| 6/22/26 | ![]() #218 - Walking Humbly with God in Weight-Loss | Ready for support as you learn to stop overeating, renew your mind, and walk in peace with food? 💗 Inside my coaching app, I help Christian women learn how to plan their meals, allow urges, and renew their minds so they can stop overeating and feel free around food. CHECK OUT THE CHRISTIAN WEIGHT-LOSS APP HERE Have you ever felt like peace is waiting on the other side of weight loss? If you could just lose the weight…finally get in control…finally reach your goal… Then you’d feel confident, peaceful, and happy. But what if peace was never found in a smaller body? In this episode, I’m sharing what God has been showing me through the book of Ecclesiastes and how it applies so powerfully to weight loss. Ecclesiastes describes life apart from God as “chasing after the wind”—and I couldn’t help but see how many of us do this with weight loss. We chase thinness believing it will finally give us what we’re looking for. Or we swing the other direction into indulgence—using food for comfort, relief, and escape. But neither obsession nor indulgence leads to peace. True peace and joy are found in walking humbly with God. In this episode, we talk about:• Why weight loss can quietly become a chase• The two extremes many women swing between: obsession and indulgence• Why peace isn’t found in achievement or pleasure• 4 practical ways to walk humbly with God in your weight-loss journey If you’ve been feeling exhausted by the constant striving, this episode will encourage you to slow down, reconnect with God, and find peace in the present moment. You do not need to wait until you’re thinner to walk in peace. That is available to you right now. — If this episode resonated with you and you’re ready to stop chasing peace through weight loss, I’d love to help you learn how to walk with God in a practical way with food and your health. 💗 Inside my app, I teach you how to stop overeating, allow urges, renew your mind, and create lasting freedom around food. | 6/15/26 | ![]() #217 - Proving & Hiding - Why We Keep Starting Over | 💗 FREE CHRISTIAN WEIGHT-LOSS GROUP CONSULT 💗 If you're tired of starting over with food and ready for practical, faith-based support, I'd love to invite you to our free Christian Weight-Loss Group Consult on June 18th at 10:00 AM PST. We'll discuss why we overeat, the thoughts driving our behaviors, and practical steps to create more peace around food. REGISTER HERE Proving or Hiding? Why We Keep Starting Over Have you ever noticed how quickly your mind tells you what you're not? "I'm not disciplined enough.""I'm not consistent enough.""I'm failing.""I'm behind." In this episode, I'm sharing a pattern I lived in for years during my own weight-loss journey: proving and hiding. When I believed something was wrong with me, I would either: • Prove myself by searching for another diet, another cleanse, or another set of rules. OR • Hide by avoiding the scale, stopping my meal plan, and overeating to feel better. What I eventually realized is that both behaviors were fueled by the same belief: "Something is wrong with me." In this episode, we'll discuss how these thoughts create emotional pain, why overeating often becomes a solution to that pain, and how to return to a place of safety, truth, and peace with God. If you've ever felt stuck in the cycle of trying harder, giving up, and starting over again, this episode is for you. In This Episode You'll Learn: • The difference between proving and hiding• The hidden belief that often fuels overeating• Why more food rules don't create lasting peace• How shame drives both restriction and overeating• Four practical steps to return to safety when you feel stuck• How God's kindness leads us toward lasting change Questions From This Episode: • Am I trying to prove something?• Am I hiding from something?• What am I believing right now?• Is this thought creating peace or panic?• What is my next faithful step? Scripture Mentioned: Proverbs 23:7"As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Romans 8:1"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 2:4"It is God's kindness that leads us to repentance." Connect With Me If this episode encouraged you, please subscribe, leave a review, and share it with a friend. | 2/9/26 | ![]() #201 - Why We Overeat in the Moment | Have you ever planned not to overeat… and then done it anyway? In this episode of the Christian Weight-Loss Podcast, we explore why we overeat in the moment, even when our intentions are sincere. This isn’t a willpower problem — it’s about what happens in the emotional brain and nervous system when stress, fatigue, or overwhelm take over. Using the story of Peter denying Jesus, we look at how good intentions can disappear in emotional moments — and why that doesn’t mean you’re weak, undisciplined, or broken. You’ll learn: Why the emotional brain overrides logic in the moment How stress and emotions drive overeating and emotional eating Why overeating is a nervous system response, not a character flaw How Jesus restores Peter after failure — and what that reveals about God’s response to us after we overeat Why freedom with food starts with understanding, compassion, and preparation, not shame God doesn’t meet us with condemnation after overeating. He meets us with restoration — and helps us prepare for the next moment. Free Class + Support If you want help applying this, I’m teaching a free class on why we overeat and the 4 steps to stop overeating. We’ll talk about emotional eating, food