Most Consistent Podcasts of 2026: Shows That Never Miss a Week

The Most Consistent Podcasts of 2026, Ranked by Chart Floor

Updated October 2026 · Based on CastFox data covering 26 snapshots of ten US Apple Podcasts top 100 charts (2026-02-24 to 2026-09-25) and 5M+ indexed podcasts

The most consistent podcasts of 2026 are led by The Daily, Mick Unplugged, and The Joe Rogan Experience. CastFox captured 26 snapshots of the US Apple Podcasts top 100 in ten genres between February 24 and September 25, 2026, roughly one a week, and this post ranks the 100 shows that never left the top 100 and fell the shortest distance while they were there.

Most podcast rankings reward a peak. This one rewards a floor. The number we sort by is the worst rank a show hit on any of our 26 dates, so a show that spent seven months between #2 and #4 beats a show that touched #1 once and spent the rest of the period in the forties. If you are buying ads, booking guests, or planning a campaign that starts next quarter, the floor is the number that matters, because it is the one that tells you where the show will probably be when your flight goes live.

The headline finding is how narrow the top of this list is. 3 shows held the exact same rank on every single date we captured. 41 of the 100 were inside the top ten of their genre chart on all 26 dates without exception, and 22 moved within a band of three places or less across the entire seven months. Nothing on this page ranked worse than #24 on its worst day.

Every number here comes from CastFox chart data. Apple does not publish download figures, so nothing below is an audience estimate or a revenue figure. Chart position measures attention, not quality. For the shows climbing rather than holding, see our 100 fastest growing podcasts of 2026, and for category-by-category rankings start from the genre hubs: news, comedy, true crime, science, and business.

How We Measure Consistency, and Why a Floor Beats a Peak

We start with the 40 longest-serving shows on each of ten US Apple Podcasts genre charts. Those lists do not overlap at all, so the pool is 400 distinct shows. For each one we hold its rank on every one of our 26 snapshot dates, so we know not just where it averaged but where it bottomed out. 359 of the 400 appear in all 26 snapshots, which means a complete chart record is common enough that it cannot be the whole test on its own.

So the ranking works in two steps. A show must appear in all 26 snapshots to qualify at all, which rules out 41 of the 400. Then we sort the survivors by their worst rank across the whole period, lowest number first, and break ties with the average rank. The Daily ranks first because it never recorded anything other than #1 on any date we hold. The Joe Rogan Experience ranks third because its worst day in seven months was #2.

We also print two spread figures on every card, because they answer different questions. The rank spread is the distance between a show's best and worst rank, which tells you how wide a band it lives in. The standard deviation tells you whether it spends most of its time near the middle of that band or bounces between the edges. REAL AF with Andy Frisella and The Megyn Kelly Show are the clearest example: both bottomed out at #5, but one has a standard deviation of 1.1 and the other 0.5, so one of them spends real time at the bottom of its band and the other only visits.

Three things this ranking deliberately does not do. It does not reward a show for reaching #1, because a single good week is not consistency. It does not compare across genres on audience size, because a #4 on the US Science chart and a #4 on the US News chart are the same number against different size populations, and we have no download data to reconcile them. And it does not measure publishing cadence directly. Chart presence is a proxy for cadence, a good one, but the feed section below handles the publishing question with feed data instead of guessing at it from the chart.

Most Consistent Podcasts on Apple Podcasts: All 100 in One Table

Read the worst rank column first. That is the ranking. The spread column next to it tells you how much room the show used, and the top ten column counts how many of our 26 dates it spent inside the top ten of its own genre. A show with a worst rank in single digits and a spread under five is, for planning purposes, a fixed point. The feed column flags the 4 shows whose newest episode is more than 45 days behind our last snapshot.

Podcasts That Never Miss an Episode: the Top 25, Show by Show

These are the 25 shows with the highest floors in our data, in order. Each card prints the worst rank the show recorded on any of our 26 dates, its average, the width of the band it moved in, how many of those dates it spent inside its genre top ten, and how many national charts it reached on the most recent snapshot. Read the pills before the prose: the worst rank and the spread together are the part you can plan around.

