Health and Fitness Podcast Sponsors in 2026: 139 Brands

Who Sponsors Health and Fitness Podcasts in 2026? 139 Brands Across the Top 40 US Shows

The health and fitness podcast sponsors buying the most inventory in 2026 are supplement companies, sleep and bedding brands, and one mental health service. CastFox scanned 961 episodes from the top 40 US health and fitness shows and detected 1,404 host-read ad reads from 139 distinct brands. Only 21 of those 40 shows carried even one detected ad read, so a top chart position and a sponsorship history are not the same thing.

This post is for brands and agencies deciding where health and fitness budget should go, and for hosts who want to know which companies actually buy in this category. It lists the brands that advertise on fitness podcasts most often, groups them by category, shows the sponsor roster for every show where we found ads, and explains what the shows with no ad reads tell you. Every number here comes from CastFox chart and ad-read data, not from a media kit.

If you need rates rather than rosters, start with Podcast Advertising CPM by Genre 2026. If you have a show in front of you and a quote to judge, read How to Vet a Podcast Before Sponsoring It.

Who Sponsors Wellness Podcasts: The 16 Repeat Health and Fitness Podcast Sponsors

A brand that buys one show may have been sold once. A brand that buys three or four has a category strategy, and that is the list worth copying. Of the 139 sponsors CastFox detected, 16 appear on two or more of the top 40 US health and fitness shows. Helix Sleep leads with 5 shows and 77 detected reads, followed by BetterHelp on 4 shows.

Two patterns stand out. First, the sleep and mental health brands at the top of the table buy across formats: Helix Sleep appears on a neuroscience show, a sleep-story show, a talk show, and a celebrity interview show, which suggests the target is a mood rather than a topic. Second, the supplement brands cluster on a small number of host-led shows and buy heavily there instead of spreading thin. BODYHEALTH has only 2 shows but 44 detected reads, which is a depth strategy, not a reach strategy.

Sponsor names are recorded as they are read aloud, so brand variants are counted separately. Function and Function Health are the same company under two spoken names, with 33 detected reads between them across 5 shows, which would put it near the top of this table if the two rows were merged.

Supplements, food and drink is the largest group at 375 detected reads across 18 brands. That is the practical answer to what sells on health podcasts: consumables and things you sleep on. The non-endemic group is smaller at 193 reads, and 77% of that sits on one talk-format show, The Dr. John Delony Show, rather than being spread across the category, so a non-endemic brand buying here is really buying a host, not a genre.

For a brand planning a first health and fitness flight, the useful read is the fourth column. A category with several brands on two or more shows has a working playbook that competitors have already validated. A category with none has either not tested podcasts yet or tested and stopped, and both are worth knowing before you commit a budget.

Supplement Companies That Sponsor Podcasts

Supplements are the single biggest advertiser group in this category. CastFox detected 375 ad reads from 18 supplement, food, and drink brands across the top 40 US health and fitness shows, and 4 of them run on more than one show.

The buying pattern here is different from sleep or telehealth. Most supplement brands in the table sit on one show and buy it repeatedly, often as a recurring read in every episode. The Ultimate Human with Gary Brecka alone accounts for 310 detected reads from 15 brands, and The Dr. Gabrielle Lyon Show for 66 reads from 15 brands. If you sell a supplement, those two rosters are your competitive set.

Promo codes are the tell. A brand running a unique code per show is measuring the buy, and a brand running the same code everywhere is not. Codes like LYON20, ULTIMATE20, and DRLYON in the table are show-specific, which means those advertisers can see what each placement returns and will renew or cut on the numbers rather than on a relationship.

Read the first two columns together. The Dr. John Delony Show has the most detected reads at 350 across 12 brands, which is a mature, well sold show with a rotation of endemic and non-endemic advertisers. Huberman Lab has 128 reads from 14 brands and the widest country reach in the table at 78 of 78, which is why it draws national advertisers that never touch the rest of the category.

Shows near the bottom of the table need a second look rather than a quick conclusion. On Purpose with Jay Shetty and Get Sleepy: stories for sleep each show 5 detected reads, which for shows of that size means most of their monetization is running through channels this method does not see, such as network-inserted spots or their own products. A low count is a reason to ask a show what it sells and how, not evidence that its inventory is cheap.

The 19 Top-40 Shows With No Detected Ad Reads

Almost half the top 40 carried nothing we could detect. That does not always mean the show has no sponsors. It can mean the show sells its own products instead, runs pre-roll inserted by a network rather than read by the host, or simply has not had recent episodes processed. But as a starting point it is the most useful list on this page, because an unsponsored show at the top of the chart is either an opportunity or a warning depending on why it is empty.

Two groups sit in this table. The first is large, established shows with deep catalogs and broad reach that clearly monetize another way, through a membership, a book, a course, or a network deal that does not use host reads. The second is shows with a strong US rank and very narrow country reach, which is the profile CastFox flags in our vetting checklist as worth a closer look before you accept an audience claim.

If you are buying, treat this list as a prospecting list rather than a rejection list. Ask the show directly whether it accepts host-read sponsorship, what the last advertiser paid, and why the slot is open. The answer tells you more than any media kit.

How to Get Sponsors for a Fitness Podcast

The data above is also a target list if you are the one selling. The 16 brands running on two or more shows have already decided this category works, have creative ready, and have a person whose job is to place the next buy. Pitching them is a shorter conversation than convincing a brand that has never bought a podcast ad.

Start with the brands already in your format, not your topic

Helix Sleep is on a neuroscience show and a sleep-story show. BetterHelp is on a talk show, a sleep show, and a meditation show. Both are buying a listening context rather than a subject, so a show that matches the context has a real case even if the topic looks different. Write the pitch around when and why people listen, and name the show in their current roster you most resemble.

