Fastest Growing Health Podcasts in 2026: 18 Shows Ranked by Rank Movement
The fastest growing health podcasts in 2026 are led by HEALTH TALK AMERICA, Sisters In Sobriety, and hol+ with Dr. Taz MD, three shows that were absent from the US Apple Health and Fitness top 100 across our three prior chart snapshots and now hold average ranks of 34, 34.5, and 48. CastFox captured 24 snapshots of that chart between February 24 and September 8, 2026, and this post ranks the 18 shows with the largest upward move between the three most recent snapshots and the three before them.
This is a momentum list, not a quality list. It answers a narrower question than our best health and fitness podcasts of 2026 ranking, which rewards shows for holding a high rank across every snapshot. Here we reward change, which is what you want when you are looking for a show before its rate card catches up, a guest slot that is still open, or a competitor's next buy. Several of these shows have two appearances on the chart and no track record at all, and we say so on every card.
Every number below comes from CastFox chart data. Apple does not publish download figures, so nothing here is a download estimate, an audience size, or a revenue claim. For the shows that have held the top of this category all year, see the health and fitness podcast chart hub, and for the therapy and anxiety end of the category see the best mental health podcasts of 2026.

How We Measure Momentum on the US Health and Fitness Chart
A single day on a podcast chart tells you almost nothing. A health show can jump forty places because a guest clip went around on a Tuesday, then give the whole gain back by Friday. So instead of comparing one day to another, we average each show's rank across the three most recent snapshots we hold and compare that to its average across the three snapshots before them. The recent window here is September 8, September 4, and August 18, 2026. The prior window is August 8, July 31, and July 15, 2026.
The difference between those two averages is the number we rank by. A show that went from an average of 91 to an average of 42, as Chiro Hustle did, is up 49 places. That figure is resistant to a one-day spike in a way a raw rank change is not, and it is the same method we use for the rising this month section inside every CastFox genre listicle.
Shows that were not in the top 100 on any of the three prior dates are a special case. We do not invent a rank for them, and we do not claim they climbed from a position they never held. They are labeled as outside the top 100 in the prior window and sorted to the front. Two of them, HEALTH TALK AMERICA and Well Beyond Medicine, are not arrivals at all: they appear in 16 and 18 of our 24 snapshots respectively, dropped out over the summer, and came back. Their cards say so. The snapshot count printed on every card is the fastest way to tell those two stories apart.
The 18 Movers in One Table
Read this table with the snapshots column next to the rank change column. A large move with 2 of 24 snapshots is a debut. A smaller move with 24 of 24 snapshots is a show with a floor that is grinding upward, which is a different and often more durable thing.

New Health and Wellness Podcasts 2026
These ten shows share one trait: they were not in the US Health and Fitness top 100 on any of the three prior snapshot dates, and they were on it in the recent window. Eight of them are genuine first entries for our data. Two, HEALTH TALK AMERICA and Well Beyond Medicine, are chart regulars that went missing in July and August and came back, which is a different story and is labeled that way on their cards.
#1. HEALTH TALK AMERICA
Hosted by Radio America
About this show: A health talk radio program hosted by Dr. Adam Brockman and Dr. Bob Martin, formerly known as The Dr. Bob Martin Show. Its own description puts it on more than 200 US radio stations and more than 30 years on air, with recurring segments called Health Alternative of the Week and Health Mystery of the Week. The feed holds 1,000 episodes.
Why it is moving in 2026: This is the largest single move in the data at 67 places, and it is a return rather than a debut. The show appears in 16 of our 24 snapshots, was absent from all three snapshots in the prior window, and came back at an average rank of 34 with a best of 29.
Best fit for: Listeners who want a broadcast-style health show with call-in questions, and advertisers comfortable with an alternative health slant.
#2. Sisters In Sobriety
Hosted by Sonia Kahlon and Kathleen Killen
About this show: Sonia Kahlon and Kathleen Killen went from sisters-in-law to what the show calls Sisters in Sobriety, and the feed is 169 episodes of conversation about sobriety, recovery, and the wellness habits around them.
Why it is moving in 2026: It moved 66.5 places, the biggest gain of any genuine first entry here, arriving at an average rank of 34.5 with a best of 34. It has cleared the top 100 on only 2 of our 24 snapshot dates, both of them in the recent window.