#1
The Daily podcast cover art

#1. The Daily

Hosted by The New York Times · US News chart

Worst rank #1 Average rank #1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 0 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 77 countries

About this show: The New York Times daily news show, hosted by Michael Barbaro, Rachel Abrams and Natalie Kitroeff, built around one story a day in about twenty minutes. The feed describes it as six days a week, ready by 6 a.m.

Why it is this consistent: No show in our data has a cleaner record. It held the same position on the US News chart on every date we captured, which is the strongest possible version of what this list measures: a daily format, a fixed publication time, and an audience that does not have to decide whether to listen. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #1 on the US News chart, averaged #1, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 0 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 77 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for anyone who wants one newsroom-grade story a day, and for buyers who need a position that will not have moved by the time a flight starts.

#2
Mick Unplugged podcast cover art

#2. Mick Unplugged

Hosted by Mick Hunt · US Education chart

Worst rank #1 Average rank #1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 0 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 3 countries

About this show: A leadership and personal growth interview show hosted by Mick Hunt, built around what the feed calls your BECAUSE, the purpose underneath your purpose. Episodes sit with founders, athletes and performers. The feed holds 299 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It holds the top of the US Education chart on every date we hold, with no movement at all. Its international footprint is narrow compared with the rest of this group, so the record is a US chart record rather than a global one, and we report it as the data shows it. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #1 on the US Education chart, averaged #1, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 0 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 3 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want short leadership interviews, and worth a closer look from buyers precisely because its reach profile is unusual for a show at this rank.

#3
The Joe Rogan Experience podcast cover art

#3. The Joe Rogan Experience

Hosted by Joe Rogan · US Comedy chart

Worst rank #2 Average rank #1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 1 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 76 countries

About this show: Joe Rogan's long-form conversation show, described in its own feed simply as the official podcast of comedian Joe Rogan. Episodes regularly run past three hours with guests from comedy, sport, science and politics.

Why it is this consistent: It is the clearest case of scale plus persistence in the data. The show never dropped out of the top two of the US Comedy chart in seven months, and it charts in almost every country we track, which is a combination almost nothing else on this page matches. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #2 on the US Comedy chart, averaged #1, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 1 place from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.2. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 76 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want unhurried interviews, and for advertisers who need one buy to cover a very large US audience.

#4
Crime Junkie podcast cover art

#4. Crime Junkie

Hosted by Audiochuck · US True Crime chart

Worst rank #2 Average rank #1.1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 1 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 77 countries

About this show: Hosted by Ashley Flowers with Brit Prawat, Crime Junkie covers infamous and underreported cases. The feed commits to a new episode every Monday. The feed holds 528 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: A weekly release with a named day is the easiest kind of consistency to maintain and the hardest to fake, and the chart record matches the promise. True crime is a volatile category week to week, which makes a floor this high unusual inside it. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #2 on the US True Crime chart, averaged #1.1, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 1 place from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.3. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 77 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for weekly true crime listeners, and the default anchor buy for anyone planning a true crime campaign.

#5
Pardon My Take podcast cover art

#5. Pardon My Take

Hosted by Barstool Sports · US Sports chart

Worst rank #2 Average rank #1.2 In all 26 snapshots Spread 1 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 20 countries

About this show: Barstool Sports' daily sports talk show with Big Cat and PFT Commenter, mixing takes, guests and recurring bits. The feed describes daily topics. The feed holds 910 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: Sports charts move with the sporting calendar, so a show that holds near the top of the US Sports chart through the gap between the NFL and NBA seasons is doing something the category does not usually allow. The daily cadence is what carries it through the quiet weeks. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #2 on the US Sports chart, averaged #1.2, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 1 place from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.4. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 20 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for daily sports listeners, and for brands that want sports attention in the months when sports audiences normally dip.

