I often get asked what one should track when they start out with long form fasting on the Panda Diet. In this video, I give you my thoughts on what to track and why. However, be very mindful not to insert an obsessive compulsive approach from the traditional dieting world towards your fasting focused lifestyle. A big part of why I created the Panda Diet, which is my unique version of fasting, beasting and feasting, was to create the prison of traditional dieting and an emphasis on tracking and weighing everything. When we begin a journey, we want to learn and the best way to do that is total immersion. At that stage of the game or for any learning in general, tracking the metrics can be beneficial. But as you will see in the video, there are subjective markers that are far more important to track than things like your 'ketones'.