Best fit for: Anyone building a sober or sober-curious routine, and brands in the non-alcoholic and wellness space.
#3. hol+ with Dr. Taz MD | The Future of Medicine is Holistic
Hosted by Dr. Taz MD
About this show: Dr. Tasneem Bhatia, who the show describes as a triple board-certified physician in integrative, functional, and holistic medicine, hosts 399 episodes built around treating the whole patient rather than a symptom. She founded hol+, which runs clinics in Atlanta, New York City, and Los Angeles.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 53 places to an average rank of 48, with a best of 44. Two appearances out of 24 means a fast arrival and no track record on the chart yet.
Best fit for: Listeners already inside the functional and integrative medicine world, and supplement or clinic brands selling to them.
#4. Well Beyond Medicine: The Nemours Children's Health Podcast
Hosted by Nemours Children's Health
About this show: The podcast of Nemours Children's Health, a pediatric health system. Its description frames the show around children's health where it starts, at home and in the community, rather than inside a hospital.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 41.5 places to an average rank of 59.5. Like Health Talk America this is a return, not a debut: it is in 18 of our 24 snapshots and holds the best single rank in this entire set at 19, but it was outside the top 100 across all three prior dates and sat at 100 on the latest one.
Best fit for: Parents and pediatric professionals, and healthcare brands that need an institutional rather than influencer voice.
#5. Move Well, Live Well, Perform Well
Hosted by Simon Gilchrist
About this show: Simon Gilchrist, a sports physiotherapist and the founder of Mayfair Health and WellQ, hosts weekly expert conversations on movement, training, injury recovery, and burnout. The feed holds 28 episodes.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 39.7 places to an average rank of 61.3, with a best of 43 that it still held on the most recent snapshot. It has appeared on 3 of 24 dates.
Best fit for: Athletes and desk workers dealing with a specific injury, and physiotherapy or recovery brands.
#6. Normalize It Forward
Hosted by Marc Lehman
About this show: Marc Lehman's 55-episode feed is aimed at the transition into college and the years after it, and at the stigma the show says keeps young adults from asking for support.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 36.3 places to an average rank of 64.7, with a best of 48. Four appearances out of 24 puts it just past the single-week mark.
Best fit for: Students, parents of students, and campus wellness programs.
#7. Christian Natural Health
Hosted by Dr. Lauren Deville
About this show: Dr. Lauren Deville, a naturopathic physician practicing in Tucson, Arizona, covers nutrition, sleep, hormones, and exercise from a stated biblical perspective, with a weekly bonus episode on a Bible passage. The feed holds 309 episodes.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 34.7 places to an average rank of 66.3, with a best of 61. It charts in 3 countries and appears on 3 of our 24 dates.
Best fit for: Faith-oriented listeners looking for natural health content, and brands that want that specific overlap.
#8. Learned the Hard Way with Kier Gaines
Hosted by iHeartPodcasts
About this show: An iHeartPodcasts show hosted by Kier Gaines, a licensed therapist, about what the feed describes as the pressure, grief, joy, and grind of being a man today. Twenty-four episodes so far.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 18.5 places to an average rank of 82.5, having been outside the top 100 on all three prior dates. It reached a best rank of 35 earlier in our window and was off the chart again on the most recent snapshot, so this one is genuinely unsettled.
Best fit for: Men's mental health audiences, and advertisers who want a network-produced show with a therapist host.
#9. The Art of Being Well
Hosted by Dear Media, Will Cole
About this show: Dr. Will Cole's functional medicine show, produced by Dear Media, with 505 episodes on nutrition, mind, body, and relationships framed as self-care rather than optimization.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 15.7 places to an average rank of 85.3, with a best of 78 and a presence in 5 countries. It is an old feed that is new to our recent window, appearing on 3 of 24 dates.
Best fit for: Wellness listeners who want an established host, and consumer brands looking for a Dear Media adjacency.
#10. 🎙️ Rebuild & Fulfill Real conversations on burnout, rebuilding, and becoming stronger than before.
Hosted by Kelsey Dunbar and Marc Rogala
About this show: Kelsey Dunbar and Marc Rogala host 38 episodes for what the show calls high-functioning adults who have burned out, covering resilience, identity, and the pressure of always being the strong one.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 14.5 places to an average rank of 86.5, with a best of 73. Two appearances out of 24 makes this the thinnest record in the section.