Bring a number the buyer can verify

Chart consistency travels well because the buyer can check it. A show in a genre top 100 on 24 of 24 snapshots over six months is making a claim that stands up, and it is the same signal advertisers use to filter. Pair it with your hosting-platform download figure for the last 30 days per episode and your country split, and skip the vanity totals.

Offer a unique promo code from the first email

Every repeat sponsor in the tables above runs codes. Offering a show-specific code before you are asked signals that you expect to be measured, which is the single most persuasive thing a small show can do. It also means your renewal conversation is about a conversion number rather than a download number.

Ask for a two-episode test, not a quarter

Most of the one-show brands in this data started with a short flight on a single show. A two-episode test with a code and a clear reporting promise is easy to approve at a level that does not need a media plan, and it is the standard way this category opens an account. Our guide to finding podcast sponsors under 10K downloads covers the outreach sequence in detail.

How to Vet a Show Before Sponsoring or Pitching It

Rosters tell you who is buying. They do not tell you whether the next placement is worth the money. This is the four-step process CastFox is built around, and it works the same whether you are buying an ad or pitching a guest to the same show.

Discover: start from the sponsor roster, not the genre chart

Search by topic, audience, and country, then filter for shows that already carry advertisers in your category, because a show your competitor renews on has passed the hardest check for you. CastFox Discover searches 5M+ shows and surfaces sponsor history alongside the chart record, so the shortlist starts with evidence rather than a download claim.

Analyze: check the record behind the roster

For each shortlisted show, read the same columns this post uses: snapshots in the top 100 for consistency, country reach for plausibility, the latest episode date for health, and the detected sponsors and promo codes for history. CastFox Analyze puts all of it on one page, which turns a week of listening into a ten-minute review.

Organize: group the shortlist by role

Split the list into proven shows with repeat sponsors in your category, reach shows with broad country footprints, and test shows with a strong chart and little ad history. Record the quoted rate, the placement, the flight dates, and the code for each. CastFox Organize keeps that list current, so a show that stops publishing mid-negotiation is visible before the insertion order is signed.

Pitch: go to a verified contact with a specific ask

Most shows in this category are sold by the host or a producer, so the fastest path is a short message to the right person naming the roster you want to sit alongside, the flight you want, and the code you will use. CastFox Pitch supplies verified contacts and drafts the outreach from the show's own data. If you are weighing an ad against a guest appearance, Podcast Guesting vs Podcast Advertising compares the two.

Methodology: Where These Numbers Come From

CastFox records the Apple Podcasts genre charts daily in 78 countries. For this post we took the US Health & Fitness chart across 24 snapshots from February 24, 2026 to September 8, 2026, ranked shows by how consistently they held a top 100 position, and kept the top 40.

For those 40 shows we scanned 961 episodes that have been through CastFox entity processing and extracted every host-read sponsor mention, promo code, and vanity URL. That produced 1,404 ad reads naming 139 distinct brands, on 350 of the 961 episodes. The tables above cover the 60 brands with the widest reach, ordered by the number of shows they appear on and then by ad reads.

Three limits are worth stating. Sponsor names are captured as spoken, so variants of one brand are counted separately unless we say otherwise. Ad reads are counted per episode mention, so a show that repeats a sponsor in every episode accumulates a high count without the buy being large. And processed episodes do not cover every show's full back catalog, so a zero in these tables means no ad read was detected in the episodes we processed, not proof that a show has never had a sponsor. No CPMs, download figures, or rates appear anywhere on this page, because CastFox does not measure them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who sponsors health and fitness podcasts in 2026?

Across the top 40 US health and fitness podcasts, CastFox detected 1,404 host-read ad reads from 139 distinct brands. The most widely placed are Helix Sleep on 5 shows and BetterHelp on 4, followed by BRANCH BASICS, OneSkin, and Function Health on 3 each. By volume the biggest advertiser group is supplements, food, and drink, at 375 detected reads.

What kinds of brands advertise on fitness podcasts?

Seven groups account for almost all of it: supplements, food, and drink (375 detected reads); sleep, bedding, and home goods (204); mental health and telehealth services; testing and diagnostics; recovery devices and light therapy; clean living, skincare, and water filtration; and a smaller set of non-endemic brands such as insurance, ecommerce, and outdoor gear (193). Endemic health brands dominate, and 77% of the non-endemic spend sits on a single talk-format show rather than spreading across the genre.

How much do health podcast sponsorships cost?

CastFox does not measure rates, so no CPM on this page is a CastFox figure. Typical industry ranges for host-read podcast advertising run roughly $18 to $50 per thousand downloads depending on genre, placement, and flight length, with health and wellness usually sitting in the upper half of that band because the audience converts well for consumables. Treat any rate you are quoted as a starting point and verify the download figure behind it first.

How do I find out which brands already sponsor a specific podcast?

Open the show's CastFox profile: it lists the sponsors, promo codes, and vanity URLs detected in its episodes alongside its chart history and audience estimates. Listening to three or four recent episodes works too but takes hours per show, and it misses the pattern that matters, which is whether a sponsor came back.

Is it better to sponsor a show that already has advertisers or one that has none?

A show with repeat sponsors in your category has already proven it can sell and that the format works, which is why buyers pay more for it. A show with none can be cheaper and less cluttered, but you need to find out why the slot is empty. In this data 19 of the top 40 shows had no detected ad reads, and the reasons ranged from selling their own products to monetizing through a network, so ask before assuming.

How do podcasters get sponsors for a fitness podcast?

Start with the brands already running on shows like yours, because they have budget, creative, and a buyer in place. Lead with a verifiable number such as chart consistency plus your hosting-platform download figure for the last 30 days, offer a show-specific promo code before you are asked, and propose a two-episode test rather than a quarterly commitment.