#6
The Mel Robbins Podcast podcast cover art

#6. The Mel Robbins Podcast

Hosted by Mel Robbins · US Education chart

Worst rank #2 Average rank #2 In all 26 snapshots Spread 0 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 78 countries

About this show: Mel Robbins turns research-backed behavior change advice into standalone episodes, often built around a single tool or habit. She is the author of The 5 Second Rule. The feed holds 433 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It did not move at all on the US Education chart across our whole window, and it is one of only a handful of shows here charting in every country we track. Flat and global at the same time is the rarest shape in this data. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #2 on the US Education chart, averaged #2, best-ranked at #2, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 0 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 78 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want one practical idea per episode, and for advertisers who need a single show that reaches a self-improvement audience in many markets at once.

#7
The Dylan Gemelli Podcast podcast cover art

#7. The Dylan Gemelli Podcast

Hosted by Dylan Gemelli · US Health & Fitness chart

Worst rank #3 Average rank #1.3 In all 26 snapshots Spread 2 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 4 countries

About this show: Dylan Gemelli hosts a health, fitness and biohacking show that the feed frames around unfiltered discussion of training, supplementation and wellbeing. The feed holds 165 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It holds the top of the US Health and Fitness chart with very little movement while charting in only a few countries, so its record is concentrated in one market. We rank what the chart says and leave the interpretation to you. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #3 on the US Health & Fitness chart, averaged #1.3, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 2 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.6. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 4 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners already deep in fitness and supplementation content, and a show to inspect in detail before buying rather than to buy on rank alone.

#8
Something You Should Know podcast cover art

#8. Something You Should Know

Hosted by Mike Carruthers | OmniCast Media · US Science chart

Worst rank #3 Average rank #1.6 In all 26 snapshots Spread 2 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 41 countries

About this show: Mike Carruthers interviews experts and packages the result into short, practical episodes, with a segment of brief facts at the end. Produced with OmniCast Media.

Why it is this consistent: It has been near the top of the US Science chart on every date we hold, which for a show with a very large back catalogue says the cadence has not slipped. Episodes are short and self-contained, so new listeners do not have to start anywhere in particular. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #3 on the US Science chart, averaged #1.6, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 2 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.6. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 41 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for commuters who want a complete episode in one trip, and for advertisers who want frequency against a general-interest adult audience.

#9
Up First from NPR podcast cover art

#9. Up First from NPR

Hosted by NPR · US News chart

Worst rank #3 Average rank #2.2 In all 26 snapshots Spread 1 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 41 countries

About this show: NPR's morning news briefing covers the day's three biggest stories in about ten minutes, available weekdays at 6:30 a.m. ET with weekend editions. The feed holds 500 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: A fixed daily slot and a ten-minute format make this one of the most reliable listening habits in podcasting, and the chart record reflects it. It never left the top three of the US News chart in our window. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #3 on the US News chart, averaged #2.2, best-ranked at #2, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 1 place from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.4. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 41 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want the headlines and nothing else, and for buyers who want daily reach against a news audience at a predictable position.

#10
Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast cover art

#10. Good Hang with Amy Poehler

Hosted by The Ringer · US Comedy chart

Worst rank #3 Average rank #2.3 In all 26 snapshots Spread 2 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 71 countries

About this show: Amy Poehler hosts a weekly conversation show for The Ringer, welcoming celebrities and friends to talk about their work and what has been making them laugh. The feed is explicit that it is not an advice show. The feed holds 80 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It has one of the smallest back catalogues in this top group and still holds a top-three position on the US Comedy chart on every date we captured. Launch momentum usually fades inside a few months, and here it has not. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #3 on the US Comedy chart, averaged #2.3, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 2 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.6. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 71 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want low-stakes celebrity conversation, and the most interesting buy on this page for brands that want a newer show with an established floor.

#11
Hidden Brain podcast cover art

#11. Hidden Brain

Hosted by Hidden Brain, Shankar Vedantam · US Science chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #1.7 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 78 countries

About this show: Shankar Vedantam's show uses psychology and behavioral science research to explain everyday behavior, built around narrative episodes rather than interviews. The feed holds 625 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: Science is a category where shows rotate in and out of the top ten constantly, and this one simply does not. It also charts in every country we track, which is a sign the subject matter travels rather than depending on US news cycles. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Science chart, averaged #1.7, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.8. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 78 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want research explained through story, and for advertisers looking for a global science audience with a stable position.