Best fit for: Managers and high-output professionals dealing with burnout, and employer wellness programs.
Health Podcasts Climbing the Charts From Inside the Top 100
These eight shows never left the chart. They were inside the top 100 in both windows and moved up, which means the gain came from beating other charting shows rather than from arriving. Three of them are in all 24 of our snapshots, so the rank change sits on top of a long record you can check rather than a single good week.
#11. Chiro Hustle
Hosted by Jim Chester and Luke Millett
About this show: Jim Chester and Luke Millett run 400 episodes of interviews for the chiropractic profession, which the show describes as a free speech platform for that field.
Why it is moving in 2026: It moved up 49 places between the two windows, the largest gain of any show that stayed inside the top 100, from an average of 91 to 42, and it held its best rank of 38 on the most recent snapshot.
Best fit for: Chiropractors and practice owners, plus vendors selling into clinics.
#12. Get Better Faster
Hosted by Jason Bradley & James Chester
About this show: Jason Bradley and James Chester host alongside Dr. J and Rachel across 52 episodes, mixing traditional practices with current medical research for listeners dealing with autoimmune and chronic conditions.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 37 places to an average of 39, from a prior average of 76, with a best rank of 37 that it held on the latest date. It appears in 5 of our 24 snapshots.
Best fit for: Listeners managing a long-term condition who want second opinions, and practitioner-led brands.
#13. Sunday Reset w/ Will & Friends
Hosted by Mental Health w/ Will
About this show: A conversation series in which Will talks with guests about mental health, personal growth, relationships, and identity. The feed holds 44 episodes.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 28 places to an average of 67 from a prior average of 95. It is in 13 of our 24 snapshots with a best rank of 20, but it sat at 88 on the most recent date, so the average is doing a lot of work here.
Best fit for: Listeners who want a weekly reset rather than a clinical show, and lifestyle brands.
#14. The Thyroid (and Hormone) Fixer Podcast: Thyropause, Menopause, Metabolism and How to Fix It
Hosted by Dr. Amie Hornaman
About this show: Dr. Amie Hornaman, a functional medicine doctor and former fitness model, has built 660 episodes around hypothyroid disorder and hormone health, including fatigue, hair loss, weight gain, and brain fog.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 23.3 places to an average of 21.3, the best recent average rank of any show in this data, from a prior average of 44.7. It is one of only three shows here that appear in all 24 of our snapshots, and its best rank of 11 came on the latest one.
Best fit for: Women working through thyroid and hormone issues, and supplement or telehealth brands in that category.
#15. The Peter Attia Drive
Hosted by Peter Attia, MD
About this show: Dr. Peter Attia, a Stanford and Johns Hopkins trained physician, runs 455 episodes of long interviews on longevity, performance, and how to reason about medical evidence.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 19.7 places to an average of 23.7 from 43.3, present in all 24 snapshots, and by far the most international show in this set at 57 countries on the latest date.
Best fit for: Longevity-minded listeners, and advertisers who need reach outside the US from a single buy.
#16. Boring Books for Bedtime Readings to Help You Sleep
Hosted by Sharon Handy
About this show: Sharon Handy reads deliberately dull public domain material aloud to help listeners fall asleep, across 414 weekly episodes the show describes as ad-free and AI-free.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 16.5 places to an average of 70 from 86.5, in 19 of our 24 snapshots, with a best rank of 65 and a presence in 4 countries.
Best fit for: Insomniacs and sleep-routine listeners. Note that the show states it does not carry ads, so treat it as an audience signal rather than a buy.
#17. Pleasure Project: Sex and Relationships
Hosted by Dr. Jenn Kennedy, PhD, LMFT
About this show: Dr. Jenn Kennedy, a marriage and family therapist specializing in couples and sexuality, covers relationships, communication, attachment, and dating across 90 episodes.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 16.3 places to an average of 31.7 from 48, and it is one of the steadier shows here, appearing in 20 of our 24 snapshots with a best rank of 24.
Best fit for: Couples-therapy and relationship audiences, and brands that need an expert-hosted show in a category many advertisers avoid.
