About this episode

This episode features a 35-minute Classic Flow yoga session focused on breath-to-movement and mindfulness.

This is a 35-minute Classic Flow. This class features breath-to-movement pace and is rooted in various styles of Sun Salutations (half, lunging, traditional Sun A, Sun B). We will flow through a number of standing postures and won't stay anywhere too long. This class is a movement meditation and my body's answer to the mind's spinning, grasping, whirring. I practice this flow frequently and find it perfect for the days when I crave both movement and peace. Each posture is a chance to be present with your sensory experience; each inhale, exhale, and pause in between is your connection to the reservoir of peace and calm that resides within you. If you are looking to disconnect from the loops and grooves in your thinking and to arrive fully in your body, this class is for you. Minimal cuing, maximum flow. Enjoy! (P.S. I hope you love the fabulous live harp melody composed and played for you during Savasana by my talented daughter, Alessandra Hastings.)