#12
The Shawn Ryan Show podcast cover art

#12. The Shawn Ryan Show

Hosted by Shawn Ryan · US Society & Culture chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #1.7 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 46 countries

About this show: Shawn Ryan, a former US Navy SEAL and CIA contractor, hosts long interviews with guests from military, law enforcement and civilian backgrounds. The feed holds 396 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It holds the top of the US Society and Culture chart through a window that included several news-driven surges in that category, and it did not give up position to any of them. The long-form format gives it a dedicated return audience rather than a drop-in one. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Society & Culture chart, averaged #1.7, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.8. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 46 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want extended first-person interviews, and for brands reaching an engaged, predominantly male US audience.

#13. All-In with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg

Hosted by All-In Podcast, LLC · US Technology chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #1.8 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 76 countries

About this show: Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks and David Friedberg discuss technology, markets and politics in a weekly roundtable, described in the feed as covering economic, tech, political and social topics. The feed holds 414 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: Technology chart positions usually follow product launches and funding news, so a roundtable that holds the top of the category every week is doing it on cadence rather than on events. It is also one of the widest-reaching shows in this group internationally. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Technology chart, averaged #1.8, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.9. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 76 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want the week in technology and markets argued out loud, and for B2B advertisers who need founders and investors in one buy.

#14. Unblinded with Sean Callagy

Hosted by Sean Callagy · US Business chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #2.2 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 2 countries

About this show: Sean Callagy, an entrepreneur and attorney, hosts a show about influence, communication and peak performance in business and in life. The feed holds 19 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It holds a top-five position on the US Business chart on every date we hold while charting in very few countries, and our index shows no new episode in the feed for several months. A high, flat chart record with a quiet feed behind it is the pattern on this page most worth checking yourself. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Business chart, averaged #2.2, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.6. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 2 national top 100 charts. Our index shows its newest episode 105 days before that final snapshot, so check the feed directly before treating it as active.

Best fit for: Worth a direct look at the feed before you treat it as an active buy, whatever the chart position says.

Dateline NBC podcast cover art

#15. Dateline NBC

Hosted by NBC News · US True Crime chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #2.3 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 68 countries

About this show: NBC News publishes current and classic Dateline episodes in one feed, mixing new investigations with the archive. The feed holds 852 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: Running a current show and a deep archive in the same feed gives it a floor that a single weekly release cannot, and the chart record shows the effect: it stayed inside the top four of the US True Crime chart throughout. It is also one of the most widely charting true crime feeds we track. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US True Crime chart, averaged #2.3, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.7. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 68 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want documentary-style cases, and for advertisers who want true crime reach across many countries at once.

#16. Passion Struck with John R. Miles

Hosted by Passion Struck with John R. Miles · US Health & Fitness chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #2.4 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 5 countries

About this show: John R. Miles, a bestselling author and former Fortune 50 executive, hosts science-backed conversations on personal growth and human flourishing. The feed holds 759 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It holds a top-five position on the US Health and Fitness chart on every date we captured, but our index shows its newest episode is several months old, so the chart record and the feed are telling different stories. We print both rather than resolving it for you. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Health & Fitness chart, averaged #2.4, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.7. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 5 national top 100 charts. Our index shows its newest episode 154 days before that final snapshot, so check the feed directly before treating it as active.

Best fit for: Best for listeners working through a large back catalogue, and a show to verify directly before any buy or pitch.

#17
Acquired podcast cover art

#17. Acquired

Hosted by Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal · US Technology chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #2.5 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 77 countries

About this show: Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal tell the history of a single company per episode, often at several hours in length, focused on the decisions that built it. The feed holds 216 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: Episodes land infrequently by podcast standards, which should make the chart position move, and it does not. That gap is the most interesting thing in this part of the data: the back catalogue is doing the work between releases. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Technology chart, averaged #2.5, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.9. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 77 national top 100 charts. Our index shows its newest episode 46 days before that final snapshot, so check the feed directly before treating it as active.

