In this week’s episode of To Help You Heal, I’m continuing our series on confidence by talking about something many of us experience every day without even realizing it—negative self-talk. The truth is, the way we speak to ourselves didn’t just appear out of nowhere. That inner voice came from somewhere. It was shaped by experiences, environments, expectations, pressure, comparison, survival mode, and the things we picked up along the way. And so often, we don’t even question it—we simply assume it’s true. But what if the harshest voice in your life is the one inside your own head? In this episode, I talk about where that voice may have come from, why many of us developed patterns of pressure and self-criticism, and how awareness becomes the turning point for healing. I also share some of the ways I’ve personally learned to shift my internal dialogue—not through toxic positivity, but through curiosity, grace, and gentler questions.
