and longevity. John says most people are fundamentally UNENLIGHTENED about their health. And admits that he was to, until about two years ago. Even though he was working out six times a week and eating well. But he was still unenlightened about medicine 3.0. Prevention and longevity.In this episode John talks about some key things that people typically don’t know. As an example, with cancer there has been no decrease in cancer in the last 20 years. And once a cancer gets out of the organ it starts in, your life expectancy is two and half years. That’s why early detection is so important. Additionally, being overweight and having high A1c substantially increases your likelihood of getting cancer.Then John talks about Alzheimer’s. If you have the Alzheimer’s gene, and 15% of people do, you have a substantially higher risk of getting Alzheimer’s. And if you have high A1c and are substantially overweight, you are at the same level of risk of getting Alzheimer’s that people that have the gene are.Then John goes on to talk about longevity. The number one factor in longevity is your cardio fitness as measured by your VO2 max. Number two factor in longevity is strength. In talking about medicine 3.0, it’s all about prevention. The foundation is getting your blood tested each quarter, then it’s reviewed by Dr., who then prescribes peptides and supplements to rectify the things you are deficient in.And the final thing that John points out is that according to Dr. Peter Attia, who just appeared on 60 minutes as the preeminent authority on health optimization in longevity, he says that when you turn 75, from a health standpoint, you literally fall off a cliff. You will see a 50% decline in the next 10 years or so in your cognition in your physical capabilities. If you do nothing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss why this 12 minute a day technique works. John opens the discussion by saying that it’s a combination of two things. It gives a person immense control over themselves. But that is coupled with intelligent success strategies. John points out that when he was in his 50s and was blessed to make 25 times the 200 – $300,000 a year he was making the prior 20 years, it was happening because of the immense control he had over himself. But it also included being able to implement key strategies. Such as being highly organized. Planning his day the night before and time blocking his days. Also setting aside time each week to deep think two times a week. Also being a conduit of learning. Where he had a system where he would listen to great content an entrepreneur needed. Such as marketing, employee empowerment, time efficiency.He also focused only on what moves the needle. Of course all that was reinforced in his life GPS template. So it was a combination of knowing the right strategies to apply coupled with having immense control over himself that caused his income to go up so much. During this discussion John and Kelly talk about how most people are disappointed that their intentions oftentimes don’t turn into reality. That’s because they are only setting their intentions with their conscious mind. The subconscious mind is responsible for the doing. And since 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious, you have to influence the subconscious mind. Otherwise you play the game of life at 5% of your potential.