Best fit for: Best for founders and investors who want one company studied properly, and for advertisers who value depth of attention over release frequency.

#18. The Jamie Kern Lima Show

Hosted by Jamie Kern Lima · US Education chart

Worst rank #4 Average rank #3.1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 1 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 1 countries

About this show: Jamie Kern Lima, the founder of IT Cosmetics, hosts a show about self-belief and confidence, built around interviews and solo episodes. The feed holds 116 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It sits inside the top four of the US Education chart with almost no movement at all, one of the tightest ranges on this page. Its chart presence is effectively US-only in our data, so treat the reach and the stability as separate facts. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #4 on the US Education chart, averaged #3.1, best-ranked at #3, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 1 place from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.3. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 1 national top 100 chart.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want encouragement with a business-founder perspective, and for US-only campaigns in the self-improvement space.

#19. REAL AF with Andy Frisella

Hosted by Andy Frisella · US Business chart

Worst rank #5 Average rank #2.2 In all 26 snapshots Spread 4 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 7 countries

About this show: Andy Frisella, the founder of supplement company 1st Phorm, and his guests work through business topics and current debates. The feed is also home to his earlier MFCEO Project show.

Why it is this consistent: A high-volume release schedule across two shows in one feed keeps it at the top of the US Business chart every week. Its international footprint is small, so the consistency is concentrated in the US market. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #5 on the US Business chart, averaged #2.2, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 4 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 1.1. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 7 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want blunt business talk, and for US direct-response advertisers who need frequency.

#20. Huberman Lab

Hosted by Scicomm Media · US Health & Fitness chart

Worst rank #5 Average rank #3.1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 4 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 78 countries

About this show: Andrew Huberman, a neuroscientist and tenured Stanford professor, covers neuroscience and science-based protocols for sleep, focus, training and health. The feed holds 439 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: It never fell out of the top five of the US Health and Fitness chart in our window and it charts in every country we track. For a show built on long single-topic episodes rather than news, that combination is the strongest signal of a committed audience in this category. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #5 on the US Health & Fitness chart, averaged #3.1, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 4 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 1. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 78 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want protocol-level detail, and for health and supplement brands that need global reach from one show.

#21. Radiolab

Hosted by WNYC Studios · US Science chart

Worst rank #5 Average rank #3.1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 4 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 76 countries

About this show: WNYC Studios' investigative science show, hosted by Lulu Miller and Latif Nasser, known for its sound design and, in its own words, for using investigative journalism to answer deep questions. The feed holds 669 episodes.

Why it is this consistent: A deep back catalogue and a steady release pattern keep it inside the top five of the US Science chart on every date we hold. Shows with an archive this size usually drift down the chart as newer entrants arrive, and this one has not. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #5 on the US Science chart, averaged #3.1, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 4 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 1. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 76 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want narrative science rather than interviews, and for brands that want a long-trusted public radio audience.

#22. Pod Save America

Hosted by Pod Save America · US News chart

Worst rank #5 Average rank #3.1 In all 26 snapshots Spread 3 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 31 countries

About this show: Former Obama aides Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer and Tommy Vietor break down the week in American politics, with episodes on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays according to the feed.

Why it is this consistent: Three fixed releases a week is the most reliable cadence in political podcasting, and it shows: the position never slipped out of the top five of the US News chart even across quiet news weeks, which is when politics shows usually fall. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #5 on the US News chart, averaged #3.1, best-ranked at #2, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 3 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.8. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 31 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who follow US politics closely, and for advertisers who want a politically engaged audience at a stable position.

#23. The Megyn Kelly Show

Hosted by SiriusXM · US News chart

Worst rank #5 Average rank #3.9 In all 26 snapshots Spread 2 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 18 countries

About this show: Megyn Kelly interviews political, legal and cultural figures in a show distributed by SiriusXM, described in its own feed as open, honest and provocative conversations.