#18. Therapy and Theology
Hosted by Lysa TerKeurst
About this show: Lysa TerKeurst hosts with licensed counselor Jim Cress and Dr. Joel Muddamalle of Proverbs 31 Ministries, working through grief, trauma, and forgiveness across 99 episodes.
Why it is moving in 2026: Up 14 places to an average of 49 from 63, present in all 24 snapshots, with a best rank of 21 and a presence in 4 countries.
Best fit for: Faith-based listeners working through a hard season, and publishers or ministries reaching that audience.
How to Read an Up and Coming Wellness Podcast Before You Act on It
Trending fitness podcasts this month are often long-running feeds
Several shows in the first section have been publishing for years and are only new to the chart. The Art of Being Well has 505 episodes, hol+ with Dr. Taz MD has 399, and Christian Natural Health has 309. What changed is distribution or promotion, not the existence of the show. That matters commercially, because a feed with a back catalog can absorb a sponsor or a guest immediately, while a 24-episode feed like Learned the Hard Way with Kier Gaines is still deciding what it is.
Check the snapshot count before you believe the move
Appearances are printed on every card for a reason. Two of 24 means the show cleared the top 100 twice in seven months. Twenty-four of 24 means it has never dropped out. The Thyroid (and Hormone) Fixer Podcast, The Peter Attia Drive, and Therapy and Theology all sit at 24 of 24 and still gained ground, which is the strongest combination in this data. Pleasure Project: Sex and Relationships at 20 of 24 and Boring Books for Bedtime at 19 of 24 are close behind.
Country count separates a US story from a global one
The countries column counts how many national top 100 charts a show appeared in on the most recent snapshot, out of the 78 CastFox tracks. The Peter Attia Drive is in 57. The Art of Being Well is in 5, and Boring Books for Bedtime and Therapy and Theology are in 4. Most of the rest are in one, which makes them US buys. Neither shape is better, and a brand shipping to three countries should not pay for reach in 57.
Credentials matter more in health than in any other category
Health is the category where a chart position is least likely to be the whole story. Several shows here are hosted by licensed clinicians and say so plainly in their own descriptions: a physiotherapist on Move Well, Live Well, Perform Well, a naturopathic physician on Christian Natural Health, a marriage and family therapist on Pleasure Project, a licensed therapist on Learned the Hard Way. Others sit in alternative or faith-based health, which is a legitimate audience and a different advertising risk profile. Read a couple of episodes' worth of claims before attaching a regulated product to any of them.
Momentum decays faster than rank
Rank movement is the least stable signal in podcast data. The shows here with two or three appearances are the most likely to disappear from the list within weeks, and that is normal rather than a failure. Learned the Hard Way with Kier Gaines is the clearest example: it reached a best rank of 35 inside our window and was off the top 100 entirely on the most recent snapshot. If you are building a target list off this post, treat the top section as a watchlist and the bottom section as a shortlist you can act on now.
What This Means for Advertisers, Guests, and Hosts
A climbing show is usually cheaper than its audience deserves, because rate cards lag the chart by months. That is the entire commercial argument for a list like this. The risk is the mirror image: you may be paying for a peak that has already passed. The workflow below is the one we recommend for turning any of these eighteen names into a decision, and it is the same four steps CastFox is built around.
Discover: build the list from the chart, not from memory
Start from the data rather than from the shows you already listen to. CastFox discovery searches by genre, country, topic, and chart movement across the same snapshots used here, so you can widen this list to the full health and fitness category or narrow it to a sub-genre such as mental health or nutrition.
Analyze: check whether the climb held
Open the show profile and look at the chart history rather than a single number. The analyze step shows rank over time across 78 countries, detected sponsors and promo codes, episode cadence, and audience estimates. A show with supplement or telehealth sponsors already running has proven the format converts in this category. A show like Boring Books for Bedtime, which states it carries no ads at all, is an audience signal rather than a buy.
Organize: group the list by the decision you are making
Eighteen shows is too many to pitch at once and too few to pick from at random. Organizing them into lists by country reach, cadence, and sponsor status turns the table above into three workable groups: shows with real international reach, US-only tests, and watchlist names you revisit next month.
