You got a brand new identity in Christ. But are you still wearing the old clothes? Most of us know that something changed when we came to faith. What we're less sure about is what that means for how we actually live — what we put on, what we take off, and what we've let quietly stay in the closet because it still fits a little too comfortably. In episode two of our series A Life Unleashed, Christine Caine opens Colossians 3 and does what Paul does: gets practical. In this episode, Christine Caine uses the extended metaphor of a spiritual wardrobe to unpack one of the most practical passages in the New Testament. Since we have been raised with Christ, Paul says, there are clothes we used to wear that simply should not fit us anymore, and there is a brand new wardrobe hanging in the closet that most of us haven't fully tried on yet.  Christine is honest about what her old wardrobe looked like before Christ and what it meant to discover that those clothes were slowly destroying her life. She makes the case that getting dressed spiritually doesn't happen by accident any more than getting dressed physically does. It takes intentionality, daily decision, and a clear sense of who you are representing.