Why it is this consistent: It holds a tight band inside the top five of the US News chart with one of the smallest ranges in our data, which is what high release volume and a fixed audience produce together. Its chart presence is concentrated in a handful of countries. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #5 on the US News chart, averaged #3.9, best-ranked at #3, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 2 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 0.5. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 18 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want daily interview-led news commentary, and for US advertisers who want predictable daily reach.

The Bill Simmons Podcast podcast cover art

#24. The Bill Simmons Podcast

Hosted by The Ringer · US Sports chart

Worst rank #6 Average rank #2.2 In all 26 snapshots Spread 5 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 67 countries

About this show: Bill Simmons hosts The Ringer's flagship sports and pop culture show with a rotating group of colleagues, athletes and friends.

Why it is this consistent: It stayed inside the top six of the US Sports chart across the whole window, including the off-season months, and it charts widely outside the US. A large release volume and a subject range that reaches past sport are what keep it there when the sporting calendar goes quiet. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #6 on the US Sports chart, averaged #2.2, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 5 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 1.1. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 67 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want sports and pop culture in the same feed, and for advertisers who need year-round sports reach rather than seasonal spikes.

#25
Stuff You Should Know podcast cover art

#25. Stuff You Should Know

Hosted by iHeartPodcasts · US Society & Culture chart

Worst rank #6 Average rank #3 In all 26 snapshots Spread 5 places Top ten on 26 of 26 dates Charting in 68 countries

About this show: Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant explain one subject per episode, from champagne to chaos theory, in an iHeartPodcasts general-interest show with a very large archive.

Why it is this consistent: An enormous evergreen archive and a steady release schedule give it a floor almost nothing in Society and Culture can match. Nothing about its position depends on the news, which is exactly why it does not move. Across our 26 snapshots it never ranked worse than #6 on the US Society & Culture chart, averaged #3, best-ranked at #1, and spent 26 of 26 dates inside the top ten. Its rank moved within 5 places from end to end, with a standard deviation of 1.1. On the most recent snapshot it charted in 68 national top 100 charts.

Best fit for: Best for listeners who want a standalone explainer on any subject, and for advertisers who want broad general-interest reach with no topical risk.

Podcasts With the Longest Unbroken Chart Runs

Every show on this page cleared its genre top 100 on all 26 of our dates, which is already a seven-month unbroken run. The question worth asking next is how high the run sat. 41 of the 100 never left the top ten of their genre on any date, and that is a far smaller club: it means the show was in the most visible part of the chart every week for seven months, through holidays, news cycles, and whatever its competitors were launching.

3 shows did not move at all: The Daily at #1, Mick Unplugged at #1, The Mel Robbins Podcast at #2, each recorded on every one of our 26 dates. For a chart that recalculates daily, a standard deviation of zero over seven months is the most extreme result in this dataset, and it is worth saying plainly that it describes a show whose position is effectively locked rather than one that is winning anything new.

Below are 30 of those 41 runs, sorted by how tight the band was. A spread of two or three places across 26 weeks is the practical definition of a show you can schedule against.

The international column is the one to watch in this table. 40 of the 100 shows on this page charted in 50 or more of the 78 countries we track on the most recent date, led by The Mel Robbins Podcast in 78, Hidden Brain in 78, Huberman Lab in 78, On Purpose with Jay Shetty in 78. At the other end, 22 of the 100 charted in five countries or fewer, which makes them US-only propositions however stable their US position is. Stability and reach are separate facts and this dataset keeps them separate.

Podcasts That Publish Every Week Without Fail

Chart consistency is a proxy for publishing consistency, but it is not the same thing, so this section uses feed data instead. For every show we hold the date of the newest episode our index had seen as of the final snapshot. Those dates lag the chart by roughly two weeks because the feed index and the chart capture run on different cycles, which means a show two or three weeks behind is almost certainly mid-cycle rather than dormant. We only call a feed quiet when it is more than 45 days behind.