urges, and how to prepare for emotional moments so you’re not relying on willpower alone. | 2/2/26 | ![]() #200 - God Meets Us in Our Doubt | What do you do when God calls you forward — and doubt shows up instead of confidence? In this episode of the Christian Weight-Loss Podcast, we look at Moses’ calling in Exodus 3–4 and the five excuses he gave God — all rooted in identity, inadequacy, and fear. Moses believed God was powerful, but doubted himself. Sound familiar in your weight-loss journey? You’ll learn: Why Moses’ excuses were identity-based, not faithless How God responds to doubt with patience, provision, and authority What Moses’ story reveals about God’s character Why doubt doesn’t disqualify you in Christian weight loss How identity struggles, emotional eating, and follow-through are connected God doesn’t wait for confidence. He meets us in our doubt — and equips us as we obey. Free Class Invitation If you struggle with overeating, emotional eating, or doubt your ability to follow through with weight loss, join me for a free class this Thursday. | 1/26/26 | ![]() #199 - 5 Stop Over-Eating Battle Cries | Scripture doesn’t describe quiet affirmations — it describes bold declarations spoken before the victory. In this episode, we explore why a biblical battle cry must include who God is and who you are in Him, and how the enemy’s whispers about weakness and discipline keep us stuck in overeating. You’ll learn what makes a true weight-loss battle cry, why belief must be practiced, and the 5 stop-overeating battle cries that help you build real evidence through faith and action. “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” — Ephesians 6:10 Want support? 👉 Learn the 4 Steps to Stop Overeating in my free class. 👉 Join the Christian Weight-Loss App waitlist for ongoing support. | 20m 15s | ||||||
| 1/19/26 | ![]() #198 - The Year of Building Evidence | What if 2026 isn’t about trying harder—but about building better evidence? In this first episode of the year, we’re talking about how your brain looks for proof to support what it already believes—and how that’s been shaping your experience with weight loss, habits, and self-trust. You’ll learn why you’re not just observing your behavior… you’re reinforcing a story. And how, with intention, you can begin building evidence that actually serves you. In This Episode, You’ll Learn: Why your brain is always trying to prove you right How long-held beliefs shape what you notice about yourself A personal story that illustrates how changing a thought changes your experience How this shows up in weight loss and “falling off plan” A simple 3-step practice to help you build new evidence in 2026 Scripture Mentioned: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7 “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 The 3 Steps to Start Building Better Evidence: 1. Do a Thought Download Write your name or your weight at the top of a page. Write one sentence per line of everything your brain thinks about you and weight loss. 2. Notice Thoughts as Thoughts Practice saying: “Look at me thinking I can’t lose weight this year.” These are thoughts—not facts. 3. Build Evidence on Purpose Start noticing every time you: Stick to your plan Follow through Don’t quit after a mistake Stop making missteps mean something about who you are. A Word of Encouragement You don’t need a new personality. You don’t need more discipline. You need a new story—and the evidence to support it. As you think in your heart, so you become. | 12/8/25 | ![]() #194 - Peace In Weight-Loss: When the Journey is Hard | 💬 Episode Summary When you think about weight loss, does peace come to mind? For most women, the process feels anything but peaceful — it feels like a fight. But what if peace isn’t something you find after the struggle… what if it’s something you can practice in the struggle? In this episode, LeAndra shares how to experience the peace of Jesus even in the hardest moments of your journey. You’ll learn how to stop resisting your emotions, invite God into the process, and finally find calm in the middle of your cravings, urges, and doubts. Because peace isn’t the reward for progress — it’s the pathway to it. 🌿 Key Takeaways Peace isn’t a feeling you wait for — it’s a Person you walk with. Thinking “This is so hard” creates resistance — not peace. Real peace begins when you feel the emotion, not fight it. The Holy Spirit meets you in the moment, not after you’ve “got it together.” You can do hard things with peace because God is your strength. 🕊️ The Peace Practice A simple 5-step framework for calm in the moment: 1️⃣ Notice the thought that’s creating tension. 2️⃣ Name the emotion you’re feeling. 3️⃣ Breathe and let the feeling move through you. 4️⃣ Invite God into the moment: “Lord, help me feel this with You.” 5️⃣ Choose a faith-filled thought to carry forward. Peace isn’t the absence of hard — it’s the presence of Jesus in it. ✝️ Scriptures Mentioned John 14:27 – “My peace I give you; not as the world gives.” Isaiah 26:3 – “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” Philippians 4:6–7 – “The peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” 💭 Reflection Prompt Ask yourself: “What thought is stealing my peace right now?” Then pause, breathe, and invite Jesus into that very moment. 🙌 Call to Action If you’re ready to stop striving and start walking in peace, join the waitlist for The Christian Weight-Loss App — where faith meets food freedom and lasting transformation begins. ✨ Join the Waitlist | 20m 24s | ||||||