Pitch: reach the show while the slot is still open
The advantage of a climbing show is timing, and timing is lost in the inbox. The pitch step carries verified contacts and templates, and our podcast guest pitch template covers what to say once you have the address. For sponsorship specifically, read how to vet a podcast before sponsoring it and our guide to podcast advertising for healthcare and wellness brands first.
Methodology: Where These Numbers Come From
CastFox captures the Apple Podcasts top 100 for every genre in 78 countries and stores each capture as a dated snapshot. This post uses the US Health and Fitness chart only. We hold 24 snapshots of it between February 24 and September 8, 2026. For each show we averaged its rank across the three most recent snapshots and across the three before them, then ranked by the difference, largest first. Shows missing from the top 100 across the entire prior window are sorted ahead of the rest and labeled as outside the top 100 rather than assigned a rank.
Show details, including host names, credentials, episode counts, and subject matter, come from the podcast's own feed description and its CastFox profile. Nothing on this page is a download estimate, an audience size, or a revenue figure, because Apple does not publish any of those and we do not model them into a chart post. Nothing here is medical advice, and a high chart position is not a judgment about the accuracy of anything a show says.
Two shows in the top 20 by rank movement are not profiled here. The Health Perspective entered the chart in the recent window at an average rank of 63, and a Persian-language show listed as این نقطه moved up 19.2 places, but we hold no usable feed record or English description for either one, so there is nothing we could say about them that we could support. They are excluded from the cards and from the table rather than padded with guesses, which is why this post covers 18 shows instead of 20.
Snapshots are not taken at a perfectly even cadence, so the two windows here span different numbers of calendar days. That is a real limitation of chart data and it is why we treat every figure in this post as a direction rather than a measurement.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the fastest growing health podcasts in 2026?
Across 24 snapshots of the US Apple Health and Fitness chart between February 24 and September 8, 2026, the largest upward moves belong to HEALTH TALK AMERICA at 67 places, Sisters In Sobriety at 66.5, and hol+ with Dr. Taz MD at 53. All three were absent from the top 100 across the three prior snapshots. Among shows that stayed inside the top 100 in both windows, the biggest gains are Chiro Hustle at 49 places, Get Better Faster at 37, and Sunday Reset w/ Will & Friends at 28.
What are the trending fitness podcasts this month?
In the three most recent CastFox snapshots, taken on September 8, September 4, and August 18, 2026, the health and fitness shows with the strongest recent standing among the movers are The Thyroid (and Hormone) Fixer Podcast at an average rank of 21.3, The Peter Attia Drive at 23.7, Pleasure Project: Sex and Relationships at 31.7, and HEALTH TALK AMERICA at 34. Momentum here means rank movement between two three-snapshot windows, not download counts, which Apple does not publish.
Best new health podcasts 2026: which ones should I start with?
Eight shows in this data entered the US Health and Fitness top 100 for the first time in the recent window. Of those, The Art of Being Well has the deepest back catalog at 505 episodes, followed by hol+ with Dr. Taz MD at 399 and Christian Natural Health at 309, so they are the easiest to sample. Learned the Hard Way with Kier Gaines is the newest at 24 episodes, and Rebuild & Fulfill has the thinnest chart record at 2 appearances out of 24.
Are up and coming wellness podcasts worth advertising on?
Sometimes, and the deciding factor is usually whether the climb held. A show that appears in 2 of 24 snapshots has proven one good week; a show like The Thyroid (and Hormone) Fixer Podcast, which is in all 24 and still gained 23.3 places, has proven both a floor and a direction. Newer shows are typically cheaper and less crowded with ads, so the trade is lower cost against thinner evidence. Health is also a category where claims are regulated, so vet the host's credentials as carefully as the rank.
How is this list ranked?
We average each show's US Apple Health and Fitness rank across the three most recent chart snapshots and across the three snapshots before them, then rank by the difference. A show absent from the top 100 in the prior window is treated as outside the top 100 rather than given a number, and we label it that way instead of quoting a rank it never held. All the underlying chart data comes from CastFox.
How often does this list change?
The chart is captured repeatedly and this comparison uses a rolling six-snapshot window, so the order can change within days. Shows with 2 or 3 appearances out of 24 are the most volatile part of the list and several of them will not be in the top 100 next month. The shows present in all 24 snapshots, such as The Peter Attia Drive and Therapy and Theology, move far more slowly.