By that test 76 of the 100 shows were publishing normally at the last snapshot and 4 were not. The 4 exceptions are worth naming because they are the rows where chart position and publishing activity disagree, and that gap is exactly what a rate card will not tell you: Unblinded with Sean Callagy at #14, newest episode 105 days before our last snapshot; Passion Struck with John R. Miles at #16, newest episode 154 days before our last snapshot; Acquired at #17, newest episode 46 days before our last snapshot; Building AI Boston at #63, newest episode 102 days before our last snapshot. A show can hold a high chart position on back catalogue alone, and these are the clearest cases of it on this page.

Cadence shows up in the data in a second way. 24 of the 100 shows have episode counts at or above the 1,000-episode ceiling our index records, which is the signature of a high-frequency format sustained over years: The Daily, The Joe Rogan Experience, Something You Should Know, REAL AF with Andy Frisella, Pod Save America, The Megyn Kelly Show among them. Daily shows dominate the top of this ranking for a structural reason rather than a mysterious one. A daily release gives a chart algorithm something new to rank every day, so the position has no chance to decay between episodes. Weekly shows that match them, like Crime Junkie, do it by publishing on the same named day every week, which produces the same effect on a seven-day cycle.

If you need the cadence verified rather than inferred, every CastFox show profile carries the full episode history with publication dates, so you can see the gaps rather than reasoning about them from a chart. Our vetting checklist walks through what to look for.

Which Genres Reward Consistency

We took the 100 highest floors across ten charts without balancing the genres, so the count each genre contributes is a finding rather than a quota. Science leads with 16 of the 100 and Society & Culture contributes the fewest at 5. The pattern is not about audience size. It is about how much a category depends on events: charts driven by news, sport, or release schedules churn, and charts driven by evergreen subject matter do not.

Society & Culture5The Shawn Ryan Show#445 places

Two things in this table deserve a second look. Science contributes the most shows of any chart at 16, which fits a category where listeners come for a subject rather than for a moment. Sports and Society and Culture contribute the fewest at 5 each, and for different reasons: sports charts move with the sporting calendar, while society and culture is the category most exposed to whatever happened in the news that week. The median spread column is a separate signal from the count, and the narrowest bands belong to Society & Culture at 5 places and News at 6 places, while Technology is the widest at 12. Our genre rankings go deeper on each: best science podcasts, best business podcasts, best comedy podcasts, best news podcasts, and best true crime podcasts.

What This Means for Advertisers, Guests, and Hosts

If you are buying ads

A floor is a forecast and a peak is not. The shows at the top of this page are the ones where the position you negotiate against in October will still be roughly the position you get in January, which is what makes them the right anchor for a campaign with a long lead time. The trade is price: consistency is the most visible quality a show has, so these rate cards are already current. Where this list earns its keep is in the middle, between roughly #30 and #100, where the floors are still high but the names are less familiar. Check the feed column before you shortlist anything, because 4 of these rows are shows holding position without publishing. Our media buying guide covers the negotiation and CPM benchmarks by genre give the pricing context this page does not.

If you are pitching yourself as a guest

Consistent shows are the hardest bookings in podcasting and the most valuable ones, because the audience that shows up every week is the audience that will hear you. The realistic read on this page is that the top 25 are out of reach for a cold pitch and the point of the table is the rest of it: shows with a seven-month unbroken run and a narrow international footprint are often one-person or small-team operations where the host reads the inbox. Match the show's format before you write, because an interview show and a narrative show want completely different pitches. You can build a target list from any of these shows with the media list builder.

If you make a podcast

The most useful number on this page for a host is 359 out of 400. A complete chart record over seven months is not rare among shows that chart at all, which means simply never missing a release puts you in the majority of the charting population rather than ahead of it. What separates the top of this list is the combination of a fixed cadence and a format that does not depend on a news cycle. 24 of the 100 are at or above our index's 1,000-episode ceiling, so the other lesson is unglamorous: the shows with the highest floors have mostly been doing the same thing for years.

