Best Language Learning Podcasts

CastFox tracks the Apple Podcasts Language Learning category every day and keeps the history, so this is chart data rather than an editor's shortlist. Between February 24 and September 8, 2026 we took 24 snapshots of the category top 100, saw 193 different shows pass through it, and followed each one across the 78 country charts we follow daily. The order below follows the most recent snapshot, so it moves as the chart moves.

This is one of the most stable categories on Apple. Every show in the live top 30 held a top 100 place in all 24 snapshots, and the top barely moves: Coffee Break Spanish averaged rank 1.0 across the window, 6 Minute English 3.3 and All Ears English Podcast 3.7. What varies is reach. 6 Minute English charts in all 78 countries we track and Learning English Conversations in 77, while several strong Spanish and Italian shows chart in fewer than 30.

The category is dominated by two target languages. English and Spanish learning shows account for more than half of the 100 highest-scoring shows here, and French and Italian take most of what is left. Formats split three ways: graded courses starting at absolute beginner, comprehensible-input shows that hand you slow real speech, and conversations between native speakers.