Methodology: Where These Numbers Come From

CastFox captures the Apple Podcasts top 100 for every genre in 78 countries and stores each capture as a dated snapshot. This post uses the US charts for ten genres: business, comedy, news, technology, health and fitness, true crime, sports, society and culture, education, science. We hold 26 snapshots of each between February 24 and September 25, 2026, which works out to roughly one a week. For every show that appeared in any of those snapshots we have its rank on each date, and from that we calculate appearances, average rank, best rank, worst rank, the spread between best and worst, the standard deviation of the rank, and how many dates it spent inside the top ten, top 25, and top 50.

To qualify, a show must appear in all 26 snapshots of at least one of the ten charts. 359 of the 400 distinct shows in our pool clear that bar. We then rank the qualifiers by worst rank, lowest first, and break ties by average rank and then by the number of national charts the show reached on the most recent date. Where a show charts in more than one of the ten genres, we keep the chart where its record is strongest and name that genre. 400 chart entries were considered in total.

Show details, including host names, episode counts, and subject matter, come from the podcast's own feed description, its CastFox profile, and our enrichment index. Where a description does not state a publishing cadence, we do not state one. Episode counts are capped at 1,000 in our index, so a show listed at 1,000 episodes has at least that many. Feed dates reflect the newest episode our index held as of the final snapshot and lag the chart capture by roughly two weeks, which is why we only flag a feed as quiet past 45 days.

Three limitations are worth naming. First, a floor measured over seven months is not a guarantee about the next seven, and a show can be displaced by a single large launch in its category. Second, the ten charts are different sizes in audience terms, so an identical worst rank is not worth the same in every row; the ranking compares each show against its own category. Third, nothing here is a download figure, an audience size, or a revenue estimate, because Apple publishes none of those and we do not model them into a chart post. Treat every figure as a direction rather than a measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the most consistent podcasts in 2026?

Across 26 weekly snapshots of ten US Apple Podcasts genre charts between February 24 and September 25, 2026, the highest floors belong to The Daily, which recorded #1 on every single date, Mick Unplugged on the Education chart, and The Joe Rogan Experience, whose worst day in seven months was #2. 41 shows never left their genre top ten on any date we captured, and 3 did not move at all.

What are the most reliable weekly podcasts in 2026?

The most reliable weekly releases in our data are Crime Junkie, which commits to a named day each week and never ranked worse than #2 on the US True Crime chart, Good Hang with Amy Poehler on the Comedy chart, and All-In on the Technology chart. Weekly shows are at a structural disadvantage against daily ones in a chart ranking, so a weekly show with a single-digit floor over 26 snapshots is doing something unusual.

Which podcasts never miss an episode?

We cannot verify a publishing record directly, so we measure the chart proxy and then check the feed. 359 of the 400 shows in our pool appear in all 26 snapshots, and of the 100 ranked here 76 had a newest episode within three weeks of our final snapshot. 4 did not: Unblinded with Sean Callagy, Passion Struck with John R. Miles, Acquired, Building AI Boston. Those are the shows holding a chart position on back catalogue rather than on new releases.

Which podcasts have the longest unbroken chart runs?

The Daily holds the longest unbroken run at the very top, appearing at #1 on all 26 of our dates. 41 of the 100 shows here cleared their genre top ten on every date across the full seven months, and the tightest bands belong to The Daily (0 places of movement), Mick Unplugged (0 places of movement), The Mel Robbins Podcast (0 places of movement), The Joe Rogan Experience (1 place of movement).

Are consistent podcasts better to advertise on than fast-growing ones?

They answer different needs. A consistent show gives you a position you can plan a campaign around months in advance, which matters when a buy has a long lead time, but its rate card already reflects that stability. A climbing show may be priced on last quarter's position, which is the arbitrage, with the risk that it is not there when the flight starts. The usual answer is both, with the consistent shows as the anchor. Our fastest growing podcasts of 2026 covers the other side.

How is this list ranked?

A show must appear in all 26 CastFox snapshots of a US Apple Podcasts genre chart between February 24 and September 25, 2026. Qualifiers are then ranked by the worst rank they recorded on any of those dates, lowest number first, with ties broken by average rank and then by the number of national charts reached on the most recent date. We ran it across ten genre charts and took the 100 highest floors. All of the underlying chart data comes from CastFox.
